Well son of a bitch, so it is. Thank you kindly...I never would have known Be sure to check the channels that say they don't have a game on too. The SanDiego/LA game that's listed on one channel for me is actually on another channel... And the Mil/St. Louis game that isn't listed at all is on another one. sfaJack 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Anyone here actually ordered the Extra Innings package for a whole season? Is it really worth it? I've been playing around with it tonight since the Cubs were pissing me off (how the FUCK do you let the REDS pitching staff shut you out?) and it seems pretty sweet. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 8, 2004 The Dream Wrecker has made it through 1 and 2/3 inning? He looks like a tool with that goatee.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 8, 2004 I love that E-Bay story. "Hair freshly feathered" made it. I heard about it on the radio and was able to catch it right before they took it off. And the asshole LA announcer trying to blame NY for TDW's suckage is offensive. And his brother looks just like him. He's like the mini-wrecker.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Anyone here actually ordered the Extra Innings package for a whole season? Is it really worth it? I've been playing around with it tonight since the Cubs were pissing me off (how the FUCK do you let the REDS pitching staff shut you out?) and it seems pretty sweet. I found myself doing the same thing since I've got this sickness that won't let me completely stop watching a Cubs game, regardless of how hopeless the situation is. Tonight's game just reminded me a lot of Game 5 of the NLCS where it was evident that Beckett was on. At least Lee broke up the shutout in the 9th, as you'd hate to rack up a goose egg in the second game of the season. Regardless, poor night for the Cubs' hitting and Maddux didn't impress me at all. Hopefully he can prove me wrong in saying that the acquisition was a bad idea.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Who the fuck does he think he is pitching out of a jam? He's Jeff Weaver, the Yankee Dream Wrecker, God Damnit, he's suppsoed to slowly fall apart on the mound and then end up in the club house claiming to the press that he "Thought he saw some good things in that one inning before the eight run one"
Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Its looking like I should have played Brandon Webb tonight. However I'm quite certain the Rockies offense will knock a couple more off of him, and while a win is good a low ERA and WHIP is important as well.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 8, 2004 This isn't fucking fair, god damnit! Where is the man that ruined the World Series? Where's the guy that was sold on E-Bay?

The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 I wonder if MrRant has broken his TV yet Why? ::flips to Angels game:: Oh FUCKING SHIT. That's the power of the VLAD!!! I was hoping the Yankees would go get him instead of Sheffield...because I can see all the Yankees games... but now I'm going to order this package so it doesn't matter. Go Angels!!! Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 8, 2004 I've said it before, but on my little personal score card, there are five teams with real, legit shots at the WS. Yankees, Sawx, Asstros, Cubs, Angels. It hasn't been a fun day for me.
Bored 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 This isn't fucking fair, god damnit! Where is the man that ruined the World Series? Where's the guy that was sold on E-Bay? It's called pitching for the Dodgers. Pitching in Dodger Stadium cures many ills.

HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Angles/Mariners turning into a slugfest, now 8-4 Angels with Mariners coming back from 8-0 here in the bottom of the 4th
Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted April 8, 2004 In the end the Angels don't have the starting pitching to truly compete. You can see this on the game right now, because if the Angels were facing a Curt Schilling or Mark Prior in a playoff game those 4 runs they just gave up are a HUGE hurdle to overcome. They'll need to aquire another ace by the trade deadline, because Colon can't do it all himself. Especially seeing as how Percival might not make it the whole year, so another innings eating starting pitcher would be huge. Like a Livian Hernandez. The Angels are really my third American League team. I'm pretty sure they'll win the division, and once you make the play offs fucked up things can happen. The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Watching Jeff Weaver pitch a good game is...odd. I mean...I liked him with the Tigers...but when he got to NY every at bat seemed like a home run was coming.

NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 The A's still have the pitching to carry them to a American League West first place finish. If Jermaine Dye's recent offense is not a tease, and he is truly back to his form from before he broke his ankle, then watch out, he will win comeback player of the year. Also Eric Chavez is poised, and Bobby Crosby is a likely canidate for rookie of the year. Now while this A's team is certainly good, it is still the worst team on paper over the past four years, so how far they go in the playoffs would once again come into question, but this year I could actually live with them not making it past the first round since they have a lot of situational players and youngin's, but that pitching should still be enough.
