Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted April 10, 2004 Damnit TCR stop rubbing the fact you got to meet Bozo in my face. Did you get to meet the old man in the coveralls too or was this by the time they had the second incarnation of Bozo? Rereading your post perhaps its Proffesor Andy I'm talking about. We've always had TBS (my childhood consisted of watching NWA wrestling which then turned into WCW sandwiched by hour blocks of Captain Planet...me and my father watched NWA/WCW together) and our WB affiliate is WLVI. We've always had TBS (my childhood consisted of watching NWA wrestling which then turned into WCW sandwiched by hour blocks of Captain Planet...me and my father watched NWA/WCW together) and our WB affiliate is WLVI. It was during the "Super Sunday Show" days of the program. You see my family had been on a waiting list for tickets since 1989 and it wasn't until 1995 that we finally got to go. But by then the show had changed from a one-hour weekday morning show to a two-hour Sunday morning show. ANYHOW, back to WGN...right now I'm watching the Sox beat the Yankees. Something doesn't seem right about watching the White Sox on the station that owns the Cubs...I wish Sox stayed on Fox Sports Chicago and Cubs got channel 9. Guest OctoberBlood Report post Posted April 10, 2004 Yeah because the Reds' announcers are sooooo much better. On the radio, yes, they own everyone, but on Fox Sports Ohio, no. But when did I say they were? We were talking about TBS and WGN, moron. Hilarious how you change it to the Reds. Typical garbage. But I will give you this .. there is nobody as bad as Joe Buck and Tim McCarver. I'm aware of which teams we were talking about but as a Reds fan, you don't have a whole lot of room to talk about poor commentating teams. There's nothing really wrong with the TBS announcing duo, except that they lack any semblence of emotion. I'm quite aware that Carey isn't that great, but you can tell he really loves the Cubs and isn't just out there for his paycheck. Also, I see nothing wrong with Stoney. Nah, actually I have every room to talk since we were talking about WGN and the Braves. If we were talking about WGN and Fox Sports Ohio, then sure - I wouldn't have the room to talk.. but we werent. So you are in the wrong. Listening to Joe Buck, Carey, Carter or Stone makes me vomit. But not like it means anything, so who cares. You like them, I don't. Super Sunday Show Bozo was a totally different Bozo...in fact I don't even count him since his voice was so god awfully deep compared to the original Bozo. He was FraudZo

Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted April 10, 2004 The only solution to the Yankees woes is to go out and trade the rest of their minor league system to Seattle and Arizona for Bret Boone and Randy Johnson. Push it to $300mill bay-bay~
Guest Choken One Report post Posted April 10, 2004 Randy Johnson? Might as well raid YOUNGER TALENT. Steal Prior instead.

Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted April 10, 2004 I got Matt Morris going for me later today. Hopefully he bounces back...either way I can use the free MLB Extra Innings preview to see if he's got dead arm. He was like a 10th round pick anyways so no big deal if he's done. I've got Dontrelle Willis, Roy Oswalt, and Brandon Webb backing him up. Not to mention I still know of a few sleepers left in the FA pool.
