Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted April 7, 2004 I wish I knew how to make an emulator play on MAME, so I could play The Simpsons Arcade Game. I played for the first time in years waiting for Walking Tall to begin at the local (25miles away) mall that has a theater. So fun.... And Rock's movies are now 0 for 3. Anya 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2004 I really like Die Hard Arcade and Dynamite Cop. Fighting Force was good. Never played 2, but it looked like it wasn't a beat em up. I want to try Gekido for PSX. SOR3's soundtrack is good. I like the character selection music.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2004 Fighting Force 2 sucks. Also, yeah, it isn't as much of a beat 'em up and more of a third-person platformer. You control one guy (one of FF1 peeps with a goatee now), and you: wander around a bunch of poor-looking contained locales struggle with lame controls try to fulfill vague goals by punching/kicking/shooting various things, with an occasional clue to go on watch stuff blow up ...that's pretty much it. They attempted to go in a different direction with the sequel, and pretty much screwed everything the first game had going for it. The weapons are more diverse, but the guns are a pain in the ass to use in actual combat. SoR3 doesn't have bad music, mind you, it's just that SoR2 has one of the best 16-bit game soundtracks ever. razazteca 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Zombies Revenge! Is one of my favorite games on the Dreamcast which combined Die Hard & Resident Evil game play. I only seen this game in one arcade in San Antonio which is at the Fort Sam Houston miltary base.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Fighting Force blows, for the record. Now Dynamite Cop, that's a sweet game. You can't beat hitting a guy with a giant trout.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2004 Naw, I liked Fighting Force--just not anymore. It's not stood the test of time like the 16 bit ones have. It's on topic! Gekido for GBA is really good. Double Dragon Advance, naturally, is quite bitchin'.

Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted April 10, 2004 Someone should make a new Altered Beast I don't know how I missed this the first time, but I demand that you bring back the Altered Beast sig I never played the Streets games (despite having a genisis) so I'm about to download the crap out of them. But I'll tell you right now, no matter how good, I will never admit that any game is better than Alien vs. Predator
Sass 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2004 Two of the most underrated games in SNES: 1. Batman Returns 2. Ninja Warriors, Again These games were hideously overlooked by Gamepro when they came out back when I was a subscriber. Batman throwing a fat clown over his shoulder and driving him head first into the street is an awesome visual. The Ninja Warriors game is just absolutely savage. Ninja, the biggest one, is a freakin powerhouse who can just killify guys. I love these two games and play them every now and then since I picked up a SNES emulator several months ago. I *HIGHLY* recommend everyone here give these two games a spin if they haven't played them or else another try. I can't stress enough how fun these games are. They're not overly hard but they're also no cake walk to beat. Being a comic book fan, I enjoyed the X-Men: Apocalypse game as well as Captain America and the Avengers (the arcade version, the SNES and Genesis versions blew IMO compared to the arcade one).
