mister foozel 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2004 Am I the only one that doesn't care if Bret is there or not. He can't wrestle. What's he going to do come out and hug Benoit or something. If he can't wrestle then there's no need for him to be there. If he wanted to make a Big return to WWE then it should've happened at WM20. I agree. And even if he would be coming back, I'm getting so sick of old stars being brought back because of all the Hogan and nWo bullshit that it totally changes my outlook on a wrestler's "return'. Guest Brian Report post Posted April 7, 2004 That's because Hogan stuck around, liek so many others, long past their final hurray. Bret's coming in once.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2004 Well, the RAW following Backlash IS in Calgary. I would be surprised if Bret did show up.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 7, 2004 With Eddy hugging Benoit at WrestleMania XX, and Bret doing it at Backlash, it would seem as if the World Heavyweight Champion is a damn charity case. Unless... He has one hell of a match, he's injured somewhere during the match (worked), but he somehow manages to get through it - and Bret coming out would be either be of the "just happened to be walking by" or "you're in my neck of the woods" mentality. If it was done right, then I'd love it. In regards to the video, I just watched it, but I have no sound until I hook up these alternate big-ass speakers, but I'm guessing that some of/the entire video's sound was a beating heart? The video would have been relatively easy to make, as would have been more professional text - and yes, that contributes to me doubting it's legitimacy. Although... Could it be an official WWE video? Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2004 I didn't know what it was upon clicking on it, which made my eyes roll even harder when I saw what was inside.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 7, 2004 My eyes didn't roll - I found it interesting, even though I'm 85% sure that it's fake. But I can see where you're coming from - what a cliched video. Think about what's been saved until Backlash - Foley/Orton, for one thing (I wish that I could say Jericho/Christian), and most expected Bret to appear at WrestleMania. Well, why not at Backlash? And why not in Canada? And why not in Edmonton, Alberta?
Guest McShady Report post Posted April 7, 2004 That commercial never said Bret Hart. Teddy Hart is coming to the WWE weee!
