Paul Stanley 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2004 Hi. I bought a brand new xbox a week ago with two games (true crime & gta double pack) and notice that whenever i am driving and someone starts talking it slows down, especially in the Love Fist limo mission, it pauses for a brief second whenever someone talks....is it the laser and such or the game itself? If it's the xbox i have to return it within 30 days to exchange it.
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Is it happening everytime someone talks?? Cause if it is.....It could just be the disk. Are you hearing the drive when it pauses?
Karnage 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Its probably the disc. Give the disc a good wipe to remove dust and stuff. The only way I think it could be the system causing the problem is if you put the system on a carpet or something instead of a flat surface.
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted April 14, 2004 My Xbox is on the carpet......... does that spell death??? I've had my Dreamcast since 99 and it's never been on carpet. It was in the entertainment center...then later i've moved it to computer desk.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Generally not a good idea to put electronics on the carpet due to static electricity..
razazteca 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Consoles on carpet is a bad idea as it will overheat.
BX 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Let's just think of as many reasons as we can why you shouldn't leave an X-Box on the carpet. Reason Three: It is prone to animals taking a crap on it.. which they will.
justsoyouknow 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Reason four: When you come home drunk, you'll forget it's there and trip over it.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Reason five: Young children have access to it and will see it. I personally don't want my 6 year old cousin who's over quite a bit to even so much as attempt playing my Xbox and fucking it up. Especially when a lot of the games I have he lacks the brain capacity to understand how to play (Madden for example) or aren't appropriate for kids his age (like the GTA combo pack).
