Is that the recent Hollywood gig (the bonus disc on the new compilation) or the original one? The version of 'National Front Disco' on the recent one included a Springsteen-style piano, which was fun.

I'm not sure why I like it. I just do.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing them live at Reading Festival. But I imagine, like Kate Nash in the tent was last year, it will be fucking packed.

I tried listening to the Ting Tings but couldn't get past a couple of tracks. It's WAY to pop-ish for me.

Fucking useless. Music for people who can't listen to music without texting some other cunt-for-a-face.

The Shaggs - Philosophy of the World

One of the most surreal experiences I've ever had listening to a CD. It's as close to experiencing a car wreck through sound as possible...

Everything is off and awful but yet, it's just as captivating in a way that I can't even express.

It's true. I think I heard a second Ting Tings song that wasn't fucking awful, but "Great DJ," oh dear. But yeah, hot.

It's a 45 minute walk from my front door. I think the law states I have to go.

Ha. That'd be awesome to be able to go every year.

Who's there this year?

I last listened to an M.I.A. compilation I made. Most notably, the songs XR2 and Bamboo Banga.

That, and Dylan's "Blood on the Tracks," which, surprisingly, I never heard before.

It's being headlined by Rage Against The Machine (yay), The Killers (lame) and Metallica (meh). Other acts (that I'll be checking out) include, Slipknot, Tenacious D, Flogging Molly, Hadouken!, MGMT, Pendulum, Ting Tings, Blood Red Shoes, The Racontuers and a few others. It's actually the best line up in a LONG time.

Another question I have is, will Pete Doherty show up for Babyshambles to play?

The Killers, blah. Metallica, blah. Is Rage still awesome? That could either be rad or blah.

Be Your Own Pet is a good live show, but I thought they were a bit bigger than that in England, at least big enough to play on the big stage. Is Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly that big?

Apperantly so, they filled out the tent pretty well last year.

As for Doherty, I don't really care. The guys a douche and his music sucks. I hope he doesn't show.

BYOP should be great, I've been listening to Get Awkward a lot recently.

They've just confirmned Mindless Self Indulgence.
