WWF No Mercy Question

Recommended Posts

Alright, so I'm playing through the World title scenario. I've come to a match where it's myself and The Rock fighting the champion and X-Pac. It says that to win, I have to put the opponent through the announcer's table. My question is... HOW? I tried for over a half an hour, nothing I did got him up onto the table and none of my moves put him through standing next to it. I don't have the manual, I bought the game at Blockbuster used. Anyhow... anyone got help for me? I'm going nuts trying to figure this out!

When you're in a grapple near the table, you press C-Up in the direction of the table to put him on. To put him through, you have to use a strong grapple, I believe.

Weak Grapples work on the table as well. Some of these weak grapples include the Suplex, Snap Suplex, and all 4 piledrivers.

If you're the Rock and can manage to get a special against X-Pac (cheap bastard that he is in NO MERCY) The Rock Bottom on the table would also do the job - and seem like a legimate end to a match on PPV :-)

I had more fun with Wrestlemania 2000, though it had a very weak storyline mode.

Ditto. The difficulty SEEMS to be different for each wrestler. Undertaker is practically impossible to beat anytime, while beating Meat (lol, joke intended) is easy as pie.

Plus it has my favorite mis-used mid-carder...GANGREL!! Brood reunite!

Dude, Bossman, Test, and Henry are UNSTOPPABLE on that game (WM2000) unless you get REALLY cheap on them. anyone else remember that no selling trio?

Boss Man was getting an upper-midcard push...kinda for a while, Henry is a HOSS~! and Test is Shane McMahons BUTT brother.

Reality sucks doesn't it?

I actually liked 2000's story mode better. You could follow it week by week. In No Mercy's, it seemed like you wrestled on RAW twice, then a PPV, and it felt like it was at random or that it was coming out of nowhere.

Sorry, but reality wasn't the case while plaing with Taker, HHH, or Austin. I didn't really see the reality in them getting thier asses kicked by that trio. My point was that there was a distinct difference in facingthem as opposed to other opponents. No need for your disdain for WWE politics.

Well, at least you could mop the floor up with them in No Mercy.

Very true. Funny thing was wahen I first got it, I still feared them even after kicking thier asses. Damn that WM2000.

Did anyone else notice the difficulty change from Revenge to WM2000? The day I got it I was getting OWNED.
