EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2004 The big heavyweight bout between Vitali Klitschko and Corrie Sanders is tomorrow night. RING Magazine will award world title recognition to the winner, as will I. Personally, I think Vitali wins by KO.

Guest TheHulkster Report post Posted April 24, 2004 I'm learning toward Klit, but if Sanders is able to land that big left straight of his on Vitali like he did on his brother, it's going to be a short night. Anyway, Klit KO 9 if he can weather an early storm.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 The first round is going to be telling. Will Sanders come out aggressive like he did against Wlad and suprise Vitali, or will he show Vitali more respect and be cautious at first? Unlike Wlad, Vitali looked monsterous in his warmup against Kirk Johnson(yeah I know Kirk is no good). Vitali by KO in 6.
Guest slacklet Report post Posted April 25, 2004 I want Sanders to win, but Vitali has too much riding on this fight to lose. Vitali, stoppage in

Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Vitali via KO in 5 and the fact that this is for the "World Heavyweight title" is laughable. Sanders just isn't that good. and Vitali comes out to Hotel California.. Rock on Vitali!
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 I'm giving Round 1 to Sanders and, are they kidding with 'Vitali is more defensive'? because it doesn't look like Vitali is really protecting himself that well, his left hand is down. Sanders, on the other hand, has a big gut

Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Vitali is stupid if he wants to slug it out with Sanders. Sanders could KO Vitali, but he is also seriously winded. Vitali's defense is questionable
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 If Round 3 could be called a draw, it would be.

Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 It seems to me that Sanders has spent more time on the Golf Course than he has in the Boxing Ring.
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Sanders landed one punch in the 5th round.. and how about that accent from the intrepreter of that trainer

Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Vitali's not too bad on the stick, he's more tolerable than Lennox Lewis. As for his idea of him and his brother holding titles, I doubt it. I'd put a Vitali/Wladimir fight in Philadelphia though, just because
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Prediction: Vitali will next fight Chris Byrd at the Garden.
Guest slacklet Report post Posted April 25, 2004 HBO Analysts: The crowd has chosen their champion! Crowd: ..... It's a great victory, but it doesn't in my eyes make him THE champion. Sanders was out of shape and took him to 8 rounds.

NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 So here's the question: What would YOU like to see more next. The better boxing match which would be Vitali vs. Byrd, or would you like to see Vitali avenge ANOTHER of Wlad's losses, and take on Brewster!?! Personally, I wouldn't mind either, but I don't really have much hope that either could beat Vitali. Vitali was kicking Byrd's ass pretty bad until he tore that ligament, and Brewster looked like shit in the Wlad fight until Wlad went into diabetic shock. Vitali is definately the more well rounded fighter. I think his offense might be a little more one-dimensional or just more simple then Wlad's, but Vitali knows his way around the boxing ring and knows how to react when he gets punched, plus he can take punches, he has a chin. WHATEVER HAPPENS........PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GAWD, do not put on, Vitali vs. Ruiz...... Vitali vs. Byrd or Vitali vs. Brewster NEXT~!
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 As far as I'm concerned, Vitali is THE champion. For one thing, not one boxer in the heavyweight division has a legitimate claim, especially since Byrd has not impressed the last two fights. Any claim to the title at this point must go through Vitali Klitschko. Besides, this takes it out of the hands of the ABC organizations.
