Guest thebigjig Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Thought was interesting... didnt see it posted anywhere else wwe.com In other WWE live event news, Terry Funk will be making a special appearance at the RAW-brand event on Friday, April 30 in Amarillo, Texas (kicking off at 7:30 p.m. at the Events Center at West Texas A&M). RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff has called on Funk, a West Texas A&M alumnus, to “maintain law and order” at the event, which will feature a World Heavyweight Championship match between Chris Benoit and Triple H. Also scheduled to appear: Randy Orton, Shelton Benjamin, Kane, Christian with Trish Stratus and Tyson Tomko, Lita, Victoria, Edge and more!
Guest BillyTheStud Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I wouldn't mind seeing Terry Funk backon WWE TV.
Guest thebigjig Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I wouldn't mind seeing Terry Funk backon WWE TV. He'd be 10X more entertaining in the "sheriff" role than Austin
TheFranchise Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Yeah, he'd just call everyone a 'whiney bastard' and go crazy. Better than stunning half the midcard

I'd slap you, just like I slap my daughters, just like I slap my wife when they get out of line!"
Guest Trivia247 Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 and as Terry Funk upholds the Law and declares his 88th retirement attempt..... JBL comes out of no where and gives him the Clothesline from Fox News.
JN News Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 and as Terry Funk upholds the Law and declares his 88th retirement attempt..... JBL comes out of no where and gives him the Clothesline from Fox News. OMG! GOLD GOLD GOLD!
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 I feel that Terry Funk would continue to better Raw, but what would be in store for him if he was on the show? He could do the authority figure well, but do we really need one? And him as an active wrestler, well...
Scroby Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 Funk has always been entertaining in some sort of on-air role and hey he's still going good in the ring too! Therefore, he's got my vote.
Scroby Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 He's only there to get RKO'd, guys. Well yeah but still, I mean I wouldn't be surprised if Vince gets RKO'd at some point and Orton starts bragging about that.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 I think that WWE are over trying to get Orton over as the Legend Killer. But if it happened in Amarillo, it might be worth it.

Well, that would actually be better than the current SmackDown!. And even better, he can be the guy that won't let JBD go after the Spanish, so they stay at his place, and he won't come out until JBD steps down. And then he can come out with emotional music, and him and JBD end up hugging, and then engage in a wrestling match. How about that?
