I think it's weird that they are going to give him a bodyguard in the first place, since he's supposed to be a big hoss. And ironically I first heard rumors that he would be brought in with the Yakuza stable as fellow Japanese superstar Tajiri's big Japanese bodyguard.

 

I am guessing this item about a bodyguard will make his character more of a noble, egotistical jerk than a tough rebel brawler. I can't think of who the bodyguard could be, but I'd say Sid Vicious. That seems like the best choice even though it's hard for me to believe. Plus, one of "the biggest stars in the industry" returning as a bodyguard? That seems a little beneath someone of that stature. And you think if you pay money subscribe to the Observer, Meltzer could at least tell the readers who the "big star wrestler" actually *IS*. What a rip off.

Of course it is. Flair doesn't say anything bad unless someone says something bad about him, and if that doesn't happen, then its out of character. He only says Hunter is the best because of HHH's position. He hates the internet but, much like Austin and Foley, doesn't go on it, so it's ok.

 

It's not because he's spineless or insane, he's just playing the game. Meanwhile, if that Dastardly Hulk Hogan said something similar, it's because he's selfish and always looking to cash in.

To get back on topic....

 

Eddie Guerrero is more banged up physically than is being let on, but is taking the role of champion and top guy so isn't taking time off. He had a nasty bruise on his left biceps on TV along with everything else.

 

God I hope he's better by Judgment Day so Vince doesn't jump the gun and put the title on Bradshaw.

I remember that. When he came back as the WCW C.E.O. in October 2000, everytime he came out, he said, "This is World Championship Wrestling, the greatest wrestling promotion in the world!" I also remember an interview Flair did shortly after the end of WCW, talking about how he wanted to puke everytime he said that line because he knew it was 100% not true.
