Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted May 3, 2004 Did he say anything about the 4th Dead film? Yep, "Dead Reckoning" should be filming this summer if everything works out well.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2004 George is the man. And I can't wait for #4 assuming everything goes the way it should.
Guest OctoberBlood Report post Posted May 4, 2004 Isn't it called "Diamnod Dead" ? http://www.diamonddead.com/
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 4, 2004 No, Diamond Dead isn't the 4th Dead film. Diamond Dead is a rock n' roll musical/horror film that Romero is directing. It's pretty interesting, because they are accepting input from fans on the official website while making it.
Guest OctoberBlood Report post Posted May 4, 2004 I see. Very cool. "It was officially announced today, after weeks of speculation on the film's official website, that Ridley and Tony Scott will produce George Romero's DIAMOND DEAD." "Offers have gone out to Gwen Stefani, Johnny Depp and David Bowie to star in the film but so far no casting has been set."
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted May 4, 2004 I did actually get to ask him a question. I asked "In the Dawn of the Dead DVD commentary you mentioned that you wrote the script to be played out at Oxford Plaza in downtown Pittsburgh. Is that a reality or is that something that has been changed?" He said that was still the plan but he doesn't know for sure yet if it's 100%, but most likely that's where it'll be. For those of you(or everyone) who don't know Oxford Plaza is a highrise in Pittsburgh. So everything there was hella cool.....

I heard about Stefani being considered, but the rest is news to me and is rather surprising. I never imagined that this would be released in theaters, but now that seems likely.
