The Dames 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2004 Before we get all caught up on the idea of two WWE subfolders (News & Rumors & General Discussion), you have to think about exactly what that means. You're pretty much stating that any News and Rumors cannot be discussed in General Discussion in order to keep them separate, which is practically censoring someone's thoughts in THAT folder...starting the vicious cycle all over again. Most people like to discuss things in the thread where it is reported. So, how general would you like the General Discussion folder to be if most current info on the fed would be in the other folder? As for the spoilers, it IS a judgment call for the reader. If the show's not over for you, but it is for others, then you're risking the chance of being spoiled by going into the thread. How do you think the people on the West Coast feel about the Movies/DVD/TV folder? They can't read a thread on their favorite show for 3 hours unless they're willing to be spoiled. As crazy as this may sound...here's another idea. Have more than one thread. The OAO SD Thread (East Coast US Time) The OAO SD Thread (West Coast Thread).. 2 separate discussions (or however many), no one gets spoiled and once it's all aired, they can be merged and discussion can continue. The OAO SD Thread (East Coast US Time) The OAO SD Thread (West Coast Thread).. 2 separate discussions (or however many), no one gets spoiled and once it's all aired, they can be merged and discussion can continue. Thoughts? Dames I would be all for that, if only the SD thread was more active than it is now. I mean really, at times there are ten or less people even viewing the thread when the show is on. If this was RAW we were talking about it would be a great idea, but as for SD right now I don't even know if it'd be worth it. Didn't we try that once before in the past? Or eh, maybe that's another board I'm thinking about, but I've seen it be done before and it failed...somewhere. I just don't see why the people who see the show an hour earlier can't just be understanding in that those of us living in the USA are an hour behind them, and just keep their comments about stuff on hold untill it's been aired here. Like I said, it isn't like it's a huge problem in the first place. I would be for trying your idea if you want to see how it goes. Maybe for a week or two, then we can go from there.
