MAIN EVENT: 3PW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH!!

NEW 3PW Heavyweight Champion JOEY MATTHEWS defends against JERRY LYNN!

He fought through the top competition in 3PW. He fought through the critics and nay Sayers who proclaimed him a career underachiever. More importantly, he fought through his own insecurities. Joey Matthews beat them all, and in doing so, defeated RAVEN to become 3PW Heavyweight Champion in the biggest achievement of his career. He isn't the biggest, nor is he the strongest. He isn't the highest flier, nor is he the most "extreme", but nobody can question the intelligence or the heart of the man who now sits atop the throne as the best wrestler in Pro-Pain Pro Wrestling.

Jerry Lynn knows the road that Joey Matthews has taken all too well. Like Matthews, Lynn is a tremendously skilled competitor who was considered too small and not tough or edgy enough to thrive in a hardcore environment, let alone the most extreme city on the planet. Like the new champ, "The New F'N Show" proved the critics wrong by winning the ECW title. Jerry Lynn earned the right to be considered the top dog in Philly and beyond, and now he wants to do it again.

Jerry Lynn arrived in 3PW earlier this year with a purpose: to climb the ladder and establish himself as the best wrestler in Pro-Pain Pro Wrestling. He immediately rekindled his long-standing rivalry with SABU, and gained a hard-fought victory over his oldest foe on April 17th. Now, on May 15th, an older, wiser Jerry Lynn returns to Viking Hall to take that final step to greatness...again. Can he reach the Promised Land, or will the new 3PW Champion continue the streak of his career by defeating the closest thing to himself in 3PW? They both have beaten the odds... they both have beaten the best... on May 15th, who will find a way to beat the other?

PURE WRESTLING EXCELLENCE!

"The Phenomenal" AJ STYLES goes up against the debuting "Fallen Angel" CHRISTOPHER DANIELS!

Since it's inception, 3PW has been a proving ground for the upper echelon of talent in our sport: every wrestler in the world realizes that they haven't done it all unless they've done it in Philly, in front of the greatest fans on the planet. Therefore, there was no question about whether a talent the caliber of Christopher Daniels would ever find his way to 3PW; it was simply a matter of "when". Thankfully, the wait is over, as the "Fallen Angel" prepares to touch down on the ECW Arena on May 15th. 3PW officials were quick to sign Daniels to a match against a man whom many consider to be equally...well, phenomenal, in AJ Styles, in what has the makings of an all-time classic. Both men are international superstars with huge fan followings. Both have appeared on worldwide pay-per-view. Both are technically superior, amazing high-flyers, and noted innovators. Most importantly, both have helped redefine the prototypical wrestler for the year 2004 and beyond. When reviewing the best matches of the past 2 years, more often than not, one of these men were involved: How awesome will it be when they go head-to-head for the first time in the most storied setting in Philly?

JUST ANNOUNCED!! TEACHER TAKES ON STUDENT!!!

"Pitbull" Gary Wolfe vs. CJ O'Doyle

He may not be the biggest...will never be the strongest... and probably won't come CLOSE to being the tannest, but CJ O' Doyle may just have more heart than anyone else in 3PW. It was heart that enabled CJ to survive the mean streets fo Hell's Kitchen. It was heart that pushed him through the rigorous training that prepared him for the ring. Most importantly, it was heart that has made him one of the fastest-rising superstars in 3PW, rising up the rankings and winning the support of the fans in record time.

Enter the "Pitbull" Gary Wolf, a man that CJ knows all too well. It was Wolf who was instrumental in helping O' Doyle train for the rigors of the squared circle, but don't expect the former 3PW Heavyweight Champion to show his former prodigy any mercy. In recent months, "The Pitbull" has done his best to decimate anyone that has dared to cross his path, including another former student, the Wifebeater. Will the Irish American sensation have enough heart to survive what will probably be the worst beating of his career? Or will the "Pitbull" be the one to break CJ O' Doyle's heart...for good?

ALSO JUST ANNOUNCED!!! MIXED TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH!

"Macho Man" MATT STRIKER and "MISS" TALIA take on SLYK WAGNER BROWN and APRIL HUNTER!

When the ever-delusional "Hot Stuff" Matt Striker returned to 3PW in February, he came back a different man...a more honorable man... in fact, he came back a "Macho" man. His new attitude and latest persona immediately won over 3PW fans, as well as the lovely Talia, whom he had valiantly liberated from the clutches of Jasmin St. Clair and "Sugar daddy" Todd Gordon upon his return. No longer would Talia be Gordon's "sex slave"... no longer would she be humiliated in the middle of the ring for all to see... no longer would she be forced to do unspeakable things with Gordon in public (and even worse things in private). Talia was now a free woman, and Striker had finally proven that he could actually do some GOOD in 3PW.

Now, "Beauty & the Perv" have vowed revenge, enlisting none other than Slyk Wagner Brown and April Hunter to take on the new "first couple of 3PW" in a mixed tag match. Trained by Killer Kowalski, Slyk and April are both powerful, dominating superstars with a penchant for inflicting pain. While it is unknown exactly how these two phenols were persuaded to aid in this mission of revenge, it is obvious that the "Macho King" and his Queen may be in serious trouble. Can the "match made in

heaven" survive this TAG match made in hell?

FORMER PARTNERS DO BATTLE!!

Roadkill vs. The Blue Meanie

Until recently, the "Angry Amish Warrior" hasn't been all that angry. In fact, the man known as Roadkill has been downright content in 3PW, splitting his time between meaningless singles matches and teaming with wrestling's living court jester, the Blue Meanie. Enter RAVEN, who interrupted the aforementioned duo's recent tag match to accuse Roadkill of going "soft" and not looking out for his own best interests. Meanie tried to get his buddies' head back in the game, but the seeds of upheaval had been planted. Mid-match, Roadkill did the unthinkable, attacking his former friend and leaving him for dead. Like it or not, the new, even ANGRIER Roadkill, is now on his own.

On May 15th, the Blue Meanie and Roadkill will once again share a ring... not as partners, but as opponents. Roadkill wants to annihilate the man who represents the happy-go-lucky attitude that has held him back for years. Meanie wants to gain revenge for last month's heinous attack. No matter who survives this fight, one thing's for sure: this could be the END of a beautiful friendship.

Pretty good card, although A.J. Styles vs. Christopher Daniels is getting a little overplayed around the independent circuit. Jerry Lynn vs. Joey Matthews should be a really good old school match, and I wouldn't be too surprised to see Jerry Lynn walk out with the title although I'm almost certain Joey Matthews will retain.
