Wow this really looks like it could indeed be quite the impressive Smackdown for once. Booker T vs. Funaki, thats a show stealer right there! In all seriousness though Akio vs. Kidman & Cena vs. Dupree should be quite entertaining, and so should John Bradshaw Layfield & The Dudley Boys vs. Eddie Guerrero, Rob Van Dam, & Rey Mysterio, despite Bradshaw being a part of it. Just John 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 This looks infinitely better than last week's terrible card. Every match has potential, although the 3-way CW title could be a clusterfuck.
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 So we have what will no doubt be a squash, the usual stupid tag title match, another silly CW Title match and a rematch from an average match at the ppv. Yes, this looks great! The main event SHOULD be okay, but I doubt Kidman/Akio will get any time at all. Why is that even happening? Just looks like another crappy SD to me. Just John 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 Last week's card: 1) RVD vs. D-Von Dudley 2) Jacqueline vs. Chavo Sr. 3) Nunzio and Stamboli vs. Booker T 4) Rico vs. Hardcore Holly 5) Cena vs. Sakoda 6) JBL vs. Rey Misterio So it's not late 2002, but this week's line up is definitely better looking than the rest of the post-shakeup cards. Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted May 20, 2004 Until Smackdown gets better on a consistant basis, I am not watching. Its not like I watched it much before anyway.
Downhome 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 Not bad at all, I'll be watching. Obviously.
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 OK, I'll accept it is better than last week's card. But being better than crap isn't a good thing. The card still looks like junk. But I'll watch because I'm a fool.
