Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 Damn it, I've been going around all day saying "I call the big one bitey". Guess how many "WTF" looks I got.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 Damn it, I've been going around all day saying "I call the big one bitey". Guess how many "WTF" looks I got. Probably not as many as me - I had "Shaving my shoulders" stuck in my head for all of yesterday. Edit: Great. Now it's back there.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 Are the commentaries up to par with the first 3 season's? The Simpsons is probably my favorite set of audio commentaries up to this point, namely because they cram 4 to 10 funny people in a room and let them go nuts. Tis tremendous.
DMann2003 Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 This season contains one of my favorite lines- "Oh no! Beta!"
DMann2003 Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 Cool Josh Weinstein is on some of the commentaries, if you rememmber he was Dr. Larry from the 1st season of MST3K (and the first voice of Tom Servo).

Futurama's commentaries are better.

Futurama's commentaries are better. That's because Billy West & John DiMaggio are on pretty much every track.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 I just never really got into the Futurama series.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 I always thought Futurama was a Simpsons rip off. Of course, it probably was considering the robot's head is the same shape as Homer's.
Kahran Ramsus Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 Make no mistake, nothing can touch the Simpsons at its peak in Seasons 4 & 5, but the commentaries are better on the Futurama DVDs. I do think that Futurama is better than the Simpsons has been in recent years.
treble Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 I wish they had more cast commentaries on season 4, the only one I can think of is the Streetcar episode that has Hank Azaria and Jon Lovitz.
