They played Mexico vs. Japan's 6-man tag from last week and USA vs. Canada from May 5th in the preview show. The first was kind of ugly, but the second is good, and I'm glad I have it on tape now.

King Of The Hill match. Basically, it's a 5-man ladder match...only the point is to put the title ON the hook, not take it off. Yeah, I don't get it either. What's stopping the guy from just taking the title and running?

 

Anyways, quarter of nine, and only two of the 5 planned matches have occurred so far, and the final two rounds need to be at least 15 minutes each to mean anything.

 

Yep. TNA might just have fucked ANOTHER X-Cup.

 

Oh, and I say do away with the X-Division name. The matches are no longer X-Division. Just call it the Cruiserweight division, or the Junior Heavyweight division, and be done with it.

I spoke too son. Gauntlet sucked, but this tag match between XXX and Rude/Devine rocked. **3/4-***, definitely. Solid work by all (including the two strongpoints to Team Canada).

Thanks dude but that makes no sense, i dont get it at all, smells like a jarrett win to me. The tag match between TNA and Canada was actually good.

Jeff Jarrett came out and demanded Mike Tenay enter the ring. Jarrett then demanded that he get his title shot against Ron "The Truth" Killings next week. Vince Russo then walked out. Jarrett said, "Just when you thought you got rid of me..." He told Russo he was the last person he expected to see in the Ultimate X match. Russo said even though he despises Jarrett, he was always going to give him a title shot. Russo shook hands with Jarrett, then told him that he'd have to face not just Killings, but also Chris Harris, Raven, and A.J. Styles in a five-person "King of the Hill" match. Russo explained that any wrestler who scores a pinfall has the right to get the NWA World Hvt. Title belt and hang the title to become King of the Mountain. Anyone who is pinned during the match must spend two minutes out of the mix in a penalty box at ringside. That's an interesting twist on the usual pulling the belt from the cable hanging from the ceiling.

You're thinking of the Penalty Box match between Team Canada and the Misfits In Action. Once somebody was pinned, they were sent to the penalty box. Once every member of the opposite team was pinned (I think it was a straightforward 2-on-2 tag match, though) and in the box, the next pinfall against them won, or something. I dunno. Russo's booking.

Tumeric Storm consists of Honma and Miyamoto, they are much better workers.

Tomoaki Honma and...the other guy. They'd be out of place here, though I wanted to see them against AMW.

Ultimate X was pretty good.. *** 1/4 to me.

i cant see how the hell he would give it 4 stars, it actually blew chunks, well not really chunks but i wouldnt give any higher than ** the ultimate x match thou was good, is this the final x cup, or are they gonna do more?

The ladder match sounds like the sort of thing that you could love or hate. Trainwreck matches are mostly like that.

 

Then again, I still can't understand how Keller gave that terrible Dudleys/Evolution tag match at the Rumble a couple of stars, so I can emphasise with you disagreeing here.

I was pretty happy with the whole event cept for the gauntlet match which didnt impress me and well you know how i feel about the ladder match, but other than that i think it was a good show.
