Hollywood video does 3 previously viewed DVDs for $25. Blockbuster does 2 previously viewed DVDs for $20.

I figure we can keep this thread updated and let one another know of good deals going on.

Personally I'm going to Hollywood video today and picking up Master and Commander...I don't know what other 2 previously viewed DVDs to pick up though. Suggestions?

I can't trust previously viewed DVDs. And the one and only experience I had at Wal-mart has ensured that I will never go back there again.

As for the Circuit City sale, the only one I would consider getting is Matchstick Men. I've already got X-2, Fight Club and Crouching Tiger..., and the rest of the list isn't worth getting on DVD.

However, I did find The Ice Storm, Say Anything SE and The Virgin Suicides all under $10 in the Best Buy cheapie aisle this past weekend.

I can't trust previously viewed DVDs.

Try going to Hollywood Video for the previously viewed ones. They are guaranteed for 3 months after purchase.

Take this with a grain of salt for now, but if the DVD Talk forums are correct, The Simpsons: Seasons 1, 2, and 3 will be $14.99 each at FYE and other Trans World Entertainment stores (Strawberries, Coconuts, Wherehouse, etc). The sale is supposed to run from June 13th to June 19th.

I haven't bought any of the DVDs yet, but at that price, I'll pick up Season Three. I'll pass on Season One and Season Two.

I didn't plan on buying any Simpsons box set, since I watch two episodes a day every Monday-Friday, but I can't pass them up for $14.99.

I can confirm that that great deal on the first three Simpsons season sets is for real, and is IN STORE (not one of the rebate deals that FYE does all of the time).

I can trust 2ns hand DVDs...just not from a rental store. Cause people just don't seem to take care of other people's property.

As far as boxset and stuff like that I like Sams Club.

The commentary track on that Young Guns is very good. They even mention Tom Cruise's split-second cameo.

I picked up Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels there today for $7.50

Yeah, I borrowed it off my brother a while back.

Throughout the movie I was thinking "Decient comedy, decient crime movie." But as it draws closer to the end it just gets funnier and funnier.

Father's Day Box Set Rebates

TWE 04-77600

Limit 24 individual titles per family..

Dont ask me any more about it than that because I dont know anything. Im pretty sure you could find out about the deal by going in store..

Oh, and on the Rebate for the Simpsons discs (or any FYE rebate for that matter) if you dont want to cut up the insert for the UPC I've read that you can use the yellow/white FYE price label with the item # and bar code from the outer plastic as the UPC code and write a short letter saying the cashier said it was ok to do that. You shouldnt have any problem with the rebate.

My God what a deal. If only it was in-store and not through a MIR though.

You guys should also check out your local Ingles. They have a 4-4-$20 deal, or just $5 for each of them. They come in the original cases, with all inserts. Heck, the ones that I bought still had the stickers on the cases where they were sealed. Tonight I got the following.

American Splendor

Tremors 4: The Legend Begins

Jeepers Creepers 2: Special Edition

Damn I may have to get those as well. Does any one know how reliable FYE's rebates are? I'm not dropping $100 on three boxset if I can't depend on getting the full $60 of refunds.

doesn't help though that FYE is usually $20 overpriced to begin with.

Those prices aren't really much higher than normal. $30 for a South Park and Family guy season is aboot normal. $40 for the Indy boxset is a common price.

At DVDSoon.com you can buy the brand new Robocop Trilogy for only $16.86 (the price goes up and down a buck or so now and then, because of exchange rates...this is a Canadian site). I've order from this site before myself, and it's been very smooth. They are a bit slow at getting "On Order" items in stock, but they always pull through. This is without a doubt the lowest price for this set.
