Partial source for the following, PWInsider.com:

There is a picture of Jeff Jarrett in the Backdoor section of WWE.com as a part of the "This Week In Sports Entertainment" feature of the website. Jarrett won the WWF Intercontinental Title back in 1999, this week.

Former WCW/WWF writer and TNA commentator Ed Ferrara aka "Oklahoma" is teaching a "Writing for Television" class at Columbia College in Chicago.

Albert Gourrier sent the following:

Hey, sending you a news report about a recent autograph signing here. At John O'Donnell Stadium in Davenport, IA, where the Swing of the Quad-Cities took on the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in baseball action, was an autograph signing with Jerry "The King" Lawler. In all my life, I have never seen anyone who liked being where he was at so much for an autograph signing. If you had something to sign, no matter what, he signed it. He even spoke on people's cell phones to their friends who couldn't make it and didn't have any issues doing it either. His eyes were just smiling throughout the night and was by far the most inviting person I have ever seen. He did a bit of announcing for the batters and even lead the crowd in "Take Me Out To The Ballgame". All in all it was a spectacular night. First, Mick Foley at a Mallards (hockey) game, now Lawler at a baseball game...my personal stock in WWE just keeps rising. Oh, BTW, the Swing beat the Rattlers by a score of 6-5.

Stephanie McMahon made an appearance at a house show in Dublin, Ireland yesterday. There has been a lot of questions flying around as to weather this is a hint to her WWE TV return or not. To clear this up, there is no word yet if she will be returning to TV any time soon or not, weather it be on Smackdown or RAW. It is believed that it was just a one-time appearance for the Ireland crowd with her husband HHH.

We earlier posted an article from ESPN.com about Bret Hart, for those who haven’t noticed, it said that Owen Hart was Bret’s father. However if you’re a wrestling fan, you would know that Owen is his brother, and Stu Hart is his father. I guess that just shows how much research ESPN.com does into their wrestling articles.

Couple of media mentions:

-Today's "Sun Herald" of Mississippi has an interview-article with Shawn Michaels. It's online now located at SunHerald.com.

-Today's "St. Petersburg Times" has a detailed piece on Brooke Hogan (Hulk Hogan's daughter). The article talks about her singing career, famous father, and more.

Just a reminder, Rob Van Dam, Chris Nowinski, and Chavo Classic will be the guests on today's WWE.com "Byte This!" webcast.

Hulk Hogan was on FAN 590 in Toronto yesterday. He was mainly on to talk about the upcoming Tampa/Calgary NHL game, but had some wrestling mentions. He said Tampa would beat Calgary like "he beat up Bret Hart, dude!". He went on to claim he'd have been in the NHL if he had not pursued pro wrestling. Okay. The interviewer then asked if he'd spend a lot of time in the penalty box, to which Hogan said something along the lines of "no, but I'd be body checking and body slamming players just like I did Andre the Giant." The host then referred to Andre as a 900 pound wrestler. Close enough, right? Hogan also talked about how he punked The Rock out at SkyDome, which is why Toronto is his favorite wrestling city. Said to be a pretty sad interview.

Eddie Guerrero's special drew a 1.6 rating on the overnights, which will result in a much lower final rating when it comes out. American Idol pulled a 21.3 during the hour it went head-to-head with the special.

Correction from yesterday's report on the Matt Hardy signing in Etobicoke, ONT. It will be on June 23rd at Sam's Club.

Rob Van Dam's comic book store in Lakewood, California will be having WWE diva Stacy Keibler signing autographs June 10th from 6-9pm. They are going as far as to let fans buy an autograph ahead of time and have it mailed to them. For more info, email [email protected].

I think Hogan's trying to compete with Randy Savage in the "Bitter Old School Wrestlers" contest.

Special falls flat....

The Eddie Guerrero special on UPN last night finished with a 1.1 rating. That was good for last place among the major networks.

Smackdown did an overnight rating of 3.7 with a six share this week. The final rating will be available later today.

Since when has UPN been a "major network"?

Brooke sang the national anthems at one of the games. She is one of those singers who decides to streeeeeeeeeeeeeeetch out parts of the national anthem to needless lengths, trying to showcase a vocal range she just doesn't have a draw attention to herself.

I wonder where she gets that behavior from?

Oh, and whether he was kayfabeing or not, fuck Hogan.
