Mordecai Vs ?

Recommended Posts

Well, if they go in the 7 deadly sins direction, who would be what, assuming they all have to be faces since Mordecai is a heel?

On that subject, who was going to join Raven's 7 Deadly Sins thing before he was released? I think Sean O'Haire was one and I assume Jeff Hardy and Hurricane, considering they had a little thing going on on HEAT but who else? Stevie? Jazz?

Well...

The Seven storyline- Since you can’t kill people and just beating someone up isn’t very good, proven because they do that on RAW and “Brian Gerwitz is an idiot.” He thinks “he fucked me royally business-wise.” Since psychological damage lasts longer, he wanted to do that based off of the seven deadly sins. The first three would have been jobbers or guys like Coach, in order to get things started without bogging down in a feud. The fourth one would become a feud, which would last a few months, which would end with Raven losing an “I Quit” match. You’d think it would end the storyline but he’d then actually come back two weeks later and come in for the fifth sin. The last ones were going to be envy and lust. He wanted take a face like Matt Hardy and show him on a bar in a videotape kissing a girl who isn’t Lita, checking into a hotel with her, etc., all the way up to the shot of the “Do not disturb” sign going on the door. The next shot would be of the aftermath of the night before, with beer bottles and condom wrappers abound, then pulling back to show Raven consoling Lita. While he would be consoling her, he would be feeling on her and trying to kiss her but she’s too busy sobbing. It would come out later that Matt didn’t actually do it. The next week, he’d be gone while Hardy would be trying to find him for revenge. The week after, Raven would have Lita in the ring and insist on playing the tape again because, while Matt’s sin was lust, Raven’s was envy because he was envious of Matt’s perfect life and perfect girlfiend and so forth. Immediately after saying that he was guilty of envy, he’d act like his soul was purged despite completely screwing over all those other people. Matt would beat the piss out of Raven, Lita would knock Matt out with an international object, and Lita would leave with Raven. He’d then feud with Matt and it would turn out that Lita had cheated on Matt first and that their relationship was already in trouble but that Matt had been trying as hard as he could to hold it together. Raven booked it out to be a six month program with at least two major feuds within that time but he was later asked by Stephanie McMahon where he would go afterwards. Raven felt that he’d be made by that storyline for life at that point and that they wouldn’t NEED to find other sins to have programs on.

Hmmm..sounds pretty cool to me, but personally I don't think it's that great. I mean, it's something I could see them turning down, whether Raven does have a great mind for the business or not. Or even if they didn't turn it down completely, I'd see them shafting him and using it with someone else.

You know, I am also sure I've heard Kenzo say Mysterio, as well as America. Because that's what we all wanted right? Rey jobbing to Suzuki on pay per view. Outstanding! Besides, Kenzo will be released by the end of the year. Why push him? Better yet, why even sign the guy?

So he hates America, therefore will feud with a Mexican wrestler....

Hey I didn't write the promo. They don't have to be directly related, or even true. They're just two words I thought I heard. America is kind of a given, considering he's going to be playing an angry foreigner, and Mysterio is just something that may or probably won't be true.

Here's a bad idea, have Mordecai squash someone on PPV, let's stay Billy Kidman, and have Mordecai form some sort of stable with guys who believe that Mordecai can save them. They will supposely help Mordecai on his quest to destoy all the sinners. So anyways Kidman shows up two weeks later dressed in all White and basically helps Mordecai and becomes part of his stable. This would keep going until Mordecai has about 4 or 5 guys in his stable. Even a manager would be nice in this stable. Basically what this does his gives Taker guys to squash before his eventual match with Mordecai.

You're right. It is a bad idea.

I do not see you with anything better, the Taker/Mordecai program would suck anyways. But it would give guys some sort of importance, like we would get to see a guy like Kidman on television more often and have a part.

How about Taker beats Mordecai at SummerSlam, the feud ends and Mordecai dissapears? That sounds better than wasting months of tv time on a feud that's dead (oh, what delicious pun!) from the start.

You can always make a feud interesting if you at least attempt to establish a character instead of throwing it in the audience faces and wasting the viewer time.

Wait, I've got the best idea yet. Mordecai says he has been sent by a greater power, who wants him to save "the chosen" from the fires of hell. At first, only Taker listens to him, but soon Rey and RVD join with him as well, after partaking in closed-door meetings with Mordecai and Taker.

Mordecai then faces Eddie at the July Smackdown PPV, where he wins the title due to the interference of his new stable. Then, the next Smackdown, Mordecai reveals that his greater power was Eric Bischoff, and he was just saving the salvageable wrestlers from the hell known as Smackdown. The reason that Undertaker joined up first was that he caught what was going on due to the "greater power" storyline he had with Vince back in 1999.

The next week on Raw, Mordecai throws the WWE Title in the trash, and announces that he is challenging for a "real title," the IC belt held by Shelton Benjamin. Smackdown is reformatted, and becomes a one hour show called Thursday Night Heat, Thunder, and Lightning that is put completely under control of Paul Heyman.

Meanwhile, Eddie tries to, and eventually succeeds in getting on Raw as an anti-authority face, while the rest stay behind in midcard hell.

The greater power will certainly be a McMahon. They are like unto gods in the WWE after all.

And the Greater power will probably be Stephanie McMahon.

Sadly, the WWE is So capable of doing that. :( :(

Yeah this was done with Raven also. Remember Raven's flock in WCW?
