Guest The Rising Star Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 200 mHz, 48 MB RAM, 2 GB & 6 GB hard disks. I get to do everything I want to on the PC, the newer PC's are for making Jurassic Park 4 or something like that.
Astro101 Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 Sweet. Though I think you should up the ram a bit. Swell machine.
Eclipse Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 That PC blows...BIG TIME. That won't run most games or services these days.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 My computer is 3 years old and is 866 MHZ Duron DVD/CD-RW 128 MB RAM 40 GB HD NVidia TNT 2 32 MB The Computer I had in 1998 even beats his specs: Pentium 2 266 MHZ DVD 20 GB HD 128MB RAM and a generic video card. I can't even imagine running Win 98 on the 200 MHZ since it was slow as molasses on my old one.
Guest The Rising Star Posted May 30, 2004 Report Posted May 30, 2004 Well I have Win 1998 and it runs perfectly if you don't have like 15 programs open. The most important thing is that i can play NES and SNES emulators and Need for Speed 2: Special Edition on the PC. Wow, the music rocks bigtime!
Guest T®ITEC Posted May 30, 2004 Report Posted May 30, 2004 48 MB RAM? My PC would freeze constantly... if I could get it functioning at all.
Perfxion Posted May 30, 2004 Report Posted May 30, 2004 Mine is over three years olds: 1.5Ghz, 256 MB Ram, DVD-Rom, CD-RW, 70 gigs of Hard drive, and this PC is STILL TOO slow for shit I have. Paintshop 8 almost crashes it each time I use it. Metal of Honor and Sim City can only be played after I reboot the damn machine. The one I am buying soon enough: 3.5 GHz P4, 1gig of Ram, DVD-RW, CD-RW, 80 gigs of Ram, and it will be either a Dell or a Gateway. Fuck HP
