Monday Nights Main Event Episode #07

________________________________________

Announcers:

Jim Ross

Jerry Lawler

________________________________________

J.R.- Welcome to another edition to The Monday Nights Main Event! Were getting close to Survival of the fittest.

Lawler- Were just 13 days away J.R.!

J.R.- Already we have 7 matches signed.

Lawler- Thats right & I heard word that there will be even more matches made tonight J.R.

J.R.-It wouldnt suprise me King in fact Bret Hart is in the ring right now lets see what he has to say.

________________________________________

Opening Segment:

Bret- Last weeks return of Eddie Gurrero came as a complete suprise to me, in fact he should of come to me before hand because I owe him something. Eddie Gurrero was supposed to be in the world title match at New Beginnings but since he couldnt make that match due to Jeff Jarrett. And due to Jarretts questionable means to win the match two weeks ago, I think its only fair that tonight it will be Jeff Jarrett putting his #1 contendership for the world title on the line against Eddie Gurrero. Also tonight in the main event we have International champion John Cena defending his title against Randy Orton. Also The Crusierweight title is without a #1 contender yet at Survival Of The Fittest so tonight a #1 contender will be decided in a 6 man elimination match. It will start off with 2 men in the ring and one in each corner, the two in the ring can tag out at any time, since the match is elimination style then it will keep going until there is only 1 man left. The winner becomes the #1 contender and gets his shot at Survival Of The Fittest. The Crusierweights in tonights match will be Kid Kash, Nunzio, Tajiri, Rey Mysterio, The Amazing Red, & Billy Kidman. Also tonight in the Highlight Reel Shawn Michaels & Triple H will announce who there team mates will for Survial Of The Fittest. Also the match I talked about last week to have a new #1 contender for the womens title will happen tonight & will be Trinity vs. Victoria.

________________________________________

J.R.- How about that King! A 6 man match for the #1 contender for the Crusierweight title, & Eddie Gurrero vs. Jeff Jarrett for the #1 conternder for the world title!

Lawler- Hart just screwed Jarrett J.R! He won the #1 contenders match and now he has to defend it!?!

________________________________________

Match #01:

Hardcore Match:

Tommy Dreamer vs. Rico

A Brutal match with that spills into the audience. Ricos martial arts backround blends in suprisingly well into the hardcore style. Tommy Dreamer & Rico fight there way onto the upper deck where Dreamer snatches a beer out of a fans hand and throws it into Ricos eyes. Dreamer then hits Rico with a chair. Dreamer then hits the Spacoli Driver and goes for the pin only to get a two count because of Raven running in at the last second and attacking Dreamer. Raven hits Dreamer with a baseball bat that he brought then hits him with the Raven Effect DDT, and throws Rico on him for the three count.

Winner: Rico. After the match Raven continues the assult on Dreamer with the baseball bat then threw him 20 feet onto a waiting table below the upper deck, to a crowd chant of "Holy shit" Raven stands 20 feet above Dreamer where he threw him off and extends his arms stright out as the holy shit chant continues.

________________________________________

J.R.- BY GAWD!!!!!!!!! THATS GOT TO BE THE DAMMEDEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!

Lawler- Settle down J.R. its only the start of the show and your voice is starting to go already! Ha ha!

________________________________________

Backstage Segment #1

*Jeff Jarrett followed by Ted DiBiase storms into Bret harts office, Jeff is obvioulsy pissed off.*

Jarrett- What the hell do you t hink your doing out there tonight Hart!?! I won that #1 contenders match fair and square 2 weeks ago!

Hart- You also stole Eddies #1 contender shot from him at New Beginnings, I think turn about is fair play.

Jarrett- I didnt even get a match to be in that elimination chamber match! I did what I had to to get in it!

Hart- And those actions got John Cena in the match! Now if you dont get out of my office tonights match will still be for the #1 contendership for the title but it wont involve you!

Jarrett- I'll remember this Hart!

*Jarrett walks out of the office even more pissed off then he was going in.*

________________________________________

J.R.- Jarrett may of just screwed himself a little there.

King- The only person who screwed Jarrett was Bret Hart! He has it out for Jarrett, he dosent want Jarrett to be the world champion.

________________________________________

Match #02:

TV Title match:

Jerry Lynn © vs. Johnny The Bull Stamboli

The entire match was Jerry Lynn. Stamboli tries as hard as he can but cant even lay a hand on the much faster more skilled Jerry Lynn, within three minutes Lynn hits the Cradle Piledriver on Stamboli for the three count and the win.

Winners: Jerry Lynn

________________________________________

J.R.- Lynn first title defence is a successful one.

Lawler- I'll say Johnny the Bull Stamboli count even get his hands on Jerry Lynn

________________________________________

The Highlight Reel:

*Chris Jericho is in the ring waiting for the crowd to settle down so he can start the highlight reel.*

Jericho- Alright settle down. We have a special edition of the highlight reel tonight as we have 2 guests so Shawn Michaels, Triple H, c'mon down!

*Michaels music starts and he makes his way to the ring, once hes out there Triple Hs music starts and he makes his way to the ring as well.*

Jericho- Ok gentlemen...and I use that term lightly in your case Triple H, your both here for a reason tonight, and that reason is to name who your 3 partners will be at Survival of the fittest will be. So Shawn lets start with you. Who will your team consist of.

HBK- I have a great team Chris. After Bret Hart made the announcement last week I knew just who I wanted and they all accepted my offer.

Triple H- Enough of you wasting time Michaels who are they!?!

HBK- Well since you asked so kindly they are Low Ki, Shelton Benjiman, & Rob Van Damm!

*The crowd starts to cheer in excotement about Michaels team.*

Jericho- Well that is quite the impressive team Shawn, I must admit I was a little disappointed not be asked myself as I would love to tear Triple H a new one myself but not to worry, I'll find something to do. Now Trips, who are your partners?

Triple H- Heh, wouldnt you like to know?

Jericho- Yes I would like to know, as does Shawn, Bret, and this entire rockin live crowd!

*The crowd cheers Jericho.*

Triple H- Oh is that so? Well then its juts to bad that I dont give a damm about Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, or these damm people!

*The crow boos Triple H.*

Triple H- Yeah thats right Boo me you people wouldnt know class if kicked you in the ass anyways, and if you dont shut up tonight then I might just do that. Anyways, Im not about to reveal who my team members are tonight, but I will tell you this, we will be the true Evolution of wrestling as we know it.

*With that said Triple H grinns and leaves the ring to another chours of boos from the crowd.*

_______________________________________

J.R.- Triple H is certinally not endearing himself to this crowd King, but I cant help but wonder who he has up his sleave at Survival Of The Fittest.

Lawler- I dont know J.R. but I want to know what Triple H meant when he said he and his team would be a true evolution in wrestling as we know it.

________________________________________

Match #03:

Edge & Christian vs. The Hurricane & Shannon Moore

The match is pretty much a squash match, despite The Hurricane and Moores best efforts they just couldnt get into the match. Edge & Christian keep Shannon Moore in there corner. After a few minutes Christian hit the Un-Prettier on Moore and goes for the pin. The Hurricane tries to interupt the pin but is stopped when Edge hits him with a top rope spear from out of nowhere while the ref counts to three to give them the win.

Winners: Edge & Christian

________________________________________

J.R.- You have to give Edge & Christin credit King, Shannon Moore & The Hurricane couldnt even get into this match.

Lawler- Edge & Christian are one of the best tag teams in the world J.R. & they just proved it in that match.

________________________________________

Match #04:

#1 Contenders Match for The Womens Title:

Trinity vs. Victoria

Gail Kim walks out at ringside during this match to get a better look at whats going on. The match is fairly fast paced with Trinity having the advantage most of the match. Victoria irish whips Trinity into the corner knocking out the ref. Trinity then hits a grollia press slam on Victoria then climbs to the top rope to hit the moonsault but Gail Kim jumps up on the apron and pushes Trinity off the top rope and onto the ground. Kim then levels Trinity with a chair and throws her in the ring where Victoria covers her as the ref crawls over for the three count.

Winner: Victoria.

________________________________________

J.R.- Can you believe that! Gail Kim basically just picked her opponent for Survival of the Fittest!

Lawler- I know J.R.! Gail Kim is brilliant!

________________________________________

Match #05:

Rob Van Damm vs. Rhyno

This match went back and forth a varity of times with each man picking up on the slighest mistake from the other person. The end came after Rhyno attempts the Gore, RVD jumps out of the way at the last second causing Rhyno to run into the turn buckle. RVD then jumps to the top rope and hits the five star frog splash to get the three count and the win.

Winner: Rob Van Damm

________________________________________

J.R.- That match was close but RVD came out on top in the end.

Lawler- You have to know when ever these guys are in a match its just a gore or a frogsplash from being over.

________________________________________

Backstage Segment #2

*In The Four Horsemen locker room Ric Flair is psyching up Christopher Daniels for his match up against The Big Show, while Batista & John Cena look on.*

Flair- Dont think about all the hype this guy has, hes not unstoppable! If he was he would be the world champion now and hes not! You have all the tools needed to chop that big man down!

Daniels- Oh I know Ric! Im gonna make him pay for what he did to you, and Im gonna tip the scales in our favor before Survival of the Fitetst!

Flair- Now thats what Im talking about! Lets go out there take The Big Show down Whoooo!!!

*Flair & the now very psyched up Christopher Daniels leave the Four Horsemen locker room and head to the ring.*

Batsita- John, has Ric mentioned to you who he was going to pick as the new leader for The Horsemen?

John- Nope, you?

Batista- Not a word.

________________________________________

Match #06:

The Big Show vs. Christopher Daniels

The match starts off in Daniels favor as he uses in incredable speed to his advantage. Though he is much much faster then The Big Show, Shows power is much greater then Daniels and most of Daniels attacks are rendered useless. After a little while The Big Show finally gets his hands on Daniels and slams him down to the mat, at this point Ric Flair jumps on the apron to distract The Big Show once The Big Show gets over to where Flair is standing Flair rakes The Big Shows eyes, then from behind Daniels low blows The Big Show bringing him down to the mat, Daniels then takes the advantage and hits the Double Springboard Moonsault. Daniels then pins The Big Show, while pinning him Flair holds down Shows feet out of the refs sight as he counts to three for the win.

Winner: Christopher Daniels. After the match Daniels and Flair make a get away through the crowd. While the irate Big Show swears he will get revenge.

________________________________________

J.R.- You have to consider that a unbelieveable upset! Christopher Daniels wins this one!

Lawler- Yeah but he only won after a ton of cheating! I consider that a big mistake J.R. the only thing they did tonight is make The Big Show mad and you know thats goingt o come back and haunt Flair, Daniels, and the rest of the Horsemen!

________________________________________

Match #07:

#1 Contender for the Crusierweight Title Match:

Kid Kash vs. Nunzio vs. Tajiri vs. Rey Mysterio vs. The Amazing Red vs. Billy Kidman

A very quick paced match up, its starts with Kid Kash, and Rey Mysterio in the ring. Both men circle each other a little but before they could make contact Kash slaps Billy Kidmans hand taging him in before he even did anything. Kash laughs as Kidman gets in the ring, after in the ring the action picks up with Mysterio hitting the 619 on Kidman followed by the three count to eliminate Kidman from the six man. Mysterio then yells at Kash for him to get in the ring but Kash refuses, distracting Mysterio long enough for Tajiri to jump into the ring and kick Mysterio in the back of the head, Tajiri goes for the three count but only gets a two , Mysterio then makes his way over to The Amazing Red and tags him in. Red and Tajiri go at it at top speed from out of nowhere Red hits a face buster then climbs up on a turnbuckle and tries to hit the Infa-Red but Tajiri rolls out of the way just in time. When rolling out of the way Tajiri rolls over to Kashs corner, Kash quickly tags himself in then climbs to the top rope and hits a top rope leg drop then pins Red for the three count. Mysterio then jumps in the ring Kash in turn scrambles over to Tajiri and tags the still near out of it Tajiri back into the ring. Tajiri slowly gets back into the ring were Mysterio takes full advantage eventually hitting the West Coast pop for the three count to eliminate Tajiri. Kash and Nunzio then argue from there respective corners on who gets in next and make a deal to tag in and out as long as it takes to eliminate Mysterio, Nunzio starts in the ring and the action goes back and forth, Nunzio then goes to tag Kash in but Kash jumps off the apron refusing the tag, Mysterio then rolls up the confused Nunzio for the pin to eliminate him, and bringing it down to Kid Kash and himself. Kash refuses to get in the ring but keeps rolling in and out to stop the 10 count but not long enough for Mystrio to get his hands on him. Mystreio then gets fed up and springboards off the top rope to Kash who was waiting below knowing Mysterio would get frustrated and try this, Kash quickly moves out of way causing Mysterio to hit the ground Kash then throws Mystreio into the ring and goes for the pin but only gets a two count Kash then runs to the ropes and jumps off them hitting a Spring board senton and goes for the pin again, but once more only gets a 2 count. At this point Ted DiBiase jumps on the apron to distract the ref while Kash jumps out of the ring grabs a chair and gets back in and assults Mysterio with the chair hitting him six or seven times. Kash then pins Mysterio and DeBiase jumps off the apron pointing to Kash, the ref runs over and makes the three count to give Kid Kash the win and Crusierweight title shot against A.J. Styles at Survival of the Fittest.

Winner: Kid Kash

________________________________________

J.R- I cant believe that! Kid Kash just cheated his way through that whole entire match!

Lawler- You say cheat J.R. I say playing to win!

________________________________________

Match #08:

#1 Contender for the World Title Match:

Jeff Jarrett vs. Eddie Gurrero

DiBiase stays at ringside and is soon joined by Jeff Jarrett, DiBiase gives Jarrett a last second pep talk while Gurrero makes his way to the ring. Once there the match begins with Jarrett & DiBiase cheatign the entire time, after a while though despite the cheating Gurrero gets the advantage and hits the Frongsplash. Gurrero then goes for the pin but just as the ref counts 3 DiBiase puts Gurreros feet on the ropes. DiBiase then yells that Gurreros feet are on the ropes and since the ref saw it restarts the match, Gurrero then goes over to the ropes and starts yelling at DiBiase, taking his advantage Jarrett rolls up Gurrero and hold the ropes for the three count and win.

Winner: Jeff Jarrett

________________________________________

J.R.- I cant stand that Million Dollar Coperation! All they ever do is cheat! They just stole two matches in a row!

Lawler- Why should they change there game plan J.R? Its working for them so far! Ha ha!

________________________________________

Backstage Segment #3:

*Flair and Cena are seen walking out to the ring, looking cofident as ever with Flair chanting words of encouragement to Cena, at the same time another camera shows Orton looking equally cofident on his way to the ring.

_________________________________________

J.R.- Both men are looking cofident for this upcoming match.

Lawler- Only thing is Ric Flair is with Cena thats a huge advantage! You saw what happened earlier between Daniels and The Big Show.

_________________________________________

Match #09:

Main Event:

International Title Match:

John Cena vs. Randy Orton

A hotly contested match with the advantage going back and forth several times over. After a while The Big Show comes from out of the crowd, sneeking up on the unsuspecting Flair. The Big Show turns Flair around and chokeslams Flair on the ground on the outside. Show then climbs into the ring and chokeslams Cena, The ref then calls for the bell to DQ Orton.

Winner: John Cena by DQ. After the match Orton starts to yell at The Big Show for costing him the match. Show however doesnt care about what Orton has to say and Chokeslams Orton as well. The Big Show then goes to chokeslam Cena again but just drops Cena as Batista and Daniels run out to make the save, The Big Show once again retrets back into the audience while Batista and Daniels tend to Cena & Flair.

________________________________________

J.R.- The Big Show just ruined that match! Damm him!

Lawler- Damm him!? The Big Show swore revenge J.R. & he got it!

The Show Ends.

I was seeing him as a face. He's gone balistic in an earlier tag match and in this one against Daniels because the 4H cost him the match. He got legitimately screwed, is a monster, and goes nuts.

True but Ric Flair and the Horsemen are still Ric Flair, and the Horsemen, Flair didnt get the name the dirtyest player in the game caue he played fair and square all the time. Ive just made it so that the big show is a big evil unstoppable force that can only be beaten after plenty of cheating.

You could do the traditional routes, like him attack a woman, legend, turn on a über-face tag partner...

Either that, or him cut a promo about not liking Reno 911. That'll make him a mega heel, at least in my mind.

But Flair is retired from active wrestling in this now....and its because of The Big Show. I do love that you used John Tenta as a example though, Earthquake is the man! :D

________________________________________

Opening Segment:

Bret- Tonight will be a preview of this Sundays Survival of the Fittest. In tag matchs we will have The Big Show & Billy Gunn vs. Jeff Hardy & Shannon Moore &

The Dudley Boyz will face Batista & Christopher Daniels, in a elimination match Shawn Michaels & Americas Most Wanted will face Triple H, Rosey & Rikishi, Also tonight we will have Molly Holly vs. Jazz, Jamie Noble vs. The Ultimo Dragon, Chris Jericho vs. Al Snow, Jeff Jarrett vs. Hulk Hogan, World champion Chris Benoit in a non title match against Kurt Angle. Also two titles will be on the line. As usual the television title will be defended this week Jerry Lynn will take on former TV champion, Shelton Benjiman in a rematch, if Benjiman does win the title back then he will wrestle two times this Sunday, to defend the TV title & to be a part of Shawn Michaels team. Finally tonight in the main event tonight once again the International title will be on the line with Randy Orton vs John Cena, and since last weeks match was interuptered this week in will be in a cage, and here in the IWA the only way to win a cage match is by escaping the cage, pinfalls and submissions will not count, there will be no referee in the ring during the match only on the outside.

________________________________________

J.R.- We certinally have a full card tonight King!

Lawler- Yeah 10 matchs including a cage match! I cant wait for that one!

________________________________________

Match #01:

The Big Show & Billy Gunn vs. Jeff Hardy & Shannon Moore

Thsi could hardly be considered a match The Big Show starts off on his team as well as Shannon Moore. Moore runs at Show trying clothesline him, to no effect, Show just laughs at Moore attempts and chokeslams him. Show then throws Moore to his corner where Jeff slaps Moores shoulder to tag himself in. Before Jeff could get in though Show grabs Hardy by the throat lifts him over the top rope and chokeslams him in the ring. Show then covers Hardy with his foot for the easy three count.

Winners: The Big Show & Billy Gunn

________________________________________

J.R.- The Big Show is just so dominant!

Lawler- And dont forget it J.R. The Horsemen dont stand a chance at Survival of the Fittest I dont care who there new leader will be!

________________________________________

Match #02:

Elimination Match

Shawn Michaels, Chris Harris & James Storm vs. Triple H, Rosey & Rikishi

The match starts out with James Storm & Rikishi, before long Storm hits a Superkick from out of nowhere on Rikishi then pinns him for the three count to eliminate Rikishi from the match. As soon as Rikishi is eliminated Triple H jumps into the ring and irish whips Storm into the ropes then hits him with a high knee and tags out to Rosey. Rosey the climbs the top rope and tries to hit a big splash on Storm who rolls out of the way just as Rosey jumps off the top rope avoiding the splash with quite a bit of time to spare. Storm then crawls over to his corner and tags in Harris. Once in Harris goes for teh pin right away but only gets a two count, Harris then pulls Rosey back to his feet and lifts him up hitting the Catatonic, Harris then pins Rosey and gets the three count. Once agin as soon as the refs hand goes down for the three Triple H who is now on his own jumps in the ring and hits a double axe handle on Harris. Triple H then hits the Pedigree on Harris for the three count. At that point both Shawn Michaels and James Storm both jumped in the ring at the same time and both hit a Superkick on Triple H, Strom then rolled out of the ring while Michaels pinned Triple H for the three count and the win for his team.

Winners: Shawn Michaels, Chris Harris & James Storm

________________________________________

J.R.- After watching that match one has to wonder how much of a preview it was to those matches at Survival of the Fittest.

Lawler- I doubt it J.R. Rosey & Rikishi are used to being on there own out there and Triple H claims that his team will be the Evolution of wrestling as we know it!

________________________________________

Match #03:

Chris Jericho vs. Al Snow

Obviously this was jus a filler match to give the crowd some Jericho, since the Highlight Reel wouldnt be happening tonight. After only three minutes the insanely over Chris Jericho forced Al Snow to tap out thanks to The Walls Of Jericho, much to the crowds approval.

Winner: Chris Jericho

_______________________________________

J.R.- Chris Jericho looked very impressive there King, and the audience is loving him.

Lawler- I'll say they love him J.R. You have to wonder why Jericho dosent have a match at Survival of the Fittest this Sunday.

________________________________________

Match #04:

Jeff Jarrett vs. Hulk Hogan

Jarrett comes to the ring without DiBiase for once, suprising many people. Once in the ring Hogans music starts and he makes his way to the ring. Once in the ring Jarrett quickly jumps to the outside before the ref could start the match. After about a minute of Jarretts antics Hogan finally has enough and goes to the out side of the ring where Jarrett quickly kicks Hogan below the belt then grabbs his Gutair and smashes it against Hogans head. After that Jarrett rolls Hogan back into the ring & covers him, but the ref refuses to start the match at that point and make the count. Jarrett threatens the ref until he does start then match then pins Hogan again for the quick and easy three count.

Winner: Jeff Jarrett

________________________________________

J.R.- I should of known that Jarrett was up to something without DiBiase out there! I can asure you one thing Jarrett wont beat Chris Benoit for the world title like that at Survival of the Fittest!

Lawler- Ha ha!!! I think it was great J.R.! Has anyone ever beaten Hogan in four seconds before!? That must be some kind of record! Ha ha!!

________________________________________

Match #05:

Molly Holly vs. Jazz

An extremely boring match, and the crowd let Holly and Jazz know with very loud boring chants throughout the entire match. The mercyful end came when Molly hit a bridging suplex pin for the three count and the win.

Winner: Molly Holly

________________________________________

J.R.- Molly Holly was looking quite impressive in this outting King.

Lawler- I'll say J.R.! Oh I just love our IWA Divas!!!

________________________________________

Match #06:

Jamie Noble vs. The Ultimo Dragon

A suprisingly good match. Much like all Crusierweight matchs this one was very fast paced, with plenty of back and forth action, near pinfalls, and false finishes. The end came once The Ultimo Dragon hit the Reverse Flipping DDT, on Jamie Noble followed by the pin and the three count for the win.

Winner: The Ultimo Dragon

________________________________________

J.R.- The Ultimo Dragon with yet another successful outting.

Lawler- You have to think J.R. that a Crusierweight title shot should be right around the corner for The Ultimo Dragon.

________________________________________

Match #07:

TV Title Match:

Jerry Lynn © vs. Shelton Benjiman

Another good match despite how similar it was to the last match that Jerry Lynn and Shelton Benjiman had where Lynn won the TV title from Shelton, which also had several of the same spots, the end came when Jerry Lynn hit the Cradle Piledriver on Shelton then pinned him for the three count and the win.

Winner: Jerry Lynn

________________________________________

J.R.- And Jerry Lynn comes out of the match with another successful title defence.

Lawler- He certinally does J.R. and this means that its now offical this Sunday at Survival of the Fittest, it will be Jerry Lynn defending the TV title agains Booker T!

________________________________________

Match #08:

Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley vs.Batista & Christopher Daniels

A fairly slow and dragged out match with the exception of Christopher Daniels who was hardly even in the ring the entire time. Each man hit all of there usual spots, after a while the beaten down Batista makes the tag to Daniels, who comes in like hes on fire hitting both D-Von & Bubba with a series of drop kicks. At this point The Big Show made his way to the ring, grabs Batista from teh ring apron and chokeslams him to the floor. With Daniels then distracted by The Big Shows Presence The Dudleys hit the 3D, on him, Bubba then pins Daniels hokking the leg for the three count.

Winners: Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley

________________________________________

J.R- The Big Shows fued with The Four Horsemen is at a boiling point King.

Lawler- And it all cumulated this Sunday on The Survival of the Fittest.

________________________________________

Match #09:

Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle

Yet another instant classic from Benoit and Angle, and easily the best match of the night, which almost makes people question why an Angle & Benoit match wasnt saved for another pay per view.Unfortuanlly the match was only given a short seven minutes to give the main event more time. The end came after Benoit locked the Crossface on Angle forcing him to tap out.

Winner: Chris Benoit

________________________________________

J.R.- Another classic match from Benoit & Angle just when you think you have seen it all from them they give you even more!

Lawler- All I know is that Jeff Jarrett is going to have his work cut out for him this Sunday at Survival of the Fittest if he wants to win the title.

_________________________________________

Match #10:

Main Event:

International Title Match:

John Cena vs. Randy Orton

This match wasnt even close to the Benoit/Angle match but was still second best match of the night. With both Cena & Orton in the cage the bell rings starts a rather brutal match which saw both men getting busted open by the steel cage. After twenty minutes of Wrestling both men were obvioulsy spent until Cena hit the FU from out of no where. With Orton down Cena started to climb out of the cage once he neared the top Orton came to and started to crawl over to the door which was open and waiting for him. Cena sees Orton just as he starts to crawl out of the cage door though and just lets himself drop to the floor to worry about any of the pain it would cause later to win the match up and retain the International title only seconds before Orton made it out of the cage.

Winner: John Cena

________________________________________

J.R.- John Cena retains the International title!

Lawler- But only by a few seconds J.R.!

J.R.- What an amazing night! Laides and Gentlemen dont forget to join us again this Sunday at Survival of the Fittest! Chris Benoit will try to retain the world title against Jeff Jarrett.

Lawler- Theres the showdown between The Four Horsemen & Theodore Longs Playas Club, most noteably The Big Show!

J.R.- Plus Ric Flair will name the new leader of the Horsemen!
