Angel_Grace_Blue 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 Anybody here a fan of Tom Stoppard, author of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Arcadia, and Shakespeare in Love (Among others, I assume)? I've read his first two and seen the last mentioned, and I've enjoyed all of them. godthedog 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2004 first play i ever did in high school was a one-act of stoppard's called 'the real inspector hound'. TONS of fun, lots of energy in the writing, and insanely clever. i highly recommend it. in fact, i think i'll dig out my old marked-up copy of it now to revel in its greatness and the memories. I've read some other stuff, but don't remember the names of it, except Ridley Walker, but I'm not even 100% sure that's Stoppard. Aside from that, I've only seen Shakespeare In Love, I think. Guest SUPERHBK Report post Posted June 2, 2004 R and G is good, but I saw a version of his Fifteen Minute Dogg's Hamlet that was hillarious. It's about a group of people who speak dogg ( it uses english words, but in different meanings. For example, the word apple to them may mean flower) and they try to put on Hamlet. It was very funny. I remember reading it, and I remember some of the plot, but I don't remember my character. I am pretty sure I was the original Inspector Hound, but I may be gravely mistaken.
