Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted June 2, 2004 I just saw it again on HBO, and I had forgotten what an AWESOME flick this was. Great drama, cool effects/gizmo's, and great acting all around. What did ya'll think of it?

Toshiaki Koala 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2004 I thought it was decent, but waaaay overrated. The special effects and chase scenes were good, but the story was convoluted beyond belief. Maybe I'm just lazy/stupid, but I find it hard to get caught up in a movie when I'm trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
pochorenella 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2004 I remember watching it and thinking to myself "what a great movie this is" until the stupid ending came up. Other than that, a pretty terrific movie and I wouldn't mind seeing it several times.

DMann2003 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2004 People don't like the ending because it's "happy" and not "depressing and sad" Folks, this is Spielberg, he's an optomist (and so am I) You want cynnical, go watch Lars Von Trier
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2004 I don't like the ending because based on what we know about the Max Von Sydow character, his choice makes no sense. That said, it is based off of Dick, so there is a possibility that everything after Anderton gets halo'd might be a dream.

You know he loved John like a son, it's not like Witwer who he had contempt for, as much as he wanted Pre-Crime to work, he couldn't kill John, frame him sure, but not conciously murder him knowingly. And he was old and knew where he would go if arrested, so he took the suicide route.
