Paul Stanley Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 I have Yellow & Black Attack and To Hell With The Devil personally. You guys?
BUTT Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 Not a huge fan, although "To Hell With The Devil" and "Honestly" are some pretty good songs. I have a tape of To Hell With The Devil, but I've never listened to it. Maybe I should. Interestingly, I remember reading an article a few months ago about Wyclef Jean where he said that To Hell With The Devil was one of his favorite albums growing up.
converge241 Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 The music was great but the lyrics/singing were awful (not just because of the christianity)
Nevermortal Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 I hope Stryper got raped by the black cock of Satan.
pochorenella Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 I still have my "To Hell with the Devil" tape from way back when. I still like "Free" (what a great guitar solo) and "Honestly", but I can't listen to the whole thing anymore. I haven't listened to anything they released before or after that, except maybe one of their later pop-rock ballads that charted on the Top 40. Funny thing, I remember a quote from a review Circus magazine did for one of their later albums, the guy said: "Stryper used to be prophets out to rock. Now thy're just rockers out to profit".
Slayer Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 Horrible Even when I was 8 and a big hair metal kid, I couldn't stand them
