Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted June 5, 2004 Report Posted June 5, 2004 Oh UYI, my friend...I can handle the love of The Undertaker...I used to mark for him. But...Micheal Jackson. *weeps* I don't even know you anymore.
Use Your Illusion Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 You're just noticing? I've been preaching the MJ love for a long time here. I'm the only one stupid enough to blindly defend his every action, simply because I love his music. UYI
Guest FrigidSoul Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 When I was in kindergarten I won a Stevie Wonder/Somebody else duet record by lip-syncing and dancing to Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror" song. The other contestants sat on stage and just swayed their heads back and forth to the song they chose, while I did my best attempt at a Moonwalk, grabbed my nuts, and also did a somersault or two. This did occur in the 80s.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 Well I can somewhat understand that. I'm not a fan of his.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 My 80's was a lot different than many of yours. Let's see..I turned 8 in 90.. I remember GI Joe and the Thundercats. I didn't get video games or any of that bullshit until I was at least 10 or 11. Never even saw cable TV until around that age. When I was a kid, I played outside. There was a bad drought in 88. Musically speaking, I picked only the coolest stuff from my dad's record collection. The Fixx, AC/DC (because they were dirty), then I found Black Sabbath in there when I was 7 or 8 and never looked back.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 My 80's was a lot different than many of yours. Let's see..I turned 8 in 90.. *checks your profile for birthday info* I never realised you were only 2 months+ older than me. I always pegged you for being 24-26. I too played outside as a youth though...my parents couldn't afford to get me all the Ninja Turtles at once so I used my imagination to pretend they had been split up and were searching for one another. When I got a new one I would have the ones I already owned find him in a new location of my backyard. I remember getting pissed off when my parents bought me two Foot Soldiers while I had yet to get Leonardo.
Guest Mosaicv2 Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 BAH... the 70's was more gheyer than the 80's
razazteca Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 2 pages and No He-man love? Mr. T??? sigh Mr. T was not gay because he beat up baddies and as for He-Man well it was seen as a 30 minute commercial for toys by most.
Use Your Illusion Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 Who fucking cares if He-Man was pure, unadulterated commercialism, what the hell isn't? He-Man was the shit, I still own the Secret of the Sword, the epic meeting of He-Man & She-Ra~! Ah, good times.
razazteca Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 This is not the I Love the 80s thread its more like the consertive reagonomic regime tried to convert me into a yuppie closet faggot thread.
