Guest Cerebus Report post Posted June 21, 2004 This movie was pretty dumb. It made fun of American religion but in a mean spirited and intolerant way and did a piss-poor job of providing an interesting satire. The Simpsons episodes In Marge We Trust and Homer the Heretic are probably the best satires on religion in America I've ever seen.

I didn't see it as a parody of religious schools but more on religion in America, in which case it failed miserably. Two of my sisters went to a catholic private school (I didn't) and they told me the movie was a pretty severe exaggeration at best. *shrug*
LivingLegendGaryColeman 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2004 Saw this movie the other day and Culkin was one of the movie's highlights. His Halloween costume and his mall "performance" were gold. I do have to agree with the ending though, I was expecting it to have some different ending, but still ended the same as the rest.
