The OAO "Why was this thread closed" thread

I don't post in the WWE forum anymore, but from time to time I do go in there and read stuff. Now I'm curious as to why this thread was closed. Other than geniusmoment the thread appeared to be people disecting and disagreeing with Mr. Bradshaw's political views and other views.

Did I miss the meeting when it said "You can say something on a wrestler's opinion, so long as it doesn't disagree with or insult them"?

Because the Bradshaw discussions have been done to death and I imagine a lot of people are just fucking sick of hearing about him.

Well then...they could...and bare with me on this new and startling idea, NOT OPEN THE THREAD hehehe. Some people obviously still want to talk about it, and since this is a wrestling based messageboard isn't this where they should come to do so?

Also, just because something is marked "Unread" doesn't mean you need to read it. If you don't like the subject, then move on and don't read it. Going in to respond "This is stupid" doesn't help anything. Some people want to talk about it, if you don't then fine...but don't go shitting on what they enjoy.

Exactly. Nothing worse than having a 5 page discussion on a topic only for almost the exact same one appear once the original has fallen off of page one.

Tom, I understand that...but it wasn't bashing Bradshaw as a wrestler and the usual "He can't carry a match" type thing. That thread had to deal with his sharing of viewpoints and in return people disagreeing with them and stating why they disagreed. If anything Goodear should have told geniusmoment to shut the fuck up since he derailed it and purposely tried sending it into the direction of a thread that had been closed for being pure crap. Everybody else was on topic with what was actually being discussed. I think a thread disagreeing with the thoughts and beliefs of a man who's gimmik is "An American Hero" along with being pushed big time has its place.
