justsoyouknow 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2004 For those of you that went to the Dark Side, I've been curious about this for awhile now. So, on the "Unknown World", after you reveal to the rest of your party that you've resumed your position as Darth Revan, Carth refuses to join you. The two of you argue, and he runs off into the hills. I'm just wondering....what the hell happens to Carth? Does he just disappear? I don't remember seeing him again or hearing him mentioned, aside from when Bastilla tells Vrook that he's dead.
Guest Fook Report post Posted June 25, 2004 You don't see Carth again. He just runs off like a little pussy and leaves Mission to be slaughtered (which I enjoyed doing since she's annoying as hell).

And is Carth gonna be in KOTOR 2?

And is Carth gonna be in KOTOR 2? That's exactly what I'm going to presume happens in KOTOR 2, that Carth will return much older, and that we'll have a Carth-Revan confrontation. Of course none of this appeals to me much at all since the whole game I was itchin to kill Carth and I never got a chance to. Carth is the most worthless and annoying player in that game, with Mission and T3-M4 coming in after.
MrRant 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2004 According to what I have read in the last XBN... you don't play in the same time period (relatively) and you aren't Revan etc in it.

Nothing better than forcing him to turn on his best friend
Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted June 26, 2004 If you really want to, you can kill Carth. Just play as a female next time and follow through with his little "romance" subplot. It's fun enough... He shows up again on the Star Forge, after you kill Malak. Either you can kill him, or you can have Bastila do it. And yet I found it all very unsatisfying. Blast, I'm playing a female light side character, but thought I could check out that aspect of the dark side at that one point, not save, and then continue with the light path. I don't want to go through the entire last board just to do that. By the way, how do you do the spoiler codes for posting? I couldn't find how to, and if was tough replying to this without revealing any possible spoilers.

Damaramu 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2004 You get to do all that!? Dammit! I played through as a light side character and I was going to be Dark Side but I only made it to like the midway point before I had to return the game. That's awesome.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted July 7, 2004 I couldn't play it as a rental because I knew I would get addicted and would have severe withdrawals if it was kept from me in the middle of the storyline. Damn I was right.
