RavishingRickRudo Posted June 26, 2004 Author Report Posted June 26, 2004 Oh come now Slayer, that post was certainly not indicative of your regular, high-quality offerings.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 Well it worked once... This topic should be moved.
Slayer Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 Oh come now Slayer, that post was certainly not indicative of your regular, high-quality offerings. If I wrapped up my posts in long-winded paragraphs of nothing, would that be more to your standards?
Art Sandusky Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 Terrible. This cynical-to-the-point-of-spite crap is all it takes to impress the people in this folder? Jesus.
RavishingRickRudo Posted June 26, 2004 Author Report Posted June 26, 2004 Actually, it would be better if you just leave this thread. You're not wanted nor actually needed here, and I will not entertain the thought of starting a flame-war that will inevitably get this moved. Members who frequent the Hardcore Discussion folder -and their worthless opinions- are not welcome here. That includes CMW and Kotz. as well. Get out.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 This doesn't belong here at all. It was all ready established by DAMES that the RudoCurry "Creatove" "writing" goes in the other folder.

I have no problem with you posting this lovely self indulgent writing but It doesn't belong in this forum.
RavishingRickRudo Posted June 27, 2004 Author Report Posted June 27, 2004 Why are you still posting here? You are not wanted.

Slayer Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 I must've missed the "Rudo promoted to mod" thread
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 I must've missed the "Rudo promoted to mod" thread Well are you surprised? after getting away with his temper tantrum he thinks he can do as he pleases. Children need clear boundries.
RavishingRickRudo Posted June 27, 2004 Author Report Posted June 27, 2004 Our Smackdown thread was said to have come off like a column when Dames was reading it. Since it started out with me and Curry talking about what went on in our day and the majority of it focused outside the event itself, I can see his point - though I disagree with it. This, however, is focused on the WWE.com article. They are completely different. Your posts, much like Slayers and Kotzs, serve no purpose whatsoever relating to the article. Leave.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 I've read your original post and it's a Rant. Just like SK's. Which is something that goes in Fantasy Booking. I'll be happy to discuss the topic, but we all know you just do this to get people to react. I feel bad for Curry since he's a nice guy.
RavishingRickRudo Posted June 27, 2004 Author Report Posted June 27, 2004 How come there are no mods in here? We clearly have posters trying to sabotage this thread with no intention for discussion.
Lord of The Curry Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 A mod (CC) has already been here and didn't seem to have any problems with it. On the contrary, she found it quite amusing. Just because our posts don't fit the norm for this folder doesn't mean they don't belong here. Plus, we're nowhere near as off-topic as the SD review was.
Slayer Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 Mods won't make your original post any better
Lord of The Curry Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 I don't recall asking them to. BTW, somebody should move the Brock Lesnar thread. He's no longer employed by the WWE and neither ESPN nor the NFL have anything to do with him.
Art Sandusky Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 Telling people to leave the thread and shut up because they have negative things to say about it? Boy, that smacks of ironknee considering the person saying it. We have no problem with you writing this stuff that people consider amusing for whatever reason. It just has no place in a folder meant for actual discussion rather than farcical pieces such as this.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 How come there are no mods in here? We clearly have posters trying to sabotage this thread with no intention for discussion. could you be more pathetic? your obvious attempts at deflecting critiscm is foolish.
CanadianChick Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 I personally have no problem with this thread, since it is based on an article. Sure, they ranted and broke down the article peice by peice, but that's pretty much just giving their opinions on the article. If it is that much of a problem, don't worry; RRR and LOTC said they'll be PMing these in the future. As for the Brock Lesner thing, the main part of discussion was him saying he regrets going to WWE, which obviously has something to do with WWE, hence it being allowed to stay in the folder.

There is no problem. It's just people nit-picking and being pricks for no reason. If anybody is PERSONALLY OFFENDED by what was said, please, say your piece. If not, fuck off.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 CC. It's presented as an article. *Blurb* Rudo: *says something* LOTC: *says something* *Blurb* etc. "RudoCurry Industries". A fictional label that they use any time they post something of this nature. That's be what you do when you write a column. It's no different than calling it "The Dames Diatrabe" I could go on...
godthedog Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 the amount of time that went into this idea deeply disturbs me. you obviously want to make it good, but you don't want it to seem too good or too well-thought out. you're making a post, you're not making a column: make it read like a really good post. make it effortless, and that you don't really give a shit about it. as it stands, it reads like you cared way too much about this thing. which makes it a really good read in a "wow, these guys worked a long time on a post on a message board...that's really creepy" way, as opposed to a really good read in a way more akin to rudo's 'family matters' booking tangent. there's my two cents. it is impossible to say just what i mean.
CanadianChick Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 CC. It's presented as an article. Alright CWM. Had someone posted the intial article, and RRR and LOTC had chimed in their opinions of the article then, would it have been alright then? Again, this won't be a problem in the future, because they are PMing these. I personally don't have a problem with it, because to me, it's like posting an article that someone else on some other site wrote (like the Vince Russo thread). If another mod does, then so be it. For now though, the thread stays in this folder.

For now though, the thread stays in this folder. It'd be a totally different thing then because they wouldn't be writing up a huge tandem post together. I have no problem with it. But as Rudo said last time he doesn't want it to go in Fantasy because it's "Death" that's not true. If you write something GOOD it'll do just fine. They obviously have an audience that'd follow them
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 In my honest opinion, I think the mods needs to establish a CLEARER boundary to what goes in a folder and what doesn't. There's a conflict of beliefs among the posters as to what is correct and what is not. To me, this is perfectly appropriate for this folder. It correlates to the WWE print, and I'm guessing Rudo/Curry wanted to make it more fun/funny to read as opposed as some posters who just posts the article. That's my two unwanted cents.
Only The Strong Survive Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 That post was fucking gold. :bows:
