Guest Aecas Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Super J Cup 94. First puro I ever saw and for the most part I was very impressed with what was shown there.
Austin3164life 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2004 Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Toshiaki Kawada- 10/24/91 One of the deepest and richest matches of the 90s, if not ever. It opened up the door to King's Road and the rest of the Puro stuff that I fell in love with.

Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted July 12, 2004 A lot of it was seeing the likes of Chono, Tenzan and Liger showing up for WCW shows every now and then. It made me curious about New Japan and I looked at some shows and tapes but didn't decide to buy anything. What finally got me to order was when New Japan invaded CMLL a few years ago. Guest JebusNassedar Report post Posted July 12, 2004 My first puro match was, in retrsospect, not too good at all, but still thousands of times better than what WWE was putting out in 02 Keiji Mutoh/Hiroshi Hase Vs. Jun Akiyama/Yuji Nagata. the match made me into the big Hase mark I am today. I cant get enough of him. Same with Akiyama and Mutoh, although the Great Muta stuff overshadows "Cross Wizard" Keiji in every sense of the word. I never really got into Nagata.
