JN News 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2004 Ok, here's what I would do, starting at the Draft Lottery. Only this one would actually mean something. RAW Draft Lottery begins with the cameras in the respective locker rooms of RAW & Smackdown. Then it cuts to the 2 GM's Bischoff & Heyman. WWF Owner & Chairman, Vince McMahon comes in and explain the rules. Each GM gets 10 picks from the tumbler. A total of 20 picks, altogether. Once they're done, that's it. (no trades) The show begins with the usual opener, pyro, & fireworks. "I'm Back" hits, and RAW GM, Eric Bischoff comes out to his side of the stage. Heyman's music hits, and Smackdown GM, Paul Heyman comes out to his side of the stage. Since Smackdown won the initial coin toss, Heyman gets the first pick. Heyman reaches into his tumbler, and draws the name of Renee Dupree. A stunned Renee gets up, removes his RAW shirt, and leaves his now former LR partners behind. The LR theme stops, and Bischoff then announces that it's now his turn to make the first draft pick for RAW. Bischoff reaches into his tumbler, and is happy to announce that he has drafted the World's Greatest Tag Team to RAW. WGTT's music hits, and a shocked Charlie & Shelton remove their Smackdown shirts, and leave the Smackdown locker room. LR's music fires up again, and Smackdown's first draft pick, Renee Dupree comes down to the ring. He grabs the mic, and challenges anyone from RAW to a match. The Y2J countdown starts, and "Break The Walls Down". Chris Jericho accepts Renee's challenge. Jericho wins the match with the Liontamer. (No, I'm not kidding) *commercial break* After the break, it's time Heyman to make his next draft pick. Rico & Miss Jackie are currently in the ring. Heyman reaches into the tumbler, and draws the name of Mark Jindrak. Mark says "goodbye" to Garrison Cade, and removes his RAW shirt before leaving the RAW locker room. Suddenly, BOOM! The flames burst out of the stage, and Kane comes out to the ring for his match with Rico. Kane won the match, which was basically a squash for time constraints. As Kane heads back to the locker room, he warns both GM's that he'd better not wind up on the same show as his brother, The Undertaker. With that, he made the flames burst out of the ringposts, and left. Heyman asked Bischoff as to why he couldn't maintain a little control over his superstars. Bischoff answered by making his next draw as he reached in, and drafted Nidia. An excited Nidia left the Smackdown locker room, and came out to the stage, where she took off her SD! shirt, and put on her RAW shirt, and left. Heyman says "good luck" to Nidia before hoping that she goes blind, again. Before Heyman could make his next draft pick, "Word Life" hits, and the U.S. Champion, John Cena came out to do a little rap to entertain the RAW crowd. Then, he reached into the tumbler, and picked out a name, and gave it to Heyman before leaving. Heyman refused, and said that it wasn't a legal pick, but Eric insisted that Heyman take the pick, and make it official. Heyman gave in, and read the name. A smile came across his face as he asks Bischoff if he's sure he wants him to read it out loud, and Eric said yes. Heyman then went on to announce the Paul Heyman's Smackdown has drafted & aquired the services of the former World Heavyweight Champion, Triple H. HHH suddenly spit out his water in shock. The RAW locker room said their own special goodbye to The Game as he threw his water bottle at them, and left. Bischoff went into panic mode upon realizing that RAW had just lost it's "crown jewel". After the commercial break, Christian w/Trish, defeated Spike Dudley in a match with the Unprettier. Later, Bischoff was backstage, complaining to Vince that Heyman didn't make a legal pick. Vince said that once it's made official, it's official. He can't do anything about it. Heyman interrupted by proposing an idea to Vince by having Eddie Guererro defend the WWF Title against Triple H in the main event. Vince accepts the idea, and books the match for tonight. Later, Bischoff comes out to make his third draft pick. He reaches in and picks Rhyno, and says that Rhyno will challenge Chris Benoit for the World Heavyweight Title, later in the evening. Rhyno is elated as he leaves the Smackdown locker room for RAW. Ric Flair & Batista def. Booker T & RVD for the for World Tag Team Titles. Paul Heyman makes his 4th draft pick, and announces that it's Rob Van Dam. Coach told RVD backstage that he was drafted to SD!, much to the disbelief of the former champions. Chris Benoit def. Rhyno to retain the World Heavyweight Title. Later, Eric tells HBK that he'll be challenging Benoit for the World Title at RAW's Backlash in Edmonton. Eric Bischoff makes his 4th draft pick from the tumbler, and announces that it's Tajiri. Tajiri hugs Akio & Sakoda, and leaves the SD! locker room. Heyman makes his 5th draft pick from the lottery tumbler, and it's Garrison Cade. Cade sighs with relief as he removes his RAW shirt, and leaves the RAW locker room. Bischoff makes his 5th lottery draft pick, and it's Edge. Heyman panics, saying that Edge is on injured reserve. Heyman makes his 6th draft lottery pick, and it's Spike Dudley. Bischoff makes his next pick, and drafts Sable. Heyman makes his 7th pick, and it's The Hurricane. Bischoff then draws the name of Torrie Wilson. Heyman draws the Dudley Boyz. Bischoff draws Dawn Marie. Heyman draws Rico. Bischoff draws Chuck Palumbo & Johnny Stamboli of the FBI. Heyman draws Booker T. Bischoff draws A-Train. The drafts were now complete. Main Event Eddie Guererro def. Triple H with the Frog Splash to retain the WWF Title after HBK interferred, and knocked out HHH with his superkick. A huge riot ensues between RAW & Smackdown as RAW goes off the air. 1.Renee Dupree WGTT 2.Mark Jindrak Nidia 3.Triple H Rhyno 4.Rob Van Dam Tajiri 5.Garrison Cade Edge 6.Spike Dudley Sable 7.The Hurricane Torrie Wilson 8.Dudley Boyz Dawn Marie 9.Rico Palumbo & Stamboli 10.Booker T A-Train There you have it. I'll be getting to the storylines, tommorrow, starting with the 1st Smackdown after the draft lottery, and then continue with RAW up until Backlash.

JN News 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2004 Smackdown! The new SD! opener plays with the new cast of superstars, and it's being played to "Numb" by Linkin Park. The pyro & fireworks go off, as Cole & Tazz welcome us to Smackdown. Paul Heyman's music hits as the Smackdown GM comes down to the ring, and gets on the mic. Heyman says that last monday night on RAW, "Paul Heyman's Smackdown!" got the better of RAW after the draft lottery was all said and done. He then goes on to introduce the 10 draftees to SD! But, only 9 of them come out. Dupree, Jindrak, Cade, all 3 Dudleyz, Hurricane, Booker T, RVD, & Rico. Then, Heyman introduces Smackdown all-time best draft pick, and the "future WWF Champion", "The Game" Triple H. "The Game" by Motorhead hits, and HHH comes out, wearing his old leather jacket with the HHH denim vest on it. He comes down to the ring, and dose his usual HHH poses. He then gets on the mic, and says that he's going back to being the oldschool HHH. He congradulates Chris Benoit on his World Title victory at Wrestlemania 20, and wishes him well on his title reign, because while he may be lucky, his friend won't be so lucky. He tells Benoit that while he watching at home in Edmonton with his family, and World Heavyweight Title belt with him, he may be safe from The Game from now on, but he want's Benoit, right now, to say a prayer for his friend, the WWF Champion, Eddie Guererro. He want's him pray that Eddie will even be fortunate enough to survive "The Game". He tells Benoit, who's over on the "safe haven" side known as RAW, to enjoy his title enjoy his title reign. But, he wants him to think about his friend, Eddie Guererro, every day that he's defending the title on RAW, because on the Smackdown side, Eddie will have to deal with the "ultimate nightmare" known as "The Game". Hunter goes on to talk to Eddie Guererro. He tells Eddie that he knows he's watching, and that he can hear every word he says. He tells Eddie that he's had such a great ride over the past few months, but that ride is about to come to an abrupt halt, because pretty soon, he's gonna have step into the ring with the man who will be his ultimate challenge, period. The "Cerebral Assassin", and when he destroys "Latino Heat", and takes his title, that will be ''his redemption''. Why, because he's "The Game", and he's "That Damn Good". Suddenly............. VIVA LA RAZA! The WWF Champion, Eddie Guererro comes out in his trademark lowrider to a huge pop. Eddie gets out, and climbs onto the roof of his lowrider with his WWF Title over his shoulder, and microphone in hand. Eddie starts off by "welcoming" HHH back to Smackdown, and tells him that if he wants a title shot, he won't be a hard man to find. He tells Hunter that he may be "that damn good", but as long as Eddie "lies, cheats, & steals" he will hold onto the WWF Title as long as he can. HHH grins and says that Eddie may "lie, cheat, & steal", but HHH wrote the book on "lying, cheating, & stealing". He too can play that game. Eddie interrupts by telling Hunter how constipated he sounds on the mic, and starts mocking him by making the "uhhhhhhh" sound after every sentence. He then grabs out a bottle of Taquila, opens it, starts drinking, and throws his arms in the air, and spits it out in the air. HHH gets pissed, and challenges Eddie to a fight. Eddie jumps in the ring, and brawls with HHH, before the SD! superstars come in and break it up. Mark Jinkdrak & Garrison Cade def. Scotty & Rikishi for the WWF Tag Team Titles. Renee Dupree def. Spike Dudley. John Cena came out afterwards, and starts planting the seeds for their feud by dissing him in a rap. The Dudley Boyz def. The Bashams Chavo Guererro def. The Hurricane to retain the CW Title. RVD & Booker T are being interviewed backstage by Josh. RVD says he's "stoked" to be on Smackdown, while Booker says that he's better off on RAW, and he hates it here. RVD & Booker get into an arguement which leads to Booker turning on his partner by attacking him from behind when he turned around. This turns Booker T heel. Later, Heyman offers Booker T a WWF Title shot, later in the night. Booker accepts. But HHH takes acception to it, saying that there won't be another title change, tonight. John "Bradshaw" Layfield came out to the ring with his new look, and gimmick. Layfield explained why he walked away from his friendship with his former partner & friend, Faarooq after he got fired. He says that he's gonna do things his way from now on, and he's gonna make an impact. He talked about his financial intellegence and how he's a billionare, and he's living life his way from now on. WWF Championship Eddie Guererro def. Booker T by DQ when HHH & Layfield interferred, and attacked Eddie. First, it was HHH who came in, but Eddie fought him, and knocked him down. But, Eddie turned to get clotheslined by JBL. HHH & Layfield both double team the champion. When it was over, HHH posed with the WWF Title, before throwing it down upon Eddie. HHH's music hit as Hunter left with JBL in toe. An alliance perhaps? *show ends* Ok, I'm gonna do RAW next up until Backlash.
JN News 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 RAW The show begins with RAW GM, Eric Bischoff in the ring. Eric says that while Heyman took RAW's "crown jewel" away to Smackdown, he will create a new "crown jewel" for RAW. He then introduces his 10 draft picks. But, like on Smackdown, only 9 of them come out. WGTT, A-Train, FBI, Tajiri, Rhyno, Nidia, Sable, Torrie, & Dawn Marie. Bischoff then introduces his biggest draft pick from Smackdown, Edge. "The Hunter" by Dokken hits, and Edge comes down to the ring to a huge welcoming pop from the crowd. He wears a striped black leather jacket, black leather pants, and dark sunglasses. He takes the mic from Eric, and thanks him for the welcome. He starts talking about sitting on the sidelines for over a year, due to a neck injury, and why. He said the reason why is because he was attacked from behind, and piledriven into the floor by a certain RAW superstar. That man broke his neck, and nearly ended his career, and that man's name is Kane. Bischoff tells Edge that Kane hasn't arrived to the building yet, but he can make a no holds barred match between Edge and Kane at RAW's Backlash. Edge accepts, and the match is made along with Benoit/Michaels for the World Title. Bischoff closes the segment by thanking the 10 RAW draftees for their attendance, and we then go to a commercial break. Later, Edge is seen walking around backstage with a Vengeful look in his eyes as he is looking for the man that put him on the shelf for a year, Kane. Suddenly, Edge is sidetracked by the pressence of RAW Divas, Sable, Torrie, Dawn, & Miss Jackie. He decides to greet them. As they start talking, Sable & Torrie start playing with Edge's hair, while Dawn & Jackie start coping a feel on Edge's chest under his shirt. Dawn Marie asks why don't they escort Edge into their room, and "get aquainted with him". With that, they pull a smiling Edge into their dressing room. Rhyno & Tajiri def. La Resistance The 3 remaining members of Evolution come out. Orton & Batista are dressed in their wrestling gear. Ric Flair gets on the mic, and says that since Hunter is now on Smackdown, Randy Orton is the new leader of Evolution, and by Randy's orders, there will be a new member of Evolution inducted, tonight. Mick Foley comes out and challenges Orton to a street fight at Backlash. Flair accepts the challenge on Orton's behalf, and says that Randy will NOT be talking this week, due to his tonsiles being surgically removed. Foley, Flair, & Batista start talking back & forth, until WGTT's music hits, and the next match begins WGTT def. Evolution when Shelton pinned Batista. Later, Evolution is backstage, complaining to Bischoff about what just happened out there. Eric says that in addition to the Foley/Orton street fight, Flair & Batista will defend the World Tag Team Titles against TWGTT at Backlash. Meanwhile, a hidden camera shows outside a shower stall in which apparently Miss Jackie, Dawn Marie, Torrie Wilson, & Sable are having a little fun with Edge behind the curtain. Kane is seen entering the arena. Chris Benoit comes down to the ring to a thunderous ovaition with the World Heavyweight Title over his shoulder. He gets on the mic, and talks about what HHH said on Smackdown, last week. Benoit said that he will be thinking Eddie and his tenure as WWF Champion. But, he will not be concerned, because he's pretty confident that Eddie will kick The Game's ass again and again like he did the last time. He then started to talk about Backlash, his title defense against HBK. But, before he could continue, HBK came out to the ring, and said that as much as he respects Benoit, he respects the title alot more, and he wants to take it at Backlash so that he can finally get the last word on HHH. Benoit says that as much as he respects Shawn, it's just not gonna happen, not in Edmonton. Bischoff comes out and says that since both men are in such a competitive mood tonight, he'll book them in a tag match against the FBI tonight in the main event. HBK & Benoit stare each other down as RAW goes to break. After the break, we go back to the shower room where Edge steps out of the shower stall, breathing heavily with a towel around his waist. The girls told Edge how great he was in the shower. Edge responded by saying as much as he enjoyed the fun he had with them, he's got work to do. They both blew each other kisses as Edge left to get dressed. Kane def. A-Train. After the match, Edge stormed out to the ring, and attacked Kane. Edge tried to break Kane's neck with a steel chair, but WWF Officials came in and broke it up. Victoria def. Gail Kim and Molly Holly in a triple threat match to retain the Women's Title. After the match, Molly & Gail attacked Victoria, which brought out Nidia and Lita to fight them off. Backstage, La Resistance were talking with Rhyno & Tajiri. Conway dared Tajiri to spew mist at the next person that comes throught the door in front of them. Coach came in, and got misted by Tajiri. They all laugh as Coach vigorously oversells his "blindness". The Highlight Reel: Trish Stratus was the guest on Jericho's highlight reel segment, and Trish said that the reason why she turned on Jericho is because he wasn't man enough to save her when Christian was beating her up on RAW, prior to Wrestlemania. Jericho goes on to insult & humilliate Trish by calling her a "filthy, dirty, digusting, brutal, bottomfeeding, trashbag ho, and Trish just storms off in anger. Suddenly, Evolution's music hits, and Christian slowly makes his way to the ring after consoling Trish. Suddenly, all 3 members of Evolution come out from the crowd, and attacked Jericho. Christian comes in to join the group's slaughter of Chris Jericho. Afterwards, all 4 men & Trish stand in the ring over Jericho, raising their arms in the air, signifying that Christian & Trish have joined Evolution. After the break, Evolution celebrate with their newest members with champaigne. Bischoff comes in and tells Christian & Trish that they will face Jericho in a handicap match at Backlash. Main Event Chuck Palumbo & Johnny Stamboli (FBI) def. Shawn Michaels & Chris Benoit when Palumbo pinned HBK after Benoit accidentally knocked Shawn out with the World Title. JR & King play out the question of what kind of mood HBK will be in, next week on RAW as the show goes off the air. Author's note:Now, for all of you who will have any thoughts on Edge "gettin' it on" with Sable, Torrie, Dawn, & Miss Jackie, this is going to be Edge's new gimmick that will eventually lead him to his heel turn, leading into RAW's Unforgiven PPV in September. His new gimmick is gonna be a cool, cocky, ladies man heel that hangs out with hot-looking women, and cheats to win. This gimmick will lead Edge into a World Heavyweight Title program with Chris Benoit leading into Unforgiven.
Guest Real F'n Show Report post Posted July 8, 2004 SPOILER!!! Way to ruin the build for Unforgiven man. JN News 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2004 Ok, I know this gonna suck to you, but I'm gonna have to cut the booking for Smackdown short, leading up to Judgement Day, because I didn't watch Smackdown for most of that period, due to it's suckiness. Here's what went down, though. HHH & JBL continued their apparent heel alliance heading into Smackdown's Judgement Day. HHH & JBL ambushed Eddie on several occasions for weeks. But, at a SD! house show they committed a henious incident. Eddie was in the ring, clebrating with his family, when JBL & HHH hit the ring to attack Eddie. Eddie told his family to clear the ring as Layfield clotheslined Eddie while HHH turned his attention to Eddie's mother. HHH got in her face, and put his hand on her shoulder, which caused her to have a heart attack. On the following Smackdown TV show, Eddie retalliated by brutally attacking HHH & JBL after they had won a tag team match. The following week on the last SD! before the PPV, Eddie & RVD faced HHH & JBL in a tag team match. It looked like Eddie was going to win the match for his team by pinning HHH, but the Dudley Boyz, who won the WWF Tag Team Titles, a few weeks earlier, interferred, and helped HHH & JBL win when HHH pinned Eddie after the pedigree. After the match, The Dudleyz dove into the ring as they joined HHH & JBL in a group beatdown of Eddie & RVD. Before the show went off the air, HHH, JBL, & The Dudleyz celebrated over the prone bodies of Eddie & RVD, with HHH posing with the WWF Title as the show ended. At Smackdown's Judgement Day, the triple threat match was very brutal & violent one, with all 3 men getting busted wide open. In the end, Eddie Guererro retained the WWF Title by pinning JBL via the frogsplash after capitalizing on HHH accidentally knocking out JBL with the title belt. Eddie was able to celebrate his victory for a while before a bloody HHH knocked him out with his sledgehammer. HHH posed with the WWF Title before dropping it down on Eddie, and telling him that he can't run forever, and that title will be his for the 6th time. "The Game" plays as HHH leaves the ring to end the PPV. Other matches: The Undertaker def. Booker T Paul London def. Chavo Guererro to win the CW Title. Dudley Boyz def. Too Cool to retain the WWF Tag Team Titles John Cena def. Renee Dupree to retain the U.S. Title Jindrak & Cade def. Gunn & Holly Mordecai def. Rikishi The Hurricane def. Jamie Noble, Rey Mysterio, Spike Dudley in a fatal fourway match to earn a CW Title shot on the next SD! Ok, next, I'm gonna do RAW again, leading up to Bad Blood. Edge, who was watching backstage with his women, had heard enough of Orton's big mouth, came out to the ring, wearing his leather jacket & pants, steps into the ring and kicks Orton in the groin before leaving, much to the delight of his fans and women. Chris Benoit comes out talk about his victory last night at Backlash. His fans in Calgary love him to death. This brought out HBK who said that the score was now tied 1-1, and then challenged Benoit to a rubber match for the World Heavyweight Title, tonight. Before Benoit could accept, Bischoff came out and said that the rubber match will take place on RAW in 2 weeks in Pheonix, Arizona. But tonight, Benoit must defend the World Title against Kane. Benoit & Michaels have yet another staredown before RAW goes to break. In Bischoff's office, William Regal returns and says it's great to be back after such a dreadful year. Eric tells Regal that he'll let him back on the active roster on one condition, and that is if he would manage his "special" nephew, Eugene. Regal agrees as Bischoff tells him to go look for him. Later, Regal finally finds Eugene, only to find out Eugene was mentally retarded. Various antics ensued, including Eugene licking Lawler like one of the Bushwhackers. Victoria & Lita def. The C Man 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 I'm not really liking the whole Edge thing. The Ric Flair-style ladies man gimmick sounds great to me but Edge can't go from hitting four women to hitting Kane with a chair. It just isn't right. It's a decent enough concept with only one little flaw. I think the best way to do that type of angle would be to have Wrestler X bust his ass for the title, have him really work for the title. Eventually he does it and wins the title. But gradually, over time, the title corrupts him. He now has money, power, and women hanging off his arm. In a strange twist of fate the title, the thing he really worked for and earned, has been his downfall. Sort of like the 'one ring' in the Lord of the Rings. Personally I wouldn't have put Christian in Evolution. He's cocky, arrogant and has Trish but doesn't fit the cool, stylish, ladies-men image. I think he's too similar to Randy Orton to click in the stable. I would've waited until Edge turned and then inducted him into Evolution. His new gimmick fits the bill perfectly. Or maybe you're going to do that and have E & C reunite somewhat.

JN News 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 Smackdown! Guererro/HHH feud On Smackdown after Judgement day, the show opened with JBL coming into Heyman's office, and asking him for a title shot. Heyman granted it to him by saying that he'll get the shot on the last Smackdown show before RAW's next PPV. Later, after HHH arrived at the show to find out that Layfield was getting the next shot at Eddie. HHH was pissed. He stormed into Heyman's office, demanding to know why John Layfield getting the next shot at the WWF Title, and not him. Heyman said that "Paul Heyman's Smackdown" has first come, first serve policy. But, Heyman tells Hunter not to worry, because HHH will get his shot at Eddie Guererro at Smackdown's next PPV entitled, Vengeance. HHH smiles and thanks Heyman as he leaves. WWF Champion, Eddie Guererro comes out to the ring to a huge pop. He gets on the mic, and says that he doesn't care who is thrown at him, he will take on, and go through all challengers. This brought out JBL, who told Eddie that he'll be facing JBL in a steel cage with the title on the line. HHH came out and wished Layfield the best of luck in his match with Eddie, because he'll need it. He then tells Eddie that if he gets by JBL, he'll have to face "The Game" at Smackdown's Vengeance PPV. Smackdown continues to build up the big cage match between Eddie and JBL for the WWF Title. When the match arrived, Eddie defeated JBL inside the cage to retain the WWF Title. HHH came out afterwards as he laid out the champion with his sledgehammer. HHH wrapped up the show by posing with the WWF Title, saying that it will be his at Vengeance. The following week, Smackdown GM, Paul Heyman came out to address the title match at Smackdown's next PPV, Vengeance. Heyman declared that he was so confident that HHH was gonna beat Eddie Guererro for the title at the PPV, that if HHH didn't win the title, Heyman would resign as the GM of Smackdown. In the following weeks, Eddie and HHH continuisly build up their feud, leading into Vengeance. Finally, at Smackdown's Vengeance, after a long, but awesome match, Eddie Guererro defeated Triple H to retain the WWF Title by lying, cheating, & stealing. Therefore, Heyman had to resign as the General Manager of Smackdown!
JN News 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2004 RAW After retaining the World Heavyweight Title at Bad Blood, Chris Benoit was anxious to see who would challenge him next. He called out Bischoff, and asked him that question at the begining of the show. Eric came out and said that he was still contemplating the issue. HBK came down to the ring, and threw his name in the hat for a title shot. But then, Randy Orton came out as well, and demanded a rematch for the title. Bischoff told them that they would both get a World Title shot at Chris Benoit on the last RAW show before Smackdown's next PPV. It will be a triple threat match between Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton for the World Title. The 3 men slowly build up their little fued leading into the the big title match on the next big RAW. When that night came upon us, Chris Benoit defeated HBK & Orton by making Orton tap out to the crossface after he laid out Shawn with the RKO. But, earlier in that show, Chris Jericho defeated Christian to become the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title at SummerSlam. At SummerSlam, it will be Benoit vs. Jericho for the World Title. The 2 great canadian superstars slowly build up their title program heading into SummerSlam, as well as all the other RAW stars. Smackdown! After Heyman's departure, Stephanie McMahon returned as the new GM of Smackdown. As her first act, she announced that there would be a WWF Title rematch between Eddie Guererro vs. Triple H. Only this time, there would be a guest referee, and that referee would be none other than her. Same as RAW, Eddie & HHH continue to build their title fued heading into SummerSlam, as well as all the other superstars of Smackdown.

World Tag Team Championship Rhyno & Tajiri def. La Resistance to win the titles when Rhyno gored Sylvain. WWF Tag Team Championship The Dudley Boyz def. Hardcore Holly & Billy Gunn to retain the gold. WWF Championship - Special Guest Referee:Stephanie McMahon Triple H w/JBL def. Eddie Guererro to win the title when Steph turned heel, and helped Hunter win the title. Earlier in the match, Stephanie ejected Layfield from ringside for interferring. The Dudleyz also interferred, which caused a schmoze that led to Steph getting knocked down & out. After the Dudleyz left, Eddie regained control of the match, and went for the frog splash. But, a dazed Stephanie "accidentally" fell backwards into the ropes after regaining consiousness, and that caused Eddie to fall on his groin, and fall to the mat. Eddie was then easy prey for HHH's pedigree. When HHH made the cover, Steph suddenly regained consiousness, and made a quick 3 count. Stephanie awarded the WWF Title to HHH as she reunited with her ex-husband with a hug & kiss. JBL & The Dudleyz came down to celebrate along with the new WWF Champion & Stephanie. They also came down to lay a post-match beating on Eddie until Chris Benoit came in to make the save. HHH & company fled the scene to join Paul Heyman on top of the stage. Heyman had a mic with as well as a cellphone and a baseball cap on his head. Paul began by verbally running down both Benoit & Guererro, and praising HHH. He also said that his name was no longer Paul Heyman. From now on, his name just happens to be PAUL E. DANGEROUSLEY! He then announced HHH, JBL, & The Dudley Boyz as the NEW DANGEROUS ALLIANCE! World Heavyweight Championship Chris Benoit def. Chris Jericho to retain the title in a dramatic, 30 minute, technical wrestling classic, which saw 25 near falls. Benoit finally pulled out the victory by quickly countering a vertical suplex into a small package cradle. After the match, Benoit & Jericho closed the PPV with a handshake and a hug as the large, strong Toronto crowd gave them a loud, standing ovaition as SummerSlam went off the air. JN News 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2004 RAW Chris Benoit came out to start the show to a standing ovaition after his and Jericho's performance, last night. He got on the stick, and gave praise to Chris Jericho for giving him the match of his life, and called Jericho the best worker that he's ever been in the ring with. He said that he'll be more than happy to grant Jericho a rematch for the title, anytime, anywhere. This brought out Y2J who said, "how about tonight", but that was not to be. RAW GM, Eric Bischoff came out, and put both men in their places. He denied Jericho his rematch. He said that if Jericho wanted a rematch, he would have to earn it. He said that there will be a match to determine the new #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title. The participants would be named, later on. In a rematch from the previous night, Christian defeated Edge for the Intercontinental Title, thanks to help from Randy Orton & the RKO. Later, Edge was seen distrought and angry over his loss of his gold because of Orton. His girlfriends, Sable, Jackie, Dawn, & Torrie came in to comfort him. Sable told Edge not to worry, and she'll talk to Eric Bischoff about this. Later, Sable & Torrie tried to seduce Eric, and it worked. But, Randy Orton came in, and also announced his candidacy for a title shot. Bischoff said that it will be a triple threat match in the main event of RAW to decide a new #1 contender. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton vs. Edge. Main Event: Edge def. Randy Orton and Chris Jericho by pinning Randy Orton after knocking him out with brass knucks that was given to him by Dawn Marie. Edge celebrated his victory with his women as JR acknowledged that Edge had cheated in order to become the #1 contender, planting the seeds for his cocky, arrogant, ladies man, heel turn. Also, Jericho was isolated from the match when Evolution came out to ringside, and attacked him while he was out on the floor.

JN News 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2004 RAW Eric Bischoff opens up the show by telling us that Chris Benoit will defend the World Heavyweight Title against Edge at RAW's Unforgiven PPV. He also announces that Benoit, Jericho, & Edge will face members of Evolution in a 6-man tag, tonight. Benoit, Jericho, & Edge def. Evolution (Christian, Batista, & Flair) when Edge pinned Flair after knocking him out with Benoit's title belt. But, not before knocking out Benoit accidentally, first. When the champion comes to, he gets pissed at Edge for fucking up. Edge argues back at him, but then leaves the ring with a cocky attitude as he joins his girlfriends on the stage as RAW goes off the air. The next week, Benoit comes down to the ring to kick off the show. He got on the stick and verbally runs down Edge, saying that it had to be more than just an accident when Edge knocked him out with his title belt, last week. Benoit said that Edge has been getting pretty cocky as of late, thinking that he's some kind of "ladies man". "You Belong To The City" hits, and Edge comes out smiling, wearing black sunglasses, no shirt, black leather jacket, & leather pants as he is accompanied by Sable, Torrie, Dawn, & Jackie. As he hops upon the apron, he poses by leaning back against the ropes with a sinful grin across his face. He signals with his fingers to the left for Torrie & Sable, and to the right for Dawn Marie & Miss Jackie. He held the ropes open for his women, before stepping into the ring, himself. He poses on the turnbuckles before grabbing own mic, and turning his attention to the World's Champion. Edge told Benoit that he's sick and tired of his petty jelousy of him & his good looks and athletic ability. Not to mention, his popularity with the women. He says, "Hell, I'm sleeping with 2 women who happen to be Playboy Playmates". He says all the women want him, and he wants all the women. He says that he also wants something that Benoit has around his waist, and that's the World Heavyweight Title. He says that he will take that 16 lbs. of gold from The Crippler at Unforgiven. Benoit gets pissed, as says that he will make Edge cry like a bitch, and TAP! Suddenly, Chris Jericho's music hits, and Y2J comes out onto the stage, and tells Edge to SHUT THE HELL UP! Jericho goes on to hurl various insults at Edge & his girlfriends, until Edge yells at him and challenges him to a match, later tonight. Bischoff comes out, and makes the match between Jericho vs. Edge. Edge leaves the ring while staring at both Benoit & Jericho as we go to commercial break. Edge defeated Chris Jericho with help of his new "problem solver", Tyson Tomko, who came into the ring, and knocked Jericho out with a bycicle kick while Jericho had Edge in the Liontamer, allowing Edge get the easy pinfall. After the match, Chris Benoit came down to the ring, attacked Edge, and put him in the crossface. Edge was tapping out, but Tomko made the save, and tried to powerbomb the champ. But, Benoit countered it into the crossface, and made Tomko tap out. Edge slithered across the ring, and grabbed Benoit's title belt, and nailed in the back of the head with it. Edge got in Benoit's face, and taunted him with the belt, saying that it will be his at Unforgiven. He then posed with the World Title with his women before throwing it down upon the champ, and leaving. In the weeks that followed, Edge & Benoit continued building up their title feud, leading into the next RAW PPV, Unforgiven. Plus, Tyson Tomko continued to be in the crosshairs of Jericho, costing him a chance at winning the IC Title from Christian of Evolution. Plus, problem started for Evolution when Christian accidentally cost Orton & Batista the World Tag Team Titles against Rhyno & Tajiri. Christian & Orton get into a fight, which led to Flair & Batista pulling & keeping them apart. Bischoff announced the Chris Jericho will face Tyson Tomko, and Christian will defend the Intercontinental Title against Randy Orton. Up next:Unforgiven! JN News 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2004 Smackdown! The show begins with JBL's music playing, and the limo comes out. John "Bradshaw" Layfield pops out of the limo with a smile on his face as he headed down to the ring, and cut a promo, saying it was "Morning Again in America". He went on to introduce the Dudley Boyz, accompanied by Paul E. Dangerousley, and then, the new WWF Champion, Triple H, accompanied by the new Smackdown GM, Stephanie McMahon. As all 4 members of the Dangerous Alliance stood in the ring, HHH took the mic, and verbally fallatioed himself for a few minutes, talking about how he & Stephanie got back together behind everyone's backs, and got re-married. He then talked about fullfilling his prohecy that he gave out after he had been drafted to Smackdown via the draft lottery by winning the WWF Title from Eddie Guererro at SummerSlam, and how "ironic" it was when the "Flagbearer of RAW" and World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Benoit came down to save his friend from further destruction. He told Benoit that he promised revenge against him after Wrestlemania 20, and while Benoit beat him for the World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania, and escaped his wrath, forever, he gained a phsychological "revenge victory" at SummerSlam over Benoit by beating his friend, Eddie Guererro for the WWF Championship. He then said that he will be defending the title against John Cena tonight on Smackdown! He then gave praise to Paul E. Dangerousley, JBL, & The Dudleyz, and said that the NEW Dangerous Alliance will dominate Smackdown, and that he is "The Game" he is "That Damn Good". WWF Championship Triple H defeated John Cena in a decent match with the pedigree after Paul E. nailed Cena in the back of the head with his cellphone. This brought out the former WWF Champion, Eddie Guererro, who came into the ring, and kicked Hunter's ass, run him out of the ring, and fended off the Dangerous Alliance. He then got on the mic and said that after he beat Brock Lesnar for the WWF Title at No Way Out, back in Feburary, he put in a rematch clause that states that he will automatically be granted a rematch, whenever he wants, and in whatever kind of match he wants. He says that on the final Smackdown show before RAW's next PPV, he said that his rematch for the title will be in a steel cage. Eddie and HHH continue to hype up their cage match over the course of the following weeks, while HHH continues to score victories over Cena, RVD, and others. Finally, the rematch in the steel cage arrived. Steel Cage match for the WWF Championship Eddie Guererro defeated HHH to regain the title with the frogsplash of the top of the cage, and a little unexpected help from the returning Kurt Angle, who dragged & pulled a prone Eddie outside the cage, allowing him to regain the title. Kurt returned by fighting off the interferrence from the Dangerous Alliance, and helping Eddie win. Shoot Development:HHH dropped the title so he could finally leave to film his upcoming movie. The following week, Eddie Guererro came out to start off the show by celebrate his regaining the WWF Title from HHH inside the cage. But, he knew that he didn't do on his own. He had unexpected help from the same man that he beat at Wrestlemania, Kurt Angle. Angle came out to the ring, and said that he helped Eddie regain the title or two reasons. One was because he cannot stand HHH, at all, period. He hates Hunter with a passion. The 2nd reason is so that he could finally get redemption from Wrestlemania, and get a rematch for the title. This brought out an angry Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. She verbally blasted Kurt for screwing her husband out of "his" WWF Title, last week. She also says that if Kurt wants a rematch for the title, he'll have to earn it. She tells Kurt that he'll be facing JBL in a #1 contenders match, tonight, and the winner will face Eddie for the title tonight. She then tells Kurt that since he's in his gear, his match with JBL is next. Kurt Angle def. John Layfield with the ankle lock to get a tile shot at Eddie Guererro, later that night. The Eddie/Angle title match ended in a Schmoze, as the Dangerous Alliance, minus HHH, jumped into the ring, and ambushed both men. Stephanie announced to Eddie that he will face JBL in a Texas Bullrope match at Smackdown's No Mercy PPV. Fast forward to No Mercy Eddie Guererro def. John "Bradshaw" Layfield to retain the WWF Championship when Kurt Angle knocked out JBL with a steel chair, and allowed Eddie to touch all turnbuckle pads, and retain his title. JN News 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2004 RAW The show opened up with the NEW World Heavyweight Champion, Edge coming to the ring with his entorage of Tyson Tomko, Sable, Torrie, Dawn, & Miss Jackie. The World Title was locked securely around Edge's waist as he hopped onto the apron, singnaled to the right for Sable & Torrie, and signaled to the left for Dawn & Jackie. All 4 of them got up on the apron, and they posed with their man, all over him as the new champion drew his head back, and laughed arrogantly. Tomko stood in the ring, meanwhile, watching the new champ's back. As they entered the ring, Tyson got a mic for Edge. Edge said that he was now on top of the world, literally. He said that last night at Unforgiven, he accomplished his lifelong dream as he obliterated Chris Benoit to win the World Heavyweight Title. He told Benoit that he didn't even stand a chance, and that his days as champion were numbered. Last night, his time was finally up. He then said that after he won the title, last night, he had the most erotic night of his life when he showed his women what a true champion he truely was in the bedroom. Edge's little ceremony was cut short when Chris Jericho's music hit, and the first ever Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion came out onto the stage, and once again told the new World Champion to "SHUT THE HELL UP". He told Edge that he couldn't get it done last night on his own, last night. So, that's why needed help from that "big goof" Tyson Tomko, who's ass he kicked at the PPV. He then challenged Edge for a title shot, tonight. However, RAW GM, Eric Bischoff came down to the ring with Edge & Co., just to remind Jericho that he and only HE has the right to sign matches around here. Eric told Jericho that he won't any title shot, tonight, and that he has the night off. Chris Benoit came out to the stage with Jericho, and said that just like his friend on Smackdown, he has a title rematch clause in his contract for a rematch, anytime, anywhere. He says that he wants his rematch, tonight on RAW. Edge gets pissed and complains to Bischoff, as the match is signed, and we go to break. World Heavyweight Championship Edge def. Chris Benoit to retain the title by pinning him with his feet on the ropes while Torrie & Sable held his feet on the ropes as he pinned the challenger. Tomko tried interferring earlier in the match, but Jericho stopped him, and isolated him from the equation. After Benoit lost the match, Jericho came into the ring, and joined Benoit in laying an uber-beatdown on the World Heavyweight Champion, and raised Benoit's hand in moral victory as Edge rolled outside the ring in retreat. *show ends*
