JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2004 With so much of the great indy talent rotating all over the country, I'm guessing that a lot of the indy "dream" matches have already happened. What are some great/interesting indy matches you can think of that to the best of your knowledge have never taken place?

Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 (edited) "Hardcore Homo" Angel vs. Chris Cash Kaos vs. Trent Acid I'm sorry, but I don't see the appeal in either one of these. This isn't even an XPW bias, since I think Chris Cash is a horrible backyard-level worker, and anything with him involved is usually anything but a "dream match". As for Kaos/Acid...well, I saw Kaos in JAPW a few months back, and I absolutely despised his match with Justice Pain. So, unless that's just a bad example of his work, I doubt I'd like him today. As for Trent Acid, let me show my affection towards him now... Edited July 12, 2004 by Phoenix Fury Legdrop
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 Necro Butcher v. Low Ki um.. nevermind.. i'm not totally in tune to know the matches that haven't happened, but I bet there are some
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 Hey, if Chris Hero faced Necro Butcher before, why not Low Ki? For some reason I think that match would be disturbingly interesting. Not as interesting as a drunken deathmatch, mind you...but interesting.
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 I'd imagine that Necro wouldn't mind Low Ki kicking him

As for Trent Acid, let me show my affection towards him now... No offense taken, or anything. I also don't like Cash usually, but his matches with Sonjay, Ruckus, Derek Frazier, and a few others I've liked. I can't really argue with you...I don't like Cash much either. There's just something about the match that makes me wanna see it, sorta. I can't really put my finger on it as to what. I would like to see Acid vs. Kaos. Kaos has a new fire lit under his ass. His JAPW match...I haven't seen it and I can't act like I have, and judging by what almost everyone has said, it was pure shit...but don't let that get you down on the guy. Regardless of what some people will tell you, Kaos CAN go. His matches with Hamrick, Doring, and ESPECIALLY Juvi were very good. There's a reason why New Japan was negotiating to bring him in as a developmental talent. The guy's got losts of potential, and his charisma is bright as can be. Acid and he have similar gimmicks, both of which are based on over-the-top arrogance. Both guys come from similar backgrounds and were pushed as the RVD of their respective promotions. Acid has had fantastic matches with Homicide as of late and I'm the first to admit - he can look awkward in the ring, especially when going up against big guys - but he's very solid when he wants to. I'd want to see it not just because of the similarity in styles, but also in gimmicks.
