Scroby 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 How did RVD get Velocity duty again? Hmm oh well, I guess it makes sense since he really isn't in a program right now and HEY Paul London on Smackdown twice, maybe the Crusierweight program is coming into shape? Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 1) Rey Misterio and Spike Dudley vs. Chavo Guerrero and Jamie Knoble...looks good enough. 2) John Cena vs. Booker T, Rene Dupree, and Kenzo Suzuki...cause handicap matches booked by the evil GM are ALWAYS GREAT! 3) Paul London vs. D-Von Dudley...WHOO! London tv time! 4) JBL vs. Eddie in the cage for the title...I know they'll screw this. But looks good on paper
Only The Strong Survive 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 I was at the show in Providence, and I think you guys will be pleasantly surprised with the quality of the matches. The crowd was insanely hot all night long.
JHawk 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 Does anybody else find it fucked up that Velocity has as many matches as SmackDown when it's half as long? Did they give the cage match 45 minutes or something?
Scroby 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 Jhawk you forget its WWE, when a whole two hours can consit of only 3 matches at a time. I find it worse that Impact could put on 5 or 6 matches in a hour while Raw or Smackdown could have less in their two hour slot.
Guest Staravenger Report post Posted July 14, 2004 In non-spoiler lingo: On paper everything except the Handicap Match looks fine. Eddie proved he can drag a *** match out of Bradshaw in a hardcore match, the CW Tag could be good if Spike doesn't suck too much, and Paul London on SD is an automatic point. iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2004 The reason Impact can do six matches in an hour is that none of them last longer than five of six minutes. The cage match will probably take longer than all the wrestling on Impact last week combined.
