Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted July 17, 2004 - Jeff Jarrett was extremely upset with Jeremy Borash and the production crew last night for not announcing the time remaining towards the end of the America's Most Wanted vs. Kazarian and Michael Shane match. Jarrett went as far as to blame Borash for ruining the finish to the match. Upon further inspection, it turned out that the error was the production crew's fault since Borash's mic wasn't working at the end of the match. - Jarrett also got upset with the wrestlers in general for often going under their scheduled match times and thus ruining the running time for the show. He also got on them about not being able to improvise in the ring. - Many continue to question the use of "Irish" Pat Kenney. Most did not think that changing his name from Simon Diamond was a good idea, and Kenney has seen his career hit somewhat of a brick wall since the name change. - Vito and Trinity have had some heat between them lately. Word is that both are similar in that they act a little too self confident and stubborn, and this has led to some heated discussions between the two. Management has sorted out the situation though. - At this point, TNA management is now planning to use the Kid Kash controversy as the springboard to an angle. TNA will air a backstage interview with Kash next week. Credit: PWInsider.com I don't think anyone's surprised to see that Kid Kash wasn't really gone from the promotion or wouldn't stay gone. I can also see why Big Vito doesn't work very much since he's only been there about a month and he's already pissed a lot of people off. Hopefully management has told him to keep his mouth shut. Magus 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2004 -Simon Diamond could make the Irish gimmick work. they just haven't really given him a chance. teaming him up with Siaki and fueding against TNA's running joke, the NYC? that wasn't a good place to start, and if the Pat Kenney character isn't working, its because the guys in charge haven't given him a good role. maybe this'll change and he can go over Vito. Vito will be out of the company eventually anyway, so let Pat take him down. -i'm not surprised that they're using Kash's situation as an angle. i'm GLAD they're doing it. Kash is a good hand to have despite his attitude. hopefully we'll still get to see Kash vs. Styles for the X Division title. -Jeff's going crazy. this news of him getting upset at everyone sounds like tabloid news. but if it IS true, its just proof that Jeff should stop working as head booker. he's already a big character on the show and handles a lot of TNA's business dealings. doing all that and also dealing with the actual creative direction of the company is making him neurotic. Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2004 Jeff should not berate anybody for not being able to improvise, considering he has Ric Flair Syndrome: all of his matches are the fucking same, and around the same quality. I say again: FUCK JEFF JARRETT.
Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted July 17, 2004 Comparing Jarrett to Flair in any sort of way is borderline retarded Laz. At least Flair's repetitive matches were useually four star affiars...
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2004 It's still a valid comparison. They both do the exact same things in each match. The only big difference is that the fans ate it up, and continue to do so, for Flair. For Jarrett? They get bored.
Guest Donners Report post Posted July 17, 2004 I think you're becoming the Jeff Jarrett of posting then... Some more news: -Hector Garza has caused some controversy between AAA and TNA. Garza left AAA recently and has continued to work for TNA. Garza told Jeff Jarrett that he quit AAA because AAA head Antonio Pena was not paying him on time for his TNA and Japan appearances. Jarrett told Garza he would continue to book him despite the fact that TNA has had a working relationship with AAA. Jarrett was also upset by the fact that Pena did not send the two mini wrestlers that he had requested for the TNA second anniversary show. - Pena was backstage at the Impact! taping this week soothing things over with Jeff Jarrett. Things seem to have gone well to the point that TNA may quit using Hector Garza. TNA and AAA could also start promoting joint shows in Los Angeles and San Diego. - Juventud Guerrera has been pushing heavily to get back on TNA. Guerrera upset management last year when he worked stiff, did not protect other wrestlers, and complained about jobbing. So if we join the dots...Juvi to replace Hector Garza on Team Mexico? An improvement, IMO.
Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted July 19, 2004 I'd rather see Negro replaced, and keep Garza. But you take what you can get, I guess.
Guest The Ultimate Fantasy Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Hey does Tony Mamaluke still wrestle? If so TNA should bring him in as tag partners with Vito.
Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Mamaluke works at the New Japan (Inoki) Dojo, last I heard.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Yeah. Abismo Negro is the worst member of Team Mexico (which is sad, because they all suck completely except for Garza). Juventud Guerrera was the best member of Team Mexico before visa problems occurred. Fix the visa problems, bring Juvi in, and kick Abismo out. It's not as if the hardcore Abismo Negro fans will be mad...
Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted July 19, 2004 I wasn't aware he had fans period... I mean, I have seen him hit ONE good move, and that was teh head drop slam on Sabin, and that was EONS ago.

Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted July 20, 2004 Jeff Jarrett was extremely upset with Jeremy Borash and the production crew last night for not announcing the time remaining towards the end of the America's Most Wanted vs. Kazarian and Michael Shane match. Jarrett went as far as to blame Borash for ruining the finish to the match. Upon further inspection, it turned out that the error was the production crew's fault since Borash's mic wasn't working at the end of the match. First off, where the fuck does JJ get off? The match was mediocre and the only thing that ruined the match was the TEN MINUTE time limit. Those guys can't work their type of match in only ten minutes. If Jarrett is going to go off on someone.....he should go off on himself for the guitar on a pole match that we had to suffer through on last weeks show.....and it was easily the WORST match of the show. - Jarrett also got upset with the wrestlers in general for often going under their scheduled match times and thus ruining the running time for the show. He also got on them about not being able to improvise in the ring. SERIOUSLY.......this is Jarrett saying this....right? - Many continue to question the use of "Irish" Pat Kenney. Most did not think that changing his name from Simon Diamond was a good idea, and Kenney has seen his career hit somewhat of a brick wall since the name change. Geeze......TNA brings in Kenney and they took away from him the only thing he had.....A NAME. He could have been capitalized on from his ECW days....but NOOOOOO. They fumbled this one terribly and they continue not to realize that they fucked up....... - Vito and Trinity have had some heat between them lately. Word is that both are similar in that they act a little too self confident and stubborn, and this has led to some heated discussions between the two. Management has sorted out the situation though. Seriously get rid of both of them. Trinity is a barely capable performer who's best work was against Kash....and it won't get any better. Also, why all the Vito love? What has he done? GET RID OF HIM. Who cares, they don't need him and apparently he's more trouble than he's worth. - At this point, TNA management is now planning to use the Kid Kash controversy as the springboard to an angle. TNA will air a backstage interview with Kash next week. If anyone read the last Observer they speak about this. Basically, he is working the boys too which usually goes over TERRIBLE as in a business that nobody trusts each other, they boys don't like to be worked........ Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted July 20, 2004 Wow, DK is in a bad mood. And anyway, I agree, get rid of Vito, Trinity and go ahead and dump Kash too. Headaches are the last thing TNA needs in the locker room. There are a TON of guys on the indy scene who can do what Kash does, and do it for cheaper and less trouble backstage. TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2004 It's interesting to me that before the 2nd mod request, everyone seemed so positive on TNA, but since then, we're just honest. I like them both, but I wonder what happened to change that, since the 2nd mod request did absolutely nothing to what we think of the product.
Guest whitemilesdavis Report post Posted July 20, 2004 I personally don't care if someone is a jerk backstage. I think Vito is entertaining, and therefore worth keeping. Same goes for Kash. They are the ones who have to face their fellow empoyees each day, not me. It's not my concern until they walk through the curtain.
