Guest Coffey Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Why would he be joking? I agree with him actually. A-Train isn't as bad as people try to make him out to be. He really shouldn't get as much negative critism as he does...especially when you take into account his placement on the card (which is pretty non-existant nowadays) and all the BS that he's had to endure (Hip Hop Hippo anyone?). Yeah, he's another WWE hoss, but he doesn't fit the stereotypical mold of hoss. He has his own moveset as opposed to the WWE standardized hoss moveset of Chokeslam, Powerbomb, Bearhug, Sidewalk Slam, Big Boot. You can tell that A-Train works hard when he's in the ring too. He's always running at full speed and doing his best to entertain people. That's all you can ask for from the guy. He hasn't been in the business fifteen years like a lot of other people.... iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 A-Train's an excellent heel, and the crowd really enjoys ragging on him, so he's not usually in danger of getting X-Pac heat. I think if they gave him a decent gimmick as Bischoff's enforcer or something, he could easily become the #3 or #4 heel on Raw.
Crimson G 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 I agree with all the pro-A-Train arguments. He's far from the worst guy on the roster, and is probably one of the better big men in the company. I'd go as far as to say A-Train > Kane. Come to think of it, why isn't Kane on this list? He hasn't been over enough to warrant his constant push since his return from SMW. He does the same three moves in every match and, other than that, basically just stalks his opponents around the ring now. Does anyone actually take him seriously anymore? He's had about a million main event pushes (or one constant one, depending on how you view it) and has held the WWF title for 1 day.
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 Except Kane stays over no matter what happens. Advantage over all the other guys.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2004 "A-Train has had to put up with so much BS" "A-Train is an excellent heel" I guess the "injustice marks" here had to pick a new favorite after Eddie and Benoit got "through the glass ceiling"... But A-Train. That's hilarious. I hope WWE reads this thread.

Truly they should because during his match against Jericho, I marked out like a sad little bitch and shouted A-Train like 72 times and when he lost I shouted "There is no God" and almost cried. Plus a A-Train push would be alot better than Tyson Tomko or some other "green" OVW wrestler.

Yeah but he's also very charismatic, backed by a familar deep storyline, and never really loses his heat even after such horrors like Katie Vick and the recent storyline with Lita. If you think about it, Kane is like the Jericho Hoss except without storylines and a constant push. The Hellfire Reel?
