Question about Mean Gene Okerlund.

Is he still employed by the WWE. I know that ever since Confidential ended, I haven't seen his face on television. Yet again, I hardly watch any wrestling on Saturdays, so I wouldn't be exactly sure. I miss him as a backstage interviewer. They should bring Heenan back as well, even if it was for one of the weekend programs.

He'd be great for a narrator for future DVDs, the 24/7, and maybe even bringing him back as a backstage commentator on Smackdown or something.

Coach is much better as a heel commatator then a narrator.

Last I heard, Mean Gene shot a bunch of people, then he turned around, said "Aw, fuck it." and turned the gun on himself.

 

Or he's just been off TV. I'm not sure; could be either one.

Mean Gene should be an interviewer on one of the shows, raw or smackdown. Also, as a change between shows one show should have the guys come out like normal to give interviews while the other has Gene interviewing guys from the ring like in WCW.
