the max Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 Get a skip doctor http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...ronics&n=507846
AndrewTS Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 The best way to do it is to find a rental store that has a resurfacing machine. They'll usually charge a small fee but it almost always works, they'll give you the money back if it doesn't work (usually, ask if unsure), and it looks almost brand new. Skipdoctor may work, but it makes your CD look like crap. There are cheap kits that can fix small scratches; they're a cloth with a small pouch of goo. They're really cheap but if the scratches aren't extremely minor they won't help much.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 If it's anythign serious, buy a new CD. I've heard Skipdoctors do more harm than help
Guest I'm That Damn Zzzzz Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 Polish it lightly with Brasso or other brass cleaner, in a back and forth motion from the center of the disk to the edge, don't use a circular motion. If the label is damaged, the cd is probably ruined.
