Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2004 I was thinking about buying the Freaks & Geeks DVD set at Best Buy before going to IWA tomorrow, but I was wanting to get a second opinion on them. So, to anyone who has them, are they worth buying?
Mole 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2004 YES, this is defietnly worth a buy. This is one of the best shows I have ever saw and it is too bad it was canceled. Plus the fact there are 29 commentaries makes it even better. Everything about this show is great. And the feel of the show is something that I have never seen before. It is a single camera comedy, with the feel of a early 80's NBC show. Well that is what Paul Feig was going for, but it worked out great. Get it, A+ from me. Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2004 Go for it. It was one of the few shows I watched every week, even if it was only for a year. I loved the show so much I opted to get the eight-disc Yearbook Edition when the DVDs were released.
Guest AndVen Report post Posted July 31, 2004 As someone who've only seen it sparingly. Does the show's run end very abruptly (sp?) with a bunch of unanswered questions? Is it recommendable, based on the above?
