Eclipse 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2004 Well, as I see tonight's Cartoon Network lineup, at 12AM Eastern Time (ATHF's usual timeslot) has been taken up by Sealab 2021. Some anime like Inuyasha has moved up as well. Why the sudden change? Maybe cleaning up since they were showing re-runs of ATHF.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2004 They're rotating the line-up to keep it "fresh." I expect ATHF to be only on weekends until they have a bunch of new episodes ready.
Golgo 13 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2004 It's nothing different than what AS usually does, in keeping a schedule for a few months, then changing it up. Anyway, it's not as if ATHF is gone from the schedule permanently. In fact, I think new episodes start up soon, but I'm not sure. AS hasn't started for me yet, but my guide says all the anime is staying where it usually is ever since Inuyasha and Lupin came back to weekday rotation a few weeks ago. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2004 Yeah. It's only ATHF and Sea Lab switching for now. I wish the anime was on earlier, but since it is summer I won't complain too much. The only problem is that Inuyasha is still showing a bunch of old episodes. However, I hear the series is still running in Japan and they STILL haven't killed Naraku. I'd like for them to show the Justice League episodes on weekdays though, since they have two full seasons of material to run.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted August 3, 2004 are they showing the good first season Sealabs or the crappy rest of the Sealabs?
Golgo 13 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2004 They're probably gonna show random episodes. However, I hear the series is still running in Japan and they STILL haven't killed Naraku. Inuyasha is ending next month in Japan, apparently. Hopefully they'll take care of Naraku then and wrap up everything. Although the manga itself is still a few volumes away from ending, so I don't know how they'll be able to swing that.
Scroby 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2004 I know ATHF is on Sundays at Midnight still, with the Brak show following. New Episodes air in two weeks on Sunday the 15th (woot woot).
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2004 They need to show Sealab more often to promote the DVD. And tonight they showed episodes 2 and 3, and tomorrow night they're showing episodes 1 and 4. Hopefully after that they stick to the actual order.
Scroby 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2004 As long as they show the Bizarro epidsode, I'm happy.
Eclipse 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2004 Hmmm, it says that the FINAL episode of ATHF will be airing August 15th. Are they indeed ending the show? Or is the commercial I saw some sort of curveball.... EDIT: And yes, they are. Some sites are reporting that is the season premiere of it all. Also, some sites have schedules of Adult Swim with new eps into October. Looks like the first new episode will feature an appearance by the Mooninites. Golgo 13 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2004 It was a big, hilarious joke. The Adult Swim forums went absolutely nuts when they saw the "Final Episode" commercials.
Eclipse 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2004 I could imagine them going crazy, LOL. But, supposedly, that has happened before with Adult Swim. I was questioning the validity of it, but man was I pissed. I was like..."THEY JUST MADE VOL 2! VOLUME 2!"
Crimson G 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2004 This has nothing to do with ATHF or Sealab, but Futurama was hilarious last night. Evil Santa: You've all been very naughty... (they all cower in fear) Evil Santa: Except you Dr. Zoidberg. Here's a pogo stick. Zoidberg: Yippee! (he starts bouncing around the room as they all still cower)
