Bossman's Mother

I've been watching some old WWF tapes from the early 90's recently and on the commentary of a few mentions have been made about Bobby Heenan making comments about Big Bossman's mother.

 

Now I remember this feud but I don't remember what Heenan said about Bossman's mother.

 

Can anyone tell me what he said exactly?

I think it was just bad jokes and whatnot. Like King would do with Bret's mom. The only thing I remember about that feud was a scared Bobby in the ring with a stuffed Bossman toy begging off a beating.

He said a LOT, on every WWF show for about two months he would make constant comments about Bossman's mother, most of which were hilarious, and Monsoon would get on his case all the time for it

I also believe that when Rick Rude opted out of his contract in the midst of this storyline, they said that Jack Tunney had "suspended him for his actions".

did anyone see that old Prime Time epsisode where Heenan was talking shit about Bossman's mom, so he came out and quickly hand-cuffed Heenan to a railing, then went in the back and came out with his mother (whether it was his real mother, i'm not sure, but she looked, to me at least, to be too young to be Bossman's mother, but i could be wrong), and she beat the shit out of Heenan with her purse. and, of course, Heenan sold it like death. funny stuff.

I remember an episode of Wrestling Challenge in the middle of this storyline, where Bossman handcuffed Heenan to the ringpost for the entire show.

Mostly. Bossman went through the "Heenan Family" stable (i.e. Haku and Barbarian) to get to Hennig at Wrestlemania.

 

On the "WWF Funniest Moments" VHS, it houses the segment with the blowoff to the Bossman/Heenan feud, a confrontation which ended in Heenan getting the ball-and-chain driven into his stomach repeated times.
