Bret Hart easily brings out the best in the British Bulldog, their IYH match and Summerslam match both are incredible.

Steve Austin

Well, Austin's best performance was vs Rock from Mania 17...but I don't think Rock "brought" that out of him. :)

The Rock

Chris Jericho - No Mercy 2001

Shawn Michaels

Probably vs Razor from Mania 10. Best example of Shawn working smart (and very smart) instead of working for the cheap pop.

HHH

I don't know if HHH has any "best" to be brought out. He's generally the same no matter who he's facing. Maybe Jericho in 2000?

Mick Foley

Probably Shawn Michaels in Mind Games.

Undertaker

The 2003 Angle match, while not Taker's best, was certainly unique, stylistically, for Taker.

Bret Hart

Owen, no question. They could do things together that no one else could with them. A perfect pairing.

Owen Hart

Bret, Wrestlemania 10. Owen at his cocky best.

Vader

It's usually Vader bringing out the best in others. Probably vs Inoki. He made Vader bring out his carrying skills, leading Inoki to a great match (1/96).

British Bulldog

Bret Hart by miles. Whether it be a complete carry (SSlam 92) or a competitive match (IYH 5), Bret was easily Davey's best opponent.

Randy Savage

For me, Bret Hart. Their SNME 11/87 match is a lost classic. Savage sells like a god, makes Bret look like a legit threat, and still maintains his credibility. Wait, maybe it's savage bringing the best out of Bret here. :) Bret's work is great in it too. Not seen the Steamboat match in ages though...

Hulk Hogan

Probably Stan Hansen, even if I don't like that match too much.

Ultimate Warrior

Randy Savage, obviously. Their Mania 7 match is a masterpiece of storytelling and drama.

Ric Flair

Barry Windham (2/86, 1/87).

Kurt Angle

Steve Austin at Summerslam 2001.

Brock Lesnar

Eddie Guerrero at No Way Out. Lesnar's best performance. Eddie being so damned great certainly helped there.

Chris Benoit

Eddie Guerrero. Benoit and him work so brilliantly together. 6/11/96 in Japan is their best meeting.

Eddie Guererro

Benoit. 6/11/96.

Rey Mysterio

Eddie Guerrero. Havoc 97 is amazing, with Eddie at his near peak.

Curt Hennig

Bret Hart, KOTR 93. Great match, and underrated. Better than SSlam 91.

Jeff Jarrett

I heard of a great Jarrett/Benoit match in 1996...

Kevin Nash

Bret Hart, yet again. His Survivor Series 95 match is shockingly good. Bret comes into the match with a wonderful gameplan, carried through to perfection.

Scott Hall

Shawn at Mania 10. Hall's best by miles.

DDP

I liked that Benoit match in 98.

Bam Bam Bigelow

No clue...but he did wrestle Bret a few times. ;)

Jerry Lawler

Not seen enough to know.

Rowdy Roddy Piper

Bret Hart~! Mania 8 sees Bret work a classic with an over-the-hill Piper who doesn't have much to offer.

X Pac

Owen Hart. Their KOTR 94 sprint shows what Waltman could do with a similar opponent.

Ken Shamrock

Unsure.

Shane Douglas

The Hollywood Blondes vs Steamboat/Douglas tags are the best I've seen from Douglas.

Justin Credible

No clue.

Sabu

Benoit at a house show.

Raven

Don't know. Benoit from Souled Out 98 maybe?

Scott Steiner

Rick Steiner

Benoit and Liger in Japan. Love that tag. Steiners bring the killer offense, and the juniors bump like mad for them.

Sid Vicious

Shawn, Survivor Series 1996.

Scott Norton

No idea. Probably someone in Japan.

Rob Van Dam

Eddie Guerrero in 2002.

Lance Storm

Can't think of anything really.

This is based on WWE, some WCW, and limited ECW.

Steve Austin:

Bret Hart. I loved both their SS '96 and WM 13 matches.

The Rock

Chris Jericho. Maybe it was the story behind both the matches (NM and RR), but I loved both the matches.

HHH

Micheals. Trips seems to really bring his game up with matches against Shawn.

Bret Hart

Owen.

Owen Hart

Bret.

Vader

Foley. The brutal matches were much fun to watch.

British Bulldog

Bret Hart. One of the only matches that I thoroughly enjoyed Bulldog in as a singles wrestler in. Bret made him look like a million dollars.

Ric Flair

Steamboat. Classic matches right there.

Kurt Angle

Benoit. There aren't many Angle/Benoit matches that aren't tremendous.

Chris Benoit

Jericho, I think. I might be a bit bias though, heh.

Jeff Jarrett

Micheals. Their IYH PPV match was pretty damn good.

Kevin Nash

Micheals. Him and Bret were one of the handful of people Nash had good matches with.

Rob Van Dam

Eddie. I enjoyed their non-gimmick matches quite a bit too.
