Stephen Joseph Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2004-08/...ent_1766126.htm BEIJING, Aug.12 (Xinhuanet) -- Russian scientists said they have discovered the wreck of an alien device at the site of an unexplained explosion in Siberia almost a hundred years ago, China Daily reported today, citing the Interfax news agency as the source. The scientists, who belong to the Tunguska space phenomenon public state fund, said they found the remains of an extra-terrestrial device that allegedly crashed near the Tunguska river in Siberia in 1908. Their findings also include a 50-kilogram (110-pound) rock which they have sent to the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk for analysis. The Tunguska blast, in a desolate part of Siberia, remains one of the 20th century's biggest scientific mysteries. On June 30, 1908, what is widely believed to be a meteorite exploded a few kilometers above the Tunguska river, in a blast that was felt hundreds of kilometers (miles) away and devastated over 2,000 square kilometers of Siberian forest.
Guest SP-1 Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 Wow. So Aykroid was talking about something that actually happened in Ghostbusters. Excellent.
Guest CronoT Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 Wow. So Aykroid was talking about something that actually happened in Ghostbusters. Excellent. Um, duh. [EDIT]-The Tunguska Blast and the Philadelphia Experiment are some of the oldest and greatest scientific mysteries of the past century.
Guest SP-1 Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 I figured he had done his homework, but I'd never come across them. specifically. Oddly enough.

Vyce Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 I keep hoping for the secrets of Nikola Tesla to finally be revealed.
Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 What about the fatima prophecies, wasn't the pope supposed to reveal the final, appocalyptic one 50 years after it was given to the Vatican?
Skywarp! Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 What about the fatima prophecies, wasn't the pope supposed to reveal the final, appocalyptic one 50 years after it was given to the Vatican? He might have changed his mind. Could you imagine the flak he'd get from the world community if one of the prophicies he kept secret was about 9/11 or something?
Golgo 13 Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 I thought the third prophecy was the attempt on his life?
