In number 3, the JLA were battling Deathstroke. Green Arrow mentioned that the guy fought like Bruce. The question is: Has Batman ever battled Slade before? Once was early on in Deathstroke's book (#7 IIRC) and then in Detective Comics #710. First match ended with Deathstroke winning and Batman won the rematch over a decade later.....
