evilhomer Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 It's not like I miss him. There were a few amusing moments but nothing that I felt added a great deal of value to the show. But I just realized when I saw Chavo walk out tonight that his pop isn't with him anymore. I can't remember anything where they showed Classic the door. Did I miss something or was this just another angle dropped with no explanation? I don't think I missed a show, but on the other hand the shows have been so forgettable, I could easily have seen it and erased it from memory.

Guest Staravenger Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 He no showed two events, because he didn't like the drection of his character being mainly for comedy. His excuse was he was "Drugged and kidnapped"
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 they should have hired Celebrity stunt man trainer in LA Mando Guerrero or the Gobberlygooker Hector Guerrero!

The Czech Republic Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 I think it would be even better if as a rib, someone on Raw justifies his on-air tardiness to being drugged and kidnapped.
Guest news_gimmick Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 From March til May or so he was about the only thing that entertained me on Smackdown, which is sad but true. He just seemed so out of place and stuff it was funny to me. But I also felt he played up the character well, and his chemistry with Chavo worked well. It's a shame he seems to still have the huge ego that stems from his superstardom or whatever decades ago. Heh, thats the business for you, ego will always take you down.

I was shocked --- and a little disappointed --- that TNA didn't say that at least their Champs don't get drugged and left for dead in Mexico. -=Mike

But maybe that's just me.
