Raw - September 6, 2004

The pyros start the show and Jerry "The King" Lawler and Jim Ross welcome the crowd.

: The cameras follow Raven as he enters backstage towards the locker room.:

Overall: 90

Ross: Oh my King - it is true. I knew Whipwreck was bringing in Raven, but I didn't think he meant so soon. He just barely announced that Raven was returning this past Thursday on SmackDown!

Lawler: Yeah, I think Tazz right. We can't have Raven here! Even if he is par order of Whipwreck and Prof. Plague!

Ross: I have no idea King - I just have no idea.

Chris Kanyon vs. Edge.

Match Background: None.

The Match: Flying shoulder tackle by Kanyon sends Edge CRASHING to the mat. Edge walks into a side slam. Think about how much talent it takes to side slam someone. Nash can do it. Chris Kanyon jumps out of the ring about to attack Edge...and Booker scores with a brutal chair shot! Chris Kanyon falls to the floor holding his head.

My Opinion: Absolutely solid match. A few minor things brought it down, so I'm tacking on a **** rating.

Ross: Will those two ever stop?! Whipwreck and Plague need to do something with those two! They apparently didn't settle their differences at SummerSlam, but they keep interrupt the show!

Lawler: This is something they need to take care of, but Chris Kanyon and Booker T want to destroy each other in the mean time!

A Surprise Visit

Kurt Angle is pacing backstage when Ken Shamrock comes from behind and attacks him with a chair! Angle stumbles forward and Shamrock catches up with him - and slam him again twice in the skull! Angle is laid-out backstage!

Overall: 75

Ross: What was that King?!

Lawler: I think that was Our Olympic Hero being attacked from behind with a steel chair from Ken Shamrock!

Ross: I don't get it, King. Shamrock debuts last week challenging Angle to a match and talks about all the respect he has for this sport - and here he goes and does something stupid like that!

Lawler: May be that's Shamrock's way of welcoming himself in the WWE.

Ross: I don't understand how Plague is allowing this to happen! It feels like he just left the door for anyone who wants to enter, can. He's ruining the good name of sports entertainment!

Lawler: I think that's the idea, Ross. This isn't sports entertainment anymore. This is wrestling.

Rey counters a sleeper with a jaw breaker and is able to get free! Rey Mysterio hits a rolling kick on Matt. The two competitors end up fighting to the outside of the ring. They wind up brawling all the way outside of the ring and Matt slams Rey into the ring post! Matt throws Rey into the crowd! They begin brawling through the crowd and to the backstage!

You know Prof. Plague, a few of us who also run this company have a thing or two to say about your "ideas"...:Running from outback Rhyno, who hits slides into the ring - Stephanie McMahon is in trouble. Rhyno: Guess who's back! Rhyno's back and he plans on starting on top this time! No more burying me to the bottom of the roster! I am back and plan to play the field! And just like everyone else here, I have my sights on the WWE World title. In fact, I think that's here I'm going to start. Kurt Angle! You think you've been having trouble with Ken Shamrock? Then you haven't been in the ring with me just yet. But the only thing is, I need a Commissioner's signature to authorize this match. ...Hey Stephanie! :Rhyno creeps over to the unconscious Stephanie McMahon and pulls out a pen and piece of paper. Rhyno grabs Stephanie's limp hands and forges her signature.: There, that's about right where I need to be. Kurt Angle, I'll be seeing you tonight.

Overall: 88

Ross: Oh my god! Rhyno's back! And what a way to announce it! What the hell is Plague thinking?! Raven and Rhyno are back in the WWE!

Lawler: I think we better start getting used to this, Ross.

Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Raven.

Raven: So you all thought I was gone. You think that I could've stayed away any long from this hell hole of a company? I was sitting at home and I got a call from Prof. Plague pleading me to come-back to the WWE after for being away for so long. I reluctantly agreed to this idea. I decided to return to ensure that havoc will be reeked within the company. You all think you have been safe-guarded, but that presence inside you all has failed. Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore."

Match Background: Raven has returned to the WWE.

The Match: Rude Awakening neckbreaker on Raven by Bubba. Remember when that was a legit finish? Raven walks into a side slam. Think about how much talent it takes to side slam someone. Bubba Ray Dudley can barely stand. Here it comes - Raven Effect DDT. 1....2...3, it's finished. Bubba Ray Dudley extends his hand to Raven...but it is ignored!

My Opinion: I'm capable of giving out high star ratings...but only for matches that really deserve it. This one didn't. **1/4.

Chris Benoit vs. Sean O'Haire.

Match Background: None.

The Match: Brainbuster by Chris Benoit! Brutal sit out powerbomb on O'Haire! Chris Benoit brings out a jumping powerbomb to nearly murder O'Haire in the ring! Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Rock goes to climb out of the ring...and takes a chair to the head! The referee has no hesitation in calling for the bell! Disqualification. Rock \ Lesnar nod at each other...and they attack World's Greatest Tag Team! Smackdown - September 9, 2004

The pyros start the shows as Michael Cole and Tazz welcome crowd.

Cole: Tazz, I don’t believe it! I know Mikey Whipwreck last week said that Raven would be arriving shortly, but I didn’t think he meant on this past Raw!

Tazz: Well, we all were a little surprised that night. Not only did Raven return to the WWE as a favor to Mikey Whipwreck, Rhyno also returned! And what a return Rhyno made! He came back and Gored Vince’s daughter and General Manager Stephanie! And then forged her signature as she laid limp in the ring from Rhyno, giving himself a title shot for Kurt Angle’s World title in the same night!

Cole: Of course that match ended in disqualification as Ken Shamrock ran into the ring and attacking Kurt Angle, as we all saw at the end of Raw. But as for now, we’ve been asked to give attention to Vince McMahon for a message from Q. C. Plague.

Warm, Heat-Felt Welcome Back

Vince McMahon is in the ring: I came back from a meeting with Head Booker Prof. Plague the other night, and we were doing some thinking...Raven and Rhyno - you both made such an impact last Monday, may be you two should become a tag team! In fact, that’s what Prof. Plague and I did. We made you tag team. So whether you like it or not, you two now have to cooperate as a tag team because we say so! But to welcome you both back and to welcome you as your first night as a tag team, you get a shot at the World's Greatest Tag Team for the Tag Team titles! Now remember, the only reason why we put you two together is because this was a splendid idea from Prof. Plague, and we want to ensure you, the fans are happy. And when the fans are happy, Prof. Plague is happy; and when Prof. Plague is happy, I’m happy - and so won’t everyone else backstage, including all of our top superstars! So remember when you ask why, remember: We’re doing this for you, the fans! :Vince cracks a big smile.:

Cole: Well Tazz. That was just weird. ...If the fans are happy...then Plague is...then he is...then we are?

Tazz: Hey, whatever Mr. McMahon and Prof. Plague want, he just have to go for it! And I can’t wait! Wait...so Rhyno and Raven are now on the official roster as a tag team? But...they’re singles wrestlers! They’re not tag team material! They won’t last! They won’t stand each other. Not even for a single minute!

Cole: We really can’t decide what those two think of in the office. But with that being done, let’s move onto the first match of the night!

Tazz: I don’t know, Cole! I can’t think straight now! Rhyno and Raven as a tag team?!

Molly Holly vs. Trish Stratus vs. Lita vs. Jazz.

The Match: Molly hits a back kick, doubling Trish over. Flying elbow from Molly Holly, grazing the target slightly. Covers for a quick two count. Trish reverses a waistlock. Tag to Lita. Lita hits a spinning back kick. All those spinning kicks look alike, don't they. Lita whips Molly into the turnbuckles...and the ref is crushed! Flying knee to the face from Lita. For the record it was more of a Rusty Wizard than a Shining one. Hooks the leg, but the referee is still out! Lita hits a spinning back kick. All those spinning kicks look alike, don't they. Molly reverses a waistlock. Tag to Jazz. Weak bodyslam by Jazz. Jazz with a badly-executed spinning neckbreaker on Lita. One more performed that badly and this match will end on a bad note, if you get my drift. Lita backdrops Jazz out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Lita. Lita hits an arm drag on Jazz, follows it up with about 3 more and locks in an armbar for good measure. Lita face jams Jazz. Tag between Lita and Molly Holly. Flying elbow from Molly Holly, grazing the target slightly. Molly Holly blasts Jazz with a superkick. Jazz is stunned as Molly heads to the top rope. Molly Go Round!!! 1....2....3!! It's all over.

The Rock hooks up a suplex, but Edge flips out and lands on his feet, and quickly scores with a school boy pin! 1...2..3! Edge just pinned The Rock!

My Opinion: Nothing offensive, but nothing too special either. **1\2 rating.

Another Return Visit

Booker T is walking down the aisle carrying the WWE Intercontinental belt and begins talking to himself: Man, I am the greatest! Five time--five time World champion and again, the Intercontinental title champion. Man, it’s great to be me. :From outback and out of the crowd comes the returning Randy Orton!: Randy Orton cuts Booker T short before he can get himself in to the ring! Booker T is down and beltless! Orton grabs the belt off the floor and escapes through the crowd.:

Tazz: What the hell is going on here? Stepanie’s back, Raven’s back, Rhyno’s back...and now Randy Orton?!

Cole: Tazz, I think I’m losing it. All I know is that I just saw Randy Orton and now Booker T is laid out before he can even get into the ring, and now Orton has the stolen Intercontinental title!

Tazz: I don’t know, Cole! All I know right now is the first team-up of Raven and Rhyno and it’s for the Tag Team titles against The World’s Greatest Tag Team, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin!

Raven holds Charlie Haas in place. Rhyno charges for the Gore! ...but Haas ducks, and Rhyno ends up flooring Raven! Raven can barely stand. Haastruction! 1....2....3.

Tazz: Oh no, Cole. Raven and Rhyno look pissed and they are just staring at each other. This doesn’t look good...those two are going to go at it any second now!

:Raven and Rhyno clothesline World's Greatest Tag Team! Raven sets-up Charlie Haas - Raven Effect! And Rhyno is waiting for Shelton Benjamin to stand-up - Gore! Raven and Rhyno have just destroyed the Tag Team champions!

My Opinion: *** rating for an above average match.

Mikey's Thoughts

Mikey Whipwreck is backstage in the Commissioner‘s Office: I’ve been doing some good, ole thinking here in the Commissioner’s Office, like always. And in the thinking, I came acrossed a good idea for tonight. What has four legs, can bomb the ring, and strikes the same letter three times? Got it? Yup, it’s F-Bomb versus Triple in a handicap match here tonight on SmackDown! I know, I love it too. Triple H, you better get ready. Brock and Bubba seems to be rather excited for a match tonight. And Bubba and I go way back, so he’s willing to do anything in my good name; especially to ruin yours.

Orton and the I.C. title

Randy Orton is in the ring: Man, it feels so great to be back - and I already have the Intercontinental title with me. I know my upcoming months are going to be this title around my waist for months at a time. Hahahha. ...But let me digress. :Booker T’s music plays and he enters the ring with Orton.:

Booker T: That’s right. You better digress with my boot up ya’ ass! You are messin’ with the five time! Five time! World champion, and current Intercontinental champion - so I don’t know what you’re doin’ with my belt on your shoulder.

Orton: Now, calm down, Booker. I was merely getting a feel of the I.C., so I know what to expect when I beat you tonight.

Booker T: What?! Beat me tonight?! Boy, you don’t deserve a shot at this title! You don’t even deserve to be in the WWE! And you want a shot at my title the night you return? You think that just because you can attack from behind in the locker room, and steal my title, that you deserve a shot at my title, right now?!

:Vince McMahon enters the sound stage: Wait-wait-wait. Booker, that might be your title, but this is my company. And that answer to that, is a yes! Randy Orton! You think that title feels right on you?! Go for it! Booker, you have to defend your title right here, right now, against that man - the returning Randy Orton!

Match Background: This will be a triangle bout. Shamrock and Angle have been feuding recently. Neither has managed to get an in-ring victory in this feud. This match is for the WWE World title.

Styles hits a dropkick on Chris Jericho and gets right back up. Diamond Dust from AJ Styles and Jericho is out! Chris Jericho hooks up a suplex, but it is blocked. Styles scores with a low blow, then turns it into a small package! The referee didn't see the illegal blow! 1...2...3! Chris Jericho got screwed out of the victory!

Cole: That AJ Styles will do anything to win a match!

Tazz: I don’t know, Cole. It’s not like it hitting people with chairs or anything. Besides, he has to be a great guy, he came into the WWE specially for Prof. Plague!

Cole: Sometimes when I see Styles, I see exactly that - style. This guy can do any move in the book, and then some! And here he is cheating to win a match by cheap shotting Jericho with a low-blow! I can’t stay this guy!

My Opinion: ***1\4 rating

McMahon's Message

Vince McMahon is backstage: When Prof. Plague came in and took over the backstage, I knew there was going to be new found sense of integrity in this company that we had been lacking for quite some time now. So that’s why tonight, we get to see some real wrestling once again - this isn’t sports entertainment anymore. Tonight in this very ring, UFC versus the Olympics! Kurt Angle versus Ken Shamrock, one on one. But befoere we do that, I have a little message for our Heavy-Weight champ, AJ Styles. AJ, we have a newer set standard in the WWE. A high standard that all of our champions should be meeting. And the way you cheated to beat Chris Jericho in that four-corners match against Rob Van Damn and Eddie Guerrero was nothing less than shameful! So that’s why I have a little present for you tonight, AJ Styles. To ensure this high standard is maintained, you will be wrestling Rhyno and Raven in a handicap match! I think this is the only way you’ll learn, Styles.

Rey Mysterio and Booker T vs. Matt Hardy Version 1.0 and Chris Kanyon.

Match Background: This is a continuation of the Kanyon vs. Booker feud. This is a continuation of the Rey vs Matt feud. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Spin kick by Rey Mysterio to the face sends the opponent FLYING across the ring. Matt kicks Rey Mysterio in the gut to reverse the momentum. Implant DDT by Matt Hardy Version 1.0! I will always and forever mark out for that move. Tag between Matt Hardy Version 1.0 and Chris Kanyon. Trying to channel the spirit of Misawa, Chris Kanyon ends up chanelling Lex Luger instead and nails a running forearm to the face, minus the steel plate, of course. Tag between Rey Mysterio and Booker T. Booker T charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Chris Kanyon moves in for the kill. Downward Spiral! 1....2....3. Kanyon \ Matt nod at each other...and they attack Booker \ Rey! The element of surprise works in their favor, and they have soon left Booker \ Rey down and out on the canvas.

My Opinion: A **3/4 match!

Kash Is The Root Of All Evil

:Vince McMahon is backstage in the Executive Office when the debuting Kid Kash walks in:

Kash: McMahon, you know who I am and you know what I’ve done. You know that I deserve a spot in this company, but you assholes in the uppers won’t give me a shot. Now Vince, it’s just you and I in this office. What do I have to do to get a job here and secure my place in the company.

McMahon: Who the hell do you think you are? I’ve been turned back time and time again for damn good reasons! Yes, I know exactly what you’ve done and that’s why no one is ever going to see your face in this company! So you might as well just turn back and go back out on the streets where you belong!

Kash grabs Vince by the collar: You listen here, Vince. I’ve come back and don’t plan to be turned down this time. I’ll do anything short of torturing you and pillaging all of Connecticut and assaulting all of you yuppies along the way!

McMahon: OK, Kash. We can talk things out. You won’t be turned away this time. But for future reference, I don’t play nice with threats. You won’t last one month in the WWE. Especially not with Prof. Plague running this company. So, you say you want a job, you prove yourself tonight by beating Eddie Guerrero for his U.S. title.

Kash: OK, McMahon. You’ve got yourself a deal. But before I leave, I just thought it was funny that you mentioned how Plague was intolerant of people like me and my actions, but he was the one who drafted me. The people backstage are right, I am going to be a plague on this company.

Ross: No King...NO! Kid Kash can’t be part of this company! I rather would have seen my boss ripped to shreds than to see Kid Kash here! No - dammit, NO!

Lawler: You’re telling me! I knew Prof. Plague had worked with NWA for sometime, but I was hoping he wasn’t going to recruit Kash! I mean, Raven and Rhyno is one type of bad as it is! And now we have anything sort of bad to deal with in this company! I don’t think I can last any longer here! It’s just not safe! Prof. Plague, please change your mind! Reconsider! ...ANYTHING!

Commisioner's Report

Mikey Whipwreck is backstage in the Commissioner’s Office: Oooo...looky. It looks like it’s that time of night once again. It’s that time when I get to plan a surprise match for my best buddy, Triple H and the rest of Evolution. Triple H, you’ve made me so welcome in this company since I’ve debuted, and I can only hope that I can be able to return these favors just as well! So, welcoming me in the ways that you did made me a part of the WWE team. And this made me think. How can I welcome back a member of your team, Randy Orton? Then this second idea came upon me. How can I mix the two? How can I welcome back Randy Orton and make Triple H’s life a living hell? Well, I finally came to after taking a nap on the Commissioner’s desk - a match tonight between Triple H and Randy Orton - one-on-one! I know, I love it too!

Ross: Whipwreck was right! What a way to welcome back Randy Orton!

Lawler: He can’t do that, Ross! Triple H is the former Heavy-Weight champion! And Randy Orton just returned! He can’t expect them to fight!

Ross: Well I believe Whipwreck just did.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Kid Kash.

Match Background: Kash is making his debut at this show. This match is for the WWE United States title and for a position in the company.

The Match: Kash hits a dropkick on Eddie Guerrero and gets right back up. SUPER frankensteiner on Eddie, who hit hard and is loopy as a result. Hooks the leg for a two count. Eddie blocks the suplex attempt and is able to hit the suplex instead! Kash walks into a high dropkick from Eddie Guerrero, almost losing several teeth in the process. Ultimo Dragon slides into the ring out of nowhere! Eddie takes a stiff punch to the face and falls to the canvas. The referee calls for the DQ as Ultimo Dragon continues to attack Eddie. Ultimo Dragon remains in the ring. Kid Kash pushes the referee away. Kid Kash spins Ultimo around. Kid Kash hits the Cha Ching!

My Opinion: Great match, it deserves every snowflake its getting. ****1\4

Welcome Home

Mikey Whipwreck is in the ring: Kid Kash, I know McMahon said you had to beat Eddie Guerrero and win the U.S. title for get hired, but gosh darn-it! If you say you’re going to do a good job here in the WWE and you’ve had the go ahead from Prof. Plague, then you’re alright by me! Well Kid, it looks like you’ve got yourself a job! :They shake hands and just as they do, the music for Evolution plays and Triple H, Ric Flair, and Randy Orton run down and hit the ring.: Now, now gentlemen, I’d be more than happy to beat your asses one at a time, but this just plain isn’t fair!

Triple H: If you haven’t noticed Mikey Whipreck, we don’t play fair. And I don’t think you do either. We don’t play nice with others. And with that being said, undo tonight’s assigned match between Randy Orton and I.

Whipwreck: It’s already been assigned Triple H. You say you can beat any wrestler in this biz, and Randy Orton, you say you want to prove yourself in this company and to be a top star? To be a top star, you have to beat the top stars. And even though Triple H might not be at that point anymore, I’ve already called the match. It’s been signed, just get this then done, and you two get a chance to prove yourself to me, to each other, and to everyone else out there. Do it, tonight.

Triple H: C’mon! I don’t actually want to hurt the kid!

Orton: What’s that Triple H? Hurt me? I think you should be a bit more concerned with me beating you. I’m younger, stronger, quicker, smarter, so what if I’m not, “The Game.“ Woooo-hooo, I am the next top star in this company.

Triple H: Don’t kid yourself, Randy. I’ve been on top since I got here, and I don’t plan on moving. And frankly why are we discuss this? We are not the problem. He is the problem.

:All of Evolution turn and face Mikey Whipwreck. Triple H gives the signal and Evolution runs down Mikey Whipwreck! When Triple H is satisfied with the beating, they back off and head back toward the locker room, their point about who has the power having been made.

Ross: What the hell king? Doesn’t Triple H know his place in this company? And why was Kid Kash just standing there that entire time?

Lawler: He didn’t, Ross. He ran away!

Ross: Well, what a good prospect by Mikey Whipwreck.

World's Greatest Tag Team vs. Hurricane and Tajiri.

Match Background: Hurricane and Tajiri are teaming up as Hurricane and Tajiri for the first time tonight as assigned backstage by Prof. Plague. This match is for the WWE Tag Team titles. World's Greatest Tag Team are the reigning World Tag Team champions, and have been since 19 August 2004.

World's Greatest Tag Team go into the crowd, where they celebrate their win.

Ross: Wow - King! What a match that was! For once, I must admit that World’s Greatest Tag Team deserved that win!

My Opinion: The psychology was sound, the work was crisp, but a few awkward moments drag it down to about ****1\2.

Ross: Well, King, it looks like the fun is about to begin! Up next is Triple H versus Randy Orton!

Lawler: I still can’t believe that Whipwreck is making these two wrestle! Even after they tried to change the match.

Ross: What’s more interesting was that it looked like Orton and Triple H were about to go at right then and there!

Triple H vs. Randy Orton.

Match Background: The match was assigned by Mikey Whipwreck earlier on Raw.

The Match: Orton and Triple H move around the ring, running into the ropes avoiding hitting each other. He goes toe-to-toe with Mikey Whipwreck, exchanging punches, while Triple H comes back, sending Whipwreck out of the ring with a clothesline. Flair \ HHH have cleared the ring, taking down Mikey Whipwreck! Evolution has once again made the point to Mikey Whipwreck!

Ross: What was Whipwreck thinking? Why didn’t he just run off after he hit Triple H with the chair? He should’ve known better than to try to clear the ring with Evolution! That was three against one!

Lawler: Let it go, Ross. He deserved that! Like you said, he should’ve known better than to mess with Evolution!

My Opinion: 1/4*. Be happy it's not a DUD.

AJ Styles vs. Raven and Rhyno.

Match Background: This will be a 2 on 1 handicap bout as assigned by Vince McMahon earlier on Raw. AJ Styles is the reigning World Heavyweight champion, and has been since 29 August 2004.

Chris Jericho comes running down the aisle with a chair! Rhyno and AJ Styles continue fighting, unaware of the intrusion. Chris Jericho slides in and blasts AJ Styles with a chair to the head! Jericho climbs out of the ring, the damage done! AJ Styles is in trouble. Here it comes - Gore. 1....2...3, it's finished. Jericho walks to the back while pointing and laughing at Styles in the ring.

Ross: What the hell was that King! That Jericho is such an ego maniac! He thinks he can just interrupt and match the Styles is in! This was a two-on-one already! That’s just a sick display by Jericho. Now we all get to see what Jericho is really like!

Lawler: Styles isn’t going to win them all, Ross. That’s just the way it is. He better get used to it too. Soon Jericho will be the next Heavy-Weight champ!

My Opinion: I can be generous sometimes. Well, depends on your definition of generous. **1/4.

Ken Shamrock vs. Kurt Angle.

Match Background: This matach was set-by Vince McMahon earlier on Raw. Shamrock and Angle have been feuding recently. Neither has managed to get an in-ring victory in this feud. This match is for the WWE World title.

And again! A pair of clotheslines follow and...yep, Shamrock is a HOUSE...EN...FUEGO~! Angle gets caught with a belly to belly suplex from Shamrock! Angle reverses a Ken Shamrock hammerlock. This just in!  Shawn Michaels has suffered an injury.  During training at OVW, Micheals took a bad bump and once again has hurt his back.  Doctor's said he won't be back for any reason for at least a month.

  -Source:  wrestling-heat.com

I actuality, I'm just wondering - who really cares?  Michaels is well past his prime and doesn't do anything in the company.  He doesn't even do anything as a general manager.

SmackDown! - September 16, 2004

Thy pryos start the show and Michael Cole and Tazz welcome the crowd.

Cole: Tazz, we are less than two weeks away now from Unforgiven. Things are starting to really stir up here in the WWE.

Tazz: You’re tellin’ me! One week Rhyno returns, another week Raven returns, and then I’m sitting at home on Monday, watching Raw - and who do I see?! Kid Kash getting a job right infront of my eyes!

Cole: Vince McMahon made a deal with Kash saying that if he beat Eddie Guerrero for his U.S. title, he would have a job in the WWE. But in that match, Ultimo Dragon ran in the ring and clocked Guerrero - leading to a DQ. But from there, Mikey Whipwreck gives him a job anyhow!

Tazz: Yeah, but Dragon costed Kash a shot at the U.S. title.

Cole: Which lead us to now. After Raw on Monday, Kash called out Dragon for a match tonight on SmackDown!

Ultimo Dragon vs. Kid Kash.

Match Background: Continuation when Ultimo cost Kash a shot for the U.S. title.

The Match: STIFF high kick on Kash by Ultimo Dragon. Ultimo Dragon connects with a back heel kick on Kash and gets back up quickly. Second rope flying axe handle, Kash goes down. One day, Ultimo might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. I will always and forever mark out for that move. Spinning bulldog in the corner and Ultimo is down! There's a two count on the pin. Ultimo counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Ultimo crushes Kash with a huge legdrop. Hooks the leg for a two count. Diamond Dust from Ultimo Dragon and Kash is out! Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Kid Kash is able to duck a clothesline attempt and connect with a counter clothesline. Ultimo walks into a high dropkick from Kid Kash, almost losing several teeth in the process. Ultimo backdrops Kid Kash out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Ultimo Dragon. Ultimo Dragon hits a rolling kick on Kash. Ultimo Dragon moves in for the kill. Flipping Reverse DDT! 1....2....3. Eddie Guerrero comes running down the aisle, and gets into the ring! Eddie Guerrero slams Ultimo down. Eddie Guerrero climbs to the top rope and hits the Frog Splash! Ultimo Dragon has been left down on the canvas, along with Kid Kash.

My Opinion: Solid bout, but they could do a lot better. ***

Chris Kanyon vs. Booker T.

Match Background: This is a continuation of the Kanyon vs. Booker feud. Booker T is the reigning WWE Intercontinental champion.

The Match: Booker takes a headbutt from Chris Kanyon. Kanyon drops an elbow...but Booker T moves out of the way. Kanyon takes a headbutt from Booker T. Booker comes over...and gets nailed with a set of brass knuckles! The referee wakes up to see the pinfall: 1....2....3! It's over. Chris Kanyon slides out of the ring to the floor, then turns and leaves through the crowd. He's happy to have the win, and evidently isn't going to hang around for Booker to get some payback.

My Opinion: Good bout. In my estimation, it's about ***3/4.

Commissioner's Thoughts

Mikey Whipwreck is in the ring: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to SmackDown! Now, you all might be wondering, who am I going to make Triple H or any member of Evolution fight here tonight? Well, that’s a good question. I’ve been thinking and thinking, but I can’t think of exactly who. :From outback HHH \ Orton come out and attack, beating him downtwo-on-one. Triple H applies the Main Event Sleeper!:

Triple H: Easy Mikey...no-one. You won’t even be awake to assign a match to me. :Out of the crowd comes Paul London, making his debut. He slides in and attacks Randy Orton. Triple H drops Whipwreck from the hold to try to double-team London. Mikey Whipwreck comes-to and spins Triple H around - Whippersnapper! London tosses Orton out of the ring and Whipwreck rolls Triple H out of the ring.

Whipwreck: Thanks a lot, kid. That meant a lot. But, who the hell are you?

London: I’m Paul London, sir. And I came here tonight looking for a fight.

Whipwreck: Well, it looks like you’ve found one. But, may be you should go back in the stands and watch the rest of the show, and don’t try to get yourself hurt. :London begins to leaves the ring: ...Wait... Did you just say you were Paul London?

London: Yes, sir. I’ve come to make a fighting change here in the WWE.

Whipwreck: Well...hell then! You’ve come to the right place! In fact - you can start tonight. How about you go out back and get ready - because tonight you’re going to be facing my buddy - and yours, Triple H - one on one.

London: Thank you, sir. I won’t let you down.

I have decided that at Unforgiven, Matt Hardy Version 1.0 and Rey Mysterio are going to go at it for the Cruiser-Weight title!

Tazz: Cole, just a moment ago you said everyone was excited to see Steph return to SmackDown, well her big bro just came back, too! And he just assigned Rey and Matt to go at it for the Cruiser-Weight title.

Cole: Well, the McMahon General Managers are back and they’re already making an impression on Smackdown! But up next, Triple H and Paul London! Earlier London saved Mikey Whipwreck from a severe beating from the hands of Evolution. And then Whipwreck hired London right then and there so he could wrestle Triple H tonight!

Triple H vs. Paul London.

Match Background: London is making his debut at this show. London was ordered to wrestle Triple H by Mikey Whipwreck when London saved him from an attack from Evolution.

My Opinion: A badly blown spot prevents me from giving out more snowflakes. ***3/4.

Raw - September 20, 2004

The pyros start and Jim Ross welcomes the crowd.

Ross: Hello everyone to Raw! Ladies and gentlemen, as you may have noticed, Jerry” The King” Lawler is not here tonight. But in his place we have special guest color commentator, Lil Jon. Welcome Lil Jon to Raw, and the WWE

Lil Jon: Yeah!

Ross: Yes. And with that being said, Vince McMahon has a special announcement about Unforgiven.

Lil Jon: OK!

McMahon's Decision

Vince McMahon is in the ring: I’m out at ringside, I watch from outback, watch from home, the office...everywhere. And I’ve been noticing a couple of thing happening in the WWE. One things has been our Heavy-Weight champ, AJ Styles. Styles, you started out alright. I was glad to see the tyranny of Triple H over with as Heavy-Weight champion for life, but now you’re abusing the opportunities as Heavy-Weight champion. And there are other wrestlers in this company who deserve a shot at the title. That’s why this Sunday at Unforgiven you’re going to wrestle Chris Jericho and defend your Heavy-Weight title. And I don’t want to see any cheap tricks be either of you. I want to see real wrestling. Remember, this is a new era in the WWE. This is the era of professional wrestling, not sports entertainment.

Kid Kash vs. Paul London.

Match Background: Both recently have debuted and hired full-time by Mikey Whipwreck.

The Match: Dropkick connects to the BUTT of the jaw and London goes down. London reverses a Kid Kash hammerlock. London just WAFFLES Kash with a STIFF chop that hurt ME to watch! Kash reverses an Irish whip...and Paul London runs into the referee! Tiger suplex on Kash. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, Bloody Hell! Cover, but there's no one to count for Paul London! Kash counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Second rope flying axe handle, London goes down. One day, Kash might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. London takes a NICE hurrancarana from Kid Kash. There's a two count on the pin. Diamond Dust from Kid Kash and London is out! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Kid Kash misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. London crushes Kash with a huge legdrop. Pin, but Kash is out just before the three count. Kid Kash comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Paul London is in trouble. Here it comes - Money In The Bank. 1....2...3, it's finished. Paul London extends his hand to Kash...but it is ignored!

My Opinion: Great match. Most people would give it ****3/4 or more, but I guess I'm a harsh grader. ****1\2 for you.

Ross: Man, these new kids know how to go at it!

Lil Jon: Ye-ah!

Pure Gold

Booker T is in the ring, carrying the WWE Intercontinental belt: Chris Kanyon, you betta listen up, sucka. I am the Intercontinental champ for a reason, son! And now it looks like we’re set to go for little hardcore match for the title at Unforgiven. I’m alright by that, but that’s just because I have this title around my waist and a bit confident - because I am the five time! Five time! Heavy-weight champ, and nothing is going to make me lose this belt.

Chris Kayon comes down the aisle and into the ring: Now, now Book. You might be the former---whatever champion, but no one is better than Chris Kanyon. You, in your cheating ways, may have beat me back at Summer Slam, but not at Unforgiven. I’m not done with you Booker until then. In the mean time, I’m just a thorn in your side. And this title :he grabs the I.C. title from Booker T: ...is mine! :Kanyon grabs the belt and waffles Booker T in the face with it! Chris Kanyon poses above him, the belt in his hands.: I am the greatest!

Ross: Oh my god! Can you believe that, Lil Jon?! Kanyon just slammed Booker T in the face with his own title belt!

Lil Jon: What?! What?!

McMahon Continues

Vince McMahon is backstage: We’re now less than one week away from Unforgiven. And even before Summer Slam, Eddie Guerrero and Ultimo Dragon fight have been going back and forth. I want to see your problem resolved at Unforgiven. You can’t just interrupt the flow of things here for your selfish needs. Get this thing done, and get it done in a ladder match, with the U.S. title on the line. So you two better get some practice in.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Edge.

Match Background: This match is for the WWE United States title.

The Match: Eddie hits a HARD spinning kick to the jaw. Eddie hits a HARD spinning kick to the jaw. Implant DDT by Eddie Guerrero! I will always and forever mark out for that move. There's a two count on the pin. Eddie reverses a Edge hammerlock. Flying reverse elbow by Eddie Guerrero. There's a two count on the pin. Tiger suplex on Edge. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, Bloody Hell! Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Edge powers out of a headlock. Edge connects with rights and lefts and Eddie Guerrero is down! Eddie pushes out of a Edge hold. Eddie Guerrero hits a rolling kick on Edge. Ultimo Dragon comes running down the aisle with a chair! Edge goes to irish whip Eddie Guerrero into the ropes. Ultimo jumps onto the apron with the chair...but Eddie Guerrero reverses! Collision between Ultimo, Edge, and the chair! Edge staggers back into a roll up! 1...2...3! It's over! Eddie Guerrero slides out of the ring to the floor, then turns and leaves through the crowd. He's happy to have the win, and evidently isn't going to hang around for Edge and Ultimo Dragon to get some payback.

My Opinion: I really shouldn't drink when I'm reviewing matches. Especially with Scotsman, I can't drink nearly as much, so I try too hard. It was either ** or ****, but I guess I'll have to compromise and say ***.

Triple H's Thoughts On Commissioner Mikey Whipwreck

Triple H is in the ring: Hey, Mikey! Looks like back on SmackDown with past week I took down your golden child, Paul London. And I noticed you’ve been a bit shy tonight, Mikey. Hanging out backstage, not coming to the ring, not making your little announcements which are always direct towards me! Don’t think I haven’t noticed Mikey?!

Mikey Whipwreck comes out to the ring: Of course I was expecting you to notice, dumbass. This is what I do. I come out and make your life a living hell. You are a crippling factor in this company. I can‘t stand you Cripple H! I want you out of this company and away from wrestling! :Whipwreck boots Triple H in the gut! Pedigree!!!: And yes, you will be wrestling tonight. Tonight you’ll be wrestling John Cena! I know, I love it, too!

Shannon crushes Hurricane with a huge legdrop. Shannon tags out to Sean O'Haire. Shannon \ O'Haire whip Hurricane into the ropes and hit a double backdrop. Running knee lift from Sean O'Haire. O'Haire hits a piledriver on Hurricane. That used to end matches, you know. O'Haire tags out to Shannon Moore. Shannon hits a dropkick on Hurricane and gets right back up. Hurricane elbows Shannon Moore in the face to break a hammerlock. Hurricane tags out to Tajiri. Super kick by Tajiri. Shannon Moore is all alone...Hurricane Kick!! 1....2....3! Hurricane and Tajiri remain in the ring, celebrating their victory.

My Opinion: A badly blown spot prevents me from giving out more snowflakes. ***3/4

Triple H vs. John Cena.

Match Background: None.

The Match: HHH slams John Cena. HHH walks into a drop toe hold. Cena slams Triple H. Cena whips HHH into the turnbuckles...and the ref is crushed! Death valley driver by John Cena! No one executes that move properly anymore. Cover, but there's no one to count for John Cena! HHH counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Bodyslam by HHH. HHH hits a piledriver on John Cena. That used to end matches, you know. Hooks the leg for a two count. Brutal sit out powerbomb on Cena! Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Ross: Whipwreck has just leveled Triple H for the second time tonight!

Lil Jon: Yeah!

Ross: I guess you liked that, Lil Jon.

Lil Jon: What?

Ross: I guess you liked that, Lil Jon.

Lil Jon: What?

Ross: I guess you liked that, Lil Jon.

Lil Jon: Yeah! O-K!

My Opinion: It was close to a ** match, but I just can't stand too many blown spots. *3/4

'91 nearly crushes the spine of Bubba! Tag to Shelton Benjamin. Running knee lift from Shelton Benjamin. Massive backbreaker on Bubba and I get happy flashbacks to Bret Hart's Five Moves of DOOM. Bubba blocks a punch. Tag between Bubba Ray Dudley and Brock Lesnar. Nice piledriver on Shelton. Death valley driver (not to be confused with the DVD 500) by Brock Lesnar connects and Shelton Benjamin is down! Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Trying to channel the spirit of Misawa, Brock Lesnar ends up chanelling Lex Luger instead and nails a running forearm to the face, minus the steel plate, of course. Shelton Benjamin once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Gutwrench into a powerbomb, aka the Doctor Bomb and Lesnar hits hard. It's a MAD HOUSE in the ring as all four workers are going at it!! The referee can't seem to do anything to stop it and gets shoved away. The referee turns and calls for the bell. The referee's had enough, and has called this a double DQ. World's Greatest Tag Team and F-Bomb aren't satisfied! They start brawling again, turning the ringside area into a battlefield until officials run down and physically pull them apart.

My Opinion: Let me practice my math. 13 quarter stars equal a ***1\4 rating, right? Yeah, it does. That's what you get.

Match Background: None.

The Match: Rhyno takes a headbutt from The Rock. Rock walks into a drop toe hold. Rhyno hits a right hand. Rock reverses an irish whip...and Rhyno runs into the referee! Rhyno levels Rock with a cheap shot right hand! Rhyno spins Rock around. Rhyno hits the Gore! The Rock has been floored after the match.

My Opinion: I really shouldn't drink when I'm reviewing matches. Especially with Scotsman, I can't drink nearly as much, so I try too hard. It was either ** or ****, but I guess I'll have to compromise and say ***.

Ross: Rhyno is definitely back and making an impact! He just lead out the People’s champ, The Rock!

Lil Jon: What?!

AJ Styles and Kurt Angle vs. Chris Jericho and Ken Shamrock.

My Opinion: They definitely need to hook up again, I don't care what anyone says. ***1\2.

Tuesday, September 21, 2004 - Triple H is furious backstage saying that he had to carry the entire match against Cena.  Stating, "John Cena isn't at the right level to fight a wrestler such as myself.  I'm always going to main event and nothing else.  I can't wrestle guys like Cena.  It's a disgrace to wrestling and ruins my image in-ring and in the back."  Tempers are flairing backstage between Triple H, Prof. Plague, Vince McMahon, and Mikey Whipwreck.  Something tells me that the continuing feud between Whipwreck and Triple H might add some real emotion to the feud, but nothing that was written.

Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. London whips Benoit into the turnbuckles...and the ref is crushed! DDT from the top rope by Paul London. That looked KILLER. Cover, but there's no one to count for Paul London! THERE IT IS! A legdrop to the BACK OF THE HEAD! I swear, that makes any match just a little bit better. General Manager Shane's Announcement

Shane McMahon is on the soundstage: There’s been some talk about Unforgiven. There’s been a few matches set these past couple of weeks...and now I feel like adding another! We’ve been going on about the I.C. title and Cruiser-Weight title, but how could we forget the best and most important title in this industry? This Sunday at Unforgiven - Ken Shamrock and Kurt Angle for the Undisputed WWE World title! Shamrock, you the king of the octagon and Angle, you’re a gold medalist from the Olympics! You both say you’re the best wrestlers here because of your different styles - Olympic and UFC - then prove yourselves in a submission match! Only from there can we start deciding who is the best technical wrestler in the game!

Cole: Wow Tazz! It’s been announced! Shamrock and Angle for the World title in a submission bout! This could go either way!

Tazz: We’ve been talking Olympics or Ultimate Fighting? Both are great technique wrestlers, but with different styles! I can’t Shane made it a submission match!

Chris Kanyon vs. Booker T.

Match Background: Kanyon and Booker have been feuding for quite some time now. Booker T is the reigning WWE Intercontinental champion. Kanyon and Booker are scheduled to wrestle at Unforgiven.

The Match: Booker T with a spinning neckbreaker on Kanyon. Booker hits a piledriver on Chris Kanyon. That used to end matches, you know. There's a two count on the pin. Hooks the leg for a two count. Brutal sit out powerbomb on Booker! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Flying shoulder tackle by Kanyon sends Booker CRASHING to the mat. Booker blocks a punch. BIG clothesline on Booker. Brutal sit out powerbomb on Booker! Chris Kanyon floors Booker near the ropes and makes the pin. Kanyon is using the ropes for leverage! The referee hasn't seen it: 1....2....3!! Chris Kanyon slides out of the ring to the floor, then turns and leaves through the crowd. He's happy to have the win, and evidently isn't going to hang around for Booker to get some payback.

Cole: You can tell it in their eyes that they aren’t through with each other yet! I bet they can’t wait for Unforgiven and their hardcore match!

My Opinion: I really shouldn't drink when I'm reviewing matches. Especially with Scotsman, I can't drink nearly as much, so I try too hard. It was either ** or ****, but I guess I'll have to compromise and say ***.

World's Greatest Tag Team vs. Hurricane and Tajiri.

Match Background: This match is for the WWE Tag Team titles. World's Greatest Tag Team are the reigning World Tag Team champions, and have been since 19 August 2004.

Raven climbs out of the ring, the damage done! Hurricane is in trouble. Haastruction! 1....2....3. Raven and Rhyno signal for the Goring Raven Effect! From the crowd come F-Bomb, and they look ready for action! They slide in and start brawling with Raven and Rhyno! It only lasts a few moments before Raven and Rhyno bail out of the ring and head for the backstage area, looking furious. F-Bomb remain in the ring, having gotten the upper hand this time.

My Opinion: The psychology was sound, the work was crisp, but a few awkward moments drag it down to about ****1\2.

Whipwreck Plans For Triple H And Unforgiven

Mikey Whipwreck comes to the ring: Well, well, well Triple H. It’s almost Unforgiven and I haven’t assigned you to a match yet. Who will I pick? Will I wait until Sunday to announce it? I should I have “Macho Man” Randy Savage come back and do it for me? If you recall who I’ve been having you wrestle against on Raw and SmachDown, just you wait for the extra, special match I have for you at Unforgiven! :Out from the back comes Triple H:

Triple H: Whipwreck, you think you can just assign me to whomever you want. This isn’t going to happen anymore. I’m not you’re little play-thing that you just send out to entertain you! I am a wrestler, dammit! Not a clown!

Whipwreck: We can change that Triple H. You know longer have creative control in this company. I could do that if I felt like. I could make you come out week after week in a clown costume. ...In fact, I might just do that!

Triple H: You can’t do that Whipwreck!

Whipwreck: I can and you know it! So don’t tempt me.

Triple H: ...I’ll show you what’s tempting. :Triple H assaults Whipwreck taking him down. Pedigree!: I won’t wrestle at Unforgiven if I don’t want to.

Cole: What is Triple H saying? What is Triple H doing? Doesn’t he know the authority Mikey Whipwreck has?

Tazz: Triple H is going to do whatever he feels. Even if he doesn’t have creative control anymore.

Eddie Guerrero and Matt Hardy Version 1.0 vs. Ultimo Dragon and Rey Mysterio.

Match Background: This is another chapter in the long-running Eddie vs Ultimo feud. This is a continuation of the Rey vs. Matt feud. Rey Mysterio is the reigning WWE Cruiserweight champion. Rey Mysterio slams Matt, who rolls onto his stomach. What is Matt Hardy Version 1.0 doing? Rey Mysterio picks him up and signals for a powerbomb. Rey sets-up for the powerbomb, but Matt rolls behind his back and pins Rey in a school-boy! Guerrero is holding Matt’s legs up! 1-2-3! That match is over! But it looks like Rey \ Ultimo look like they aren't done...and they attack Matt \ Eddie! After an exchange of blows, Matt and Eddie are sent out in the ring.

My Opinion: All it gets is a ***1\2 rating from me. Deal with it.

AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho.

Chris Jericho levels Styles with a cheap shot right hand! Chris Jericho floors Styles. Chris Jericho signals - Lion Sault! AJ Styles has been floored after the match.

My Opinion: Great match, it deserves every snowflake its getting. ****1\4

Manager Stephanie Reports

Stephanie McMahon is backstage in the Commissioner Office: Triple H, you’re wrong! You will be wrestling at Unforgiven! And Whipwreck - you’re wrong! Although he will wrestle, it will not be a wrestler by your choice, but rather it will now be by my choice. Futhermore, Triple H won’t be wrestling a wrestle, he will be wrestling a Commissioner! You two bicker so much back-and-forth...it’s annoying! You both should know better than to waste our time. So, with that being said - it’s going to be Mikey Whipwreck versus Triple H at Unforgiven. And I think this is a time where only one should remain on top...only one man should remain standing. That’s why at Unforgiven, it’s going to be a last man standing match!

Tazz: I can’t believe my ears Cole! Commissioner Whipwreck and Triple H in a last man standing match! Do you think the winner will have more power in the WWE afterwards?

Cole: May be Tazz. At least more authority backstage, if in the least. ..Plus bragging rights!

Angle blocks a punch. Shamrock walks into a stiff sit-out jaw breaker. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Shamrock flips out of a Kurt Angle bodyslam attempt. Ken Shamrock floors Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle gets locked in the Ankle Lock! Submission victory! Ken Shamrock slides to the outside and grabs a chair, then climbs back into the ring. Angle turns around...and gets planted with a huge chair shot to the head! He is left down and out on the canvas.

My Opinion: I'll give this a ***1\4 rating.

Cole: I can't believe that! Ken Shamrock just slammed Angle against the skull with the steel chair! This isn't technical wrestling! What about the UFC, Ken?! What about the integrity of a good fight, huh?

Tazz: Let Shamrock go it. Let him get it out of his system.

Cole: That's just disgusting.

Ok this is the major things I've picked up from skimming the diary:

- I hate copy&pasting from EWR. Hate hate hate hate hate.

- I equally hate the introduction of yourself as a character - especially with Vince McMahon kissing your ass. It just doesn't seem right.

- I'm guessing you're a huge Mikey Whipwreck mark because otherwise I see no reason to bring him in to such a high-profile feud.

- Overall it's kinda bland. Maybe it's just me but there seems to be a distinct lack of character development. Plus I haven't seen anything that really seperates the wrestlers from each other and makes them unique, especially at the lower end of the card.

- There's basically no explanation for some of the rivalries. Eddie/Dragon started because Eddie attacked Ultimo. But there was no explanation for why he attacked him.

- Where are all the angles? On the last SmackDown before Unforgiven I count three angles. Shows before a PPV are better to be angle-intensive, build-up the heat before the matches. I've noticed that throughout the entire diary there is a distinct lack of angles. I understand you want to focus on wrestling rather than 'sports entertainment' (which would kill the WWE) but angles are still important. Angle lead to matches and matches lead to angles, which in turn lead to matches.

- There are two many 'money matches' being put on free TV with no build-up whatsoever. On the very first show Eddie and Benoit faced each other in a submission match. Why? On the same show you had Lesnar vs Triple H and Angle vs Rock, all with no build-up. I'd pay good money for a PPV featuring those three aforementioned matches.

- Some of your roster is clearly in the wrong place. For example Brock Lesnar in the tag division (especially a makeshift team)

- Everything seems so thrown together, at some times there seems to be no coherence.

- Jim Ross & Jim Cornette? History show two play-by-plays just don't work.

- Kid Kash is barely over 200 pounds. Vince McMahon would kick his ass.

Sorry if it seems negative but in all honesty I just don't like it. Too 'smarkish' for my tastes.

For the most part, things are just now are starting to pick-up and follow the right idea I'm trying to do for the shows. The beginning is a little rough because I'm trying to pick-up from the game itself and into something different. But that needs a little build-up.

But as for who's who on the card, that's because a lot of my wrestlers on too over, and I'm trying to work around that. At least three-quarters of my available roster is 80 over. So, I'm trying to work things together.

Why is Brock in a tag team? Because I wanted to put he and Bubba into a tag team. I wasn't going to do much with them in singles, but I wanted them on the roster.

This kind of ties-in with Brock Lesnar. What you may currently know in the WWE or what was, doesn't mean it applies here. So, if Brock loses overness and Bubba is gaining overness to the point where they on the same card - and they have roughly the same stats, then I'd put them in a tag team and try to get both of them over.

The problem behind this which I'm currently working on: This starts with set overness, stats, teams, gimmicks, etc. So I'm currently trying to progressively change this as time goes by, or even keep some things, but change them a little. (e.g. O'Haire joining Mattitude)

All truth to the Mikey Whipwreck: I hired him originally as a wrestler, but became a non-wrestler. Triple H isn't as over as a lot of wrestlers in my game currently, and wanted to do something with Whipwreck since I have him on the roster. And thus, they fued.

And as for Eddie and Dragon: Can you honestly say that you have never seen a fued in the WWE that has began in that manner? Honestly, it's not the smartest move to do, but the game needed a nice fued to get things going.

I use EWR because my intention is to do a lot of my own writing for segments. I currently have been short on time and therefore I am short on posting. But I will have better written segments to come.

The "sports-entertainment thing" is a gimmick within the company. Obviously there are going to be segments and interviews and commentary, but this is goes back to my original point of why my segments have been short lately: I really don't as much time to go all-out on this board.

The Prof. Plague character isn't actually based on me. That may be my name of the board, but I don't put myself as the character. People can use the name "Eddie Guerrero" on the baord, but that person doesn't necessarily have to be Eddie Guerrero himself. It's just a character.

As for money matches - I just want to give a good show and to work my wrestlers to a real ability. Why put a good wrestler against a mis-matches wrestler on a show just to make him look good? Why not put on a good match every now and again? A lot of my wrestlers as you may have noticed, are all-rounds, so good matches just happen. There are good matches, there are bad matches, and a lot of time they're inbetween. It just happens.

I might need some clarification on your perspective of being too smarkish. I'm just trying to do the game by who's over and should with working with whom.

Again, a lot of this is to just get things started. But now that I have done some posting on the board and have gotten feedback, there's only room for improvement. I'll post some stuff about my current roster. I was going to wait a show or two, but I might as well do that now.

Spoiler: There's a rost split coming up with in the next couple of shows. Please, just be patient for that. I'm behind a little on updating, as I have said earlier.

Thanks again for your in-put - and things are going to get better with the shows, so keep reading - and I think you'll like it.

I understand you don't have time to write out the matches fully. But you could always summarise them like I do, it beats copy & pasting directly from EWR.

EWR is very unrealistic when it comes to wrestlers getting over by simply having great matches. That's one thing I don't like about the game, but I understand that it isn't your fault.

I can understand the logic in putting Bubba & Brock in a makeshift team if you want to use them both. However there was no explanation for why they teamed up. And what happened to D-Von? The Dudleyz are a fine team.

I can't argue that I haven't seen feuds start the way Eddie/Dragon started but that doesn't mean that they're any good. It's a very lazy way to start a feud. Plus there was no explanation. Even the infamous Jericho/Kane coffee feud had an explanantion.

It makes no difference whether the Prof Plague character is based on you or not. That doesn't change anything, I still dislike the idea and my original comments don't change.

I have no argument with putting on good matches, my query is with putting on matches which would sell a PPV on free TV with virtually no build-up behind them.

I hate grammatical errors. I understand your time constraints but it just a little thing that really annoys me.

In hindsight maybe 'smarkish' wasn't the best word to choose. Maybe 'unrealistic' would be a better choice.

In hindsight maybe 'smarkish' wasn't the best word to choose. Maybe 'unrealistic' would be a better choice.

What happened to D-Von and why aren't The Dudlezy a tag team on my game?

If you didn't notice, D-Von was fired. That is why they aren't a tag team on my game. And thus another reason why Bubba Ray and Brock are in a tag team.

The Prof. Plague character also goes into another thing. Part of the reason why I involve Plague within the game is to over-ride other decisions with the company, and that way things won't happen for no apparant reason.

Such like Whipwreck/Triple H fued. Triple H is 69 over in the game. Almost all of my wrestlers are at least 80 over, including Whipwreck. If it wasn't Whipwreck getting orders from the Head Booker to demote Triple H, he would still be main eventing because of Vince's creative control. With the Plague character, he can veto over Vince. If you notice the Plague character is someone only talked about and does not actually in the game itself.

Another thing that ties-in with this is that Triple H would still be main eventing in real life even if he wasn't that over because of everything backstage. We have to detach what we see and know in real life to follow my shows. As booker, Triple H doesn't deserve to main event anymore. And thus why he is pushed down in my game.

I'm sorry, you have me a little lost on the grammatical errors comment.

Things don't necessarily have to be realistic. That 's the point of doing something different. If I wanted to do something realistic, I wouldn't be playing this game and would only watch WWE for the rest of my life. And the point of this is to have fun and to enjoy it. It's entertainment. If someone feels bogged down by realism, then there's suspension of disbelief.

Wow. That was an interesting semester. I've been playing the game, but with no updates on the board. I'll try to give updates and try to posts the PPVs and give background to get at least a little caught-up. The shows are getting real interesting and the roster is becoming even more intestering.

no hurry, really. i agree with c man, your diary sucks

So - let me get this straight. It sucks. And you want me to be aware that it sucks, but yet you're reading it. I just want to clarify, yes? You're reading - but yet it sucks, and you go out of your way to state is sucks. But yet you're reading it.

So, if it sucks. That means you've read it. ...A lot of it.

So, point of clarification: Why does it suck? ANd if it sucks so horribly, then why are you reading it?

And doesn't this prove, that people are still reading it no matter what. Wow - I feel like the real WWE.

Thanks. :D

I've decided for the sake of time, I'm going to briefly jump over my October PPV, No Mercy, so I can jump into November's Survivor Series; more specifically, the Legends match.

Survivor Series - November 28, 2004

Team Hulkamaniacs

Hulk Hogan/Austin/Michaels/Ultimate Warrior/ Earthquake are backstage:

Hogan: Tonight at Survivor Series, we, The Hulkamaniacs are going to take on five of the biggest names in wrestling history. But you know what brother, we are five wrestlers who are even bigger than Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Bob Backlund, "Hot Rod" Rowdy Roddy Piper, and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. We've taken our vitamins, we've said our prayers, and we've gone to bed on time. And it's not 4:00 in the afternoon like that old man, Ric Flair!

Warrior: Flair! Waaaaa!!!! You might have founded the 4 Horsemen, but we are even better than that! We are the Hulkamaniacs. We are the single greatest faction in wrestling history. Any man who attaches himself to this man, Hulk Hogan, is just as great, and even better than you!

Austin: And Greg Valentine, you listen up you sovabitch! You think because you're special because you've been inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame. But to me, you're still just a heaping mass of crap!

Michaels: Undertaker, I can remember the days when I would wrestle you one-on-one? And don't you remember who's always come on top? That's right! It's been me, the Heartbreak Kid, every single time. Deadman, this is going to be your last match ever!

Earthquake: Backlund...Piper...can you say...EARTHQUAKE?!!!

Hogan: That's right, Earthquake! We've beaten them all before, and now it's time to beat them once and for all! Brother, whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you!!!

Warrior: Waaaaa!!!! :Beats chest:

Hulkamaniacs vs. Team Flair

Match Background: Hulkamaniacs consists of Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Earthquake, and Ultimate Warrior. Team Flair consists of Ric Flair, Undertaker, Bob Backlund, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, and "Hot Rod" Rowdy Roddy Piper.

Earthquake counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Earthquake with standing spinebuster on Backlund. Earthquake floors Bob Backlund. Eaethquake runs - Vertical Splash! 1....2....3!

Second Fall : Earthquake tags out to Hogan. Greg Valentine pushes Hogan down. Valentine with face jam on Hogan. Hogan flips out of a Greg Valentine piledriver attempt. Hogan stomps on Valentine. Hogan scoops Valentine from the canvas an whips him into the ropes - and hits Valentine with a boot to the face. Valentine is down. Legdrop Of Doom! 1....2....3.

Ross: Looks like The Hulkamaniacs take an early lead into this Survivor Series match. I think they could wrap things up already!

Cornette: I wouldn't doubt it, Ross; but don't overlook everyone else who is left.

Ross: I didn't plan to Jim.

Third Fall : Hogan tags out to Shawn Michaels. Running knee lift from Shawn Michaels onto the incoming Roddy Piper. Michaels piledrives Piper. Covers for a quick two count. Roddy Piper knocks HBK down to the canvas with a clothesline. Followed by a second and then a third. Piper goes to whip Michaels into the ropes and goes for a backbody drop - but Michaels leapfrogs! Piper turns around and Michaels goes for the Sweet Chin Music! But Piper ducks and spins Michaels around! Sleeper Hold! Hart counts Michaels hand drop. 1----2---but Michaels catches it on time! Hart body checks Michaels! ---3!

Ross: Hart has just screwed Michaels from the match!

Cornette: Well, good for him. He would have lost anyhow! And frankly, he more than deserved it!

Ross: Yeah, that's true. I'm not denying that one.

Fourth Fall : Piper tags to Ric Flair. Flair strikes Steve Austin with come chops. Bodyslam on Stone Cold by Flair and sets up a legdrop. Steve Austin comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Steve Austin scores with a big spinebuster. Pin, but Flair is out just before the three count. Flair backdrops Steve Austin out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Ric Flair. Flair hits a piledriver on Steve Austin. ONE...TWO...THREE. Flair defeats Stone Cold.

Fifth Fall : Big forearm by Piper draws laughter from the crowd because it was THAT bad. Messed up bodyslam by Piper almost kills Hogan. Hooks the leg for a two count. Piper walks into a drop toe hold. Side suplex from Hogan. Could have been done a hell of a lot better though. Roddy Piper gets knocked to the ground by Hogan. Here it comes - Legdrop Of Doom, forget about it. 1....2...3!

Sixth Fall : Ultimate Warrior takes a right hand to the temple from Flair. I bet those hurt more than Sgt. Slaughter's Noogies. Ric Flair with a badly-executed spinning neckbreaker on Warrior. One more performed that badly and this match will end on a bad note, if you get my drift. Hooks the leg for a two count. Warrior counters a sleeper with a jaw breaker and is able to get free! Flapjack from Warrior on Flair. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Ric Flair is able to duck a clothesline attempt and connect with a counter clothesline. Bodyslam by Flair. Figure Four Leglock! Sloppy discus punch from Ric Flair barely connects on Hogan. Ric Flair floors Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan gets locked in the Figure Four Leglock! Submission victory!

Eighth Fall : Earthquake punches away at Undertaker only to get the tides turned quickly. Earthquake punches away at Undertaker. Covers for a quick two count. Undertaker pushes out of a Earthquake hold. Side suplex from Undertaker. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Quake counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Powerslam from Earthquake on Undertaker. Vertical Splash! ONE...TWO...THREE. Quake defeats Undertaker.

Final Fall : Earthquake strikes Ric Flair. Hooks the leg for a two count. Earthquake DDTs Flair. Side suplex from Quake. Pin, but Flair is out just before the three count. Quake goes for a splash but Flair puts the knees up. Earthquake gets knocked to the ground by Flair. Here it comes...Figure Four Leglock! Earthquake is wailing with pain but refuses to tap! Flair has no choice but to release the hold. Running clothesline from Ric Flair. Quake blocks a kick from Ric Flair. Ric Flair gets knocked to the ground by Quake. Vertical Splash! 1....2....3.

My Opinion: DUD.

:Hulkamaniacs fill the ring. Hogan grabs the mic:

Hogan: Kids, this was a special night tonight proving we are the greatest athletes EVER in wrestling!

Earthquake: That's right, Hulk. Tonight is a special night for all of us. But it's especially a good night for something else. Fans, I have an announcement. Tonight is the night I officially announce my retirement from the wrestling world. And I couldn't think of a better night to bring my career to that sudden stop and Wrestling is a difficult thing to stay away from. I just wanted to thank you all for being here and watching my final match tonight.

:Hogan and Austin each grab Earthquake's hands and rises them.:

Austin: Congratulations you lucky sonavabitch! Enjoy your retirement! :insert beer bash:

Just a random thing: I just wanted to say the breakdown of how much that one Legends match cost me, as a funny, little, needless, tidbit.

Hulk Hogan - $240,000 per appearance

Steve Austin - $220,000 per month

Shawn Michaels - $176,000 per month

Ultimate Warrior - $97,000 per appearance

Earthquake - $25,000 per appearance

Undertaker $184,000 per appearance

Bob Backlund - $39,000 per appreance

Greg Valentine - $36,000 per appearance

Roddy Piper - $32,000 per appearance

Ric Flair - $172,000 per month

Bret Hart - $56,000 per appearance

A total of $1.037 million for that one match. And I would like to think that was money well-spent. Would I toss-away $1.037 million for another DUD Legends match? You know it. Anytime that's possible. Although, a lot of those wrestlers are currently not happy with me and refuse to negotiate with me at any given time. Oh well.

Side note: Originally scheduled wasn't Greg Valentine, it was Randy Savage who immediately quit after hiring Hulk Hogan. He was originally signed on as an authority figure, so he was still paid his $184,000 per appearance before quitting. So, this actually brings the total to $1.221 million.

Oh yeah, I'll do that again anytime I'll be given the chance. Probably at the next Survivor Series. And as soon as it is, even if I'm not updated on here, I'm going to have to post it anyhow.

HHH and Flair are putting the boots to John Cena! Mikey Whipwreck comes running down the aisle with a chair! He slides in, sending HHH \ Flair running for cover. Mikey Whipwreck just saved Cena.

My Opinion: *1/4 rating.

You didn't beat me last night and you never will! :Whipwreck charges at full-speed toward Triple H with a chair, giving him a lariat with it. Flair runs backstage. Whipwreck grabs the chair and floors HHH with it straight-on! He wraps the chair around the ankle of Triple H and jumps double-footed onto the chair, causing it to snap shut, pillmanizing Triple H! Triple H is grabbing his ankle in pain! Mikey Whipwreck points and laughs at Triple H.

Whipwreck: Where's your Evolution now, huh?
