Bored Posted September 10, 2004 Author Report Posted September 10, 2004 Also, anyone who picked 256 yards as Brad Smith's all-purpose yardage gets tiebreaker #2 this week. Spicy McHaggis picked 258 yards. Next closest was AlwaysPissedOff with 253 (haven't posted his picks yet since still no picks from his opponent) and myself with 261. Holding off on posting the results thread until I hopefully hear from the last two teams.
CanadianChris Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 Damn, I KNEW Troy State was going to win that game, and I didn't pick it. I am GUTLESS.
Bored Posted September 10, 2004 Author Report Posted September 10, 2004 Bowling Green ("Hail" bps21) Friday, September 10th Miami Oregon State Saturday, September 11th Wisconsin Northwestern Nebraska UCLA Kansas State Michigan Ohio State Washington State Virginia Texas A&M Georgia Oklahoma USC Georgia Tech Boston College Alabama Arkansas Tiebreaker #1: How many total points will be scored in the Florida State/Miami game? 49 Still waiting to hear from Kingofthe909. No one seems to want to hang on to Georgia.
teke184 Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 If Miami and Florida State don't start putting up TDs quickly, this tiebreaker will go to the low man in each matchup. There's 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter and the score is 10-0 Florida State.
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 I came close with my pick of 36..
Bored Posted September 11, 2004 Author Report Posted September 11, 2004 Never heard from Kingofthe909 (Georgia) so he forfeits. Here were AlwaysPissedOff's (Alabma) picks: Missouri Miami Oregon State Wisconsin Arizona State Nebraska UCLA Fresno State Michigan Colorado Ohio State Virgina Texas A&M Georgia Oklahoma USC Clemson Penn State Alabama Texas TB #1: 42 points TB #2: 253
teke184 Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 Bored, what happens with Georgia now? Replaced by someone else or are they a "free win" for everyone for the rest of the season?
Bored Posted September 11, 2004 Author Report Posted September 11, 2004 They'll be replaced unless I suddenly hear from the guy this weekend. I definently don't want any team being a free win all year. Ironically enough they were a replacement for a Week 1. A reminder when it comes to forfeits the winning team will not be penalized when it comes to points against. For example if APO picks 15 games right this week it will go in his points against as 14. The team that forfeited of course gets a zero across the board.
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 My best shot involves Arkansas beating those jackass Longhorns. Go Hogs!
UZI Suicide Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Well this week has absolutely KICKED ME IN THE ASS. Too many upsets.
