Some More Help with My

Recommended Posts

Guest Crazy Dan

Hey folks, I want to first thank everyone who helped me with my trade decision, I decided to take Carolina D and Jimmy Smith for Tampa D and Calico, but now I am faced with a dilema that I hope some of you, who follow fantasy football, can help me out with.

I am a little indecisive on what WR and TE I should start this week.

My WR's are Jimmy Smith, Terrell Owens, Koren Robinson, Javon Walker, and Watts on Denver.

Now I am for sure starting TO, but I am not sure about my other two WR's. In my league you get to start two WR and two RB, and then either a RB/WR. Since my RB are not as strong, I am going with three WR. But I am not sure who to start.

Smith - has seen his numbers drop recently, and he did not do that much in the preseason, but he is the no 1 option on the Jags.

Robinson - has the talent, should be one of the better WR, but he has underachieved and tends to drop balls (huh, huh, huh, I said balls). But with Jackson being the no 1 option on Sea, he will get double teamed and this might open it up for Robinson to be productive.

Walker - I think he is on the verge of having a break out year, and looks to be Favre's no 1 option to hurl passes to, however, I have Carolina D and the Pack play them this week. I am leaning to starting him anyways.

Watts - Denver rookie who from what I have read, has blazing speed, great hands, and has been burning Champ Bailey in practice. I think he might be a sleeper, and being that Lelie has stone hands and Rod Smith is 90 years old, Watts might see many passes thrown his way, as I see him potentially becomming the number one option on Denver, but I am not sure if he will take over that roll in the first week.

As for TE:

Eric Johnson was hurt last year, but he has great hands and with my Niners looking like they will have an off year by a whole lot, from the SF Chronicle, they are predicting he might lead the team in catches, which might mean he could score a few TD.

Gates - Another up and commer, and since LT is the no rec option on that team and the Chargers have no other solid receivers, he might get a plethera of passes thrown his way.

TE is not as important to me, since most don't get you points anyways, but who would you start in this situation?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Thank you all... to answer your question about my RB's... I have Barlow, Barber, and Tatum Bell... and I am waiting till Bell does something before I start him... so I have better WR at the moment

I'd call the Panthers secondary pretty suspect myself. Chris Gamble is pretty unknown in terms of NFL play at this stage and Tom Brady threw for 354 yards in the Super Bowl with only 1 INT. Ricky Manning Jr. had 3 INT during all of the 2003 season. Dante Wesley had 0 in 16 games and William Hampton had 0 in 5 games last season.
