Me, I'd hang out with Denis Leary's kid eight days a week, man.

 

But anyway, yeah, everyone but Benny was a total geek in that movie. I bet the kid with the glasses turned out to be a sabermetrician or something.

Leary didn't really like the kid. He just wanted to nail his mom.

 

The black kid who pitched made played in the minors. So i always think of Al arguing he has more Win Shares than Rodriguez.

Then on the next play the little kid tackles Spike somehow. Eye of the Hulkster!

 

"You're killin' me Smalls!"

That was one of the funnier runners in the movie. Smalls being clueless on what a Smore is, and Ham goes "You're killing me" and then has to go step by step on them. Then he takes a bite, and gives it to Smalls.

 

 

Edit: How about Bingo? It wasn't really abuot sports (well kinda), but the owner of the dog played for the Green Bay Packers I think, and someone held the dog for ransom for him to drop the game to the Detroit Lions, because one player can beat a whole other team single handedly.
