The Electrifyer 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2004 While I was lookingat the prices of all my books and realised they were goddamned expensive, I thought of this. If there are programs to download music and videos, would there be any to download books as well? I tried searching Kazaa and Shareaza but none of the books I need were there. What I really need is a site or program where University textbooks can be downloaded. Does such a thing even exist? ...cuz if not, it SHOULD be invented. Guest JohnnySwift Report post Posted September 14, 2004 Usually the textbooks have their own websites through the publisher that is listed on the back of the book. These sites have online chapters, tests etc. They aren't as extensive as the textbook but it got me through my jr and sr years of college. Sometimes you have to pay for access to these sites, but usually they are free.
redbaron29 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2004 The only book I have ever found available for download was ironically enough a book I needed for a computer ethics class. When I came to class with the book in a binder that I had printed up, the professor didnt take too kindly to it. Needless to say I was on his shit list for the rest of the semester
