Twisted Idea for Taker/JBL at No Mercy

Recommended Posts

They gotta bring back Evil Doink for a decent long turn run, plain and simple. Its a gimmick that actually worked for them and can be played by pretty much anyone. Come on vince, send in the clowns!!!!

I always wanted to have a silent asskicker around. Just a guy that doesn't wrestle, only appears randomly and beats people up...and then nobody sees him backstage. Ever.

Kinda like a cooler one-man version of 3MW. Let the attacks be random, during commercials, interviews, whatever. He just can't be caught for months. The fans would be like "what the FUCK?" and shit, some would probably tune in just to see who he punks out next.

He could go through the roster two or three times before someone is finally like "bitch!" and gets the upperhand on him, only for him to slip away and then start making all of his attacks on just that one person leading into a match.

I love this idea so much. I had sort of thrown ideas for this "sniper" gimmick to be used for Tajiri: when somebody is WALKING! to the ring before a match, Tajiri pops out from a door somewhere in the corridor and kicks the guy's whose match is coming up in the back of the head. Or during interviews, even Jim Ross while he's calling a match. It's like a combination of Three Minute Warning, Positively Kanyon, and a terrorist. They should try it.

Well shit, that could actually make Dinsmore into something respectable if they played it out over months and months and had at least one attack on every show.

Like, one week some chump is mad at Kane, so he dresses as that guy and rushes out to attack, but Kane is like "uh uh, bitch" and throws up his hand up and chokeslams the little bastard into the floor. Then JR and King are like "OMGWTF Kane's gonna unmask the attacker!" and then it's just the guy that had beef with Kane. "OMGWTF It's just SO and SO, he's tricked us all!" Then as Kane lights up the fire... he gets a kendo stick to the back of the head by the REAL guy, and then the phony takes a few shots for good measure before he disappears.

It would also be good to have some of the wrestlers absolutely paranoid with shit like "oh man, he hasn't gotten me yet" and do subtle things like locking doors behind them and still getting ambushed, only for the Mystery Man to disappear and never be seen.

It doesn't get very much better than that. That sounds like an amazing angle, especially the subtle things like locking doors.

I love that subtle stuff, honestly. It is a main reason why I think stuff like THE FORKLIFT~ should happen every show. It gives fans little things to look for and with a good story behind it, it could bring back the "anything could happen" feel to the shows.

I think that is a main reason why the NWO angle worked so well in the very beginning, as you never know what was going to happen and who was going to get shitkicked next. The Jimmy Hart moment in Orlando when he ran out and grabbed two guys and sent them to the back to help...that was genius. That is one of my favorite moments in wrestling ever for the sheer out-of-nowhere aspect of it, and I would love to see that kind of thing brought back.
